  1. On paper I am very excited by this draft as you know this years draft will be proven out the next 2-3 years
  2. So your point is that Ballard has no ownership in the poor record and the team falling apart? Respectfully, There us MUCH more to this team than the points that you brought up before. (From this year) And Ballard has been here much longer than a year. Irsay HAS had his hand in on the team But..... to give a pass to Ballard doesnt seem right I love Frank Reich the man..... but this team was NEVER prepared..... we seemed to always be surprised and always behind That's on Reich AND Ballard The QB changes for the Colts (For all of the seasons) has NEVER been seen in the NFL........ EVER College teams seem to have more stability at QB than the Colts That's on Reich AND Ballard Ballard has has some nice "hits" on this team in the draft...... But his MISSES are almost as impactful I would agree that Irsay can be a pain in the keester, but he jumps in when the ship is sinking...... This ship was sinking
  3. You make a great point....... We are fans with opinions...... Nothing more But...... In my job, where I am (I believe) good at it........ I would be fired if the business that I am responsible was not doing well Most folks on the board here have some pressure to succeed in the job that they have. So far...... the Colts recent record says that we need improvement - From Ballard Ballard ultimately owns All coaching decisions All player decisions It hasnt worked so far Do I have all the answers to fix the team?..... Nope But even I as a fan, can see the results
  4. I think that he has to make progress this year with this team If we are slowly getting better through the year, (my hope) I think he will be fine. But..... this team HAS underperformed under Ballard My hope is that it all comes together...... But.... his rope is getting shorter
  5. A humble kid is usually one that can be taught I see great things...... I am GLAD we didnt get the arrogant, banana eater
  6. 10 TDs 108 Ints 1200 yards 31% completions This is very hard to predict Florida used a great deal of deep passes for AR5 ...... which are harder to complete. I imagine that they will give him a reduced playbook with plays that are lower risk as he gets going My hope is that he can get to 60% completion and can have a positive TD to INT ratio
  7. I hope you are right. I am hoping that Paye takes a step forward this year. When you are playing with a lead (Not much of that last year) you can pin your ears back....... I didnt see that enough
  8. For me its RG DE (We STILL dont have someone that that the other team fears.... my hope is that the DEs take a step this year) LB - Still not sure about our all star LB coming back 100% IMHO, you cant worry about the QB...... it WILL be a rocky road..... but my hope is strong for the long term In the offseason, my hope is that we bring in a RG to compete and maybe a DE vet, who can add a little pressure
  9. IMHO. Even if you have a good running QB….. the HAVE to also learn to accurately pass We had the eagles beaten last year, but Hurtz started running late in the game ….. it helped them win If you run him 20 -25 times per game…. He will get hurt so…. My hope is that he learns to pass well enough that we can run him sparingly…. Until it’s needed to win the game or in playoffs
  10. Irsay is not looking good. he is 63 but looks 75
  11. Respectfully I think the folks are held back mostly by his height I agree that he isn’t a Freeney But…… A spin move isn’t a skill that some of the really good DE s have today…. I don’t remember Bosa using a spin move….. Bosa has enough speed and some great hand strength This kid has some great speed and strength im not saying he will be all pro….. I’m just saying the kid can contribute
  12. Respectfully. The kid has great upside he can play both DE on early downs and inside on 3rd and long He has more burst than Paye or Dayo He should be exciting to watch
  13. My two “bold” projections Our new DT/DE and our new slot WR will be on the all rookie team
  14. I watched some video on this guy and I believe his upside is very strong He will SHOULD be a great rotation piece all along the line his height is his big holdback.
  15. I hate to disagree with a fellow Colts fan, but I have not seen that quoted by front office If you have a link I am open to changing my opinion. The league didn’t think he was worthy of a first round pick….. I believe the Colts didn’t either
  16. I think Levis hurt himself He showed arrogance, and put himself in an odd light (Bananas , Mayonaise) If you are trying to show yourself as a team leader and face of the franchise, you limit this stuff He didnt.......
  17. Richardson was my second choice (behind Stroud) but am a bit guardedly optimistic I hope the Colts fan base is PATIENT The kid needs game snaps to get better We will probably be drafting in top 5 next year....... and that HAS to be ok.... My hope is that Richardson has proven enough in the next 10-12 months that we can use that pick on other holes on this team Marvin Harrison Jr would look great as a Colt
  18. If these steps can move him from mid 50% to low 60% completion rate we will have a winner The kid seems smart enough and is said to have the work ethic Lets hope he puts it all together
  19. I absolutely agree As fans, we will need to be patient with the kid There will be BOOs as he learns the pro game.... I hope he is ready for that Though my first choice was Stroud, I'm happy with the pick, and next year we will be PROBABLY drafting early again (Which is fine, as we grow the QB of the future) I hope that AR show enough potential that we can use those very early picks to buildout this team.
  20. Seems like the perfect pick Fills a need.
  21. I have to say that the hope I hold out for is CJ Stroud this year and Harrison at WR next year
