But it was his strength. I know there is a adjustment period but he seemed to have better accuracy then he had in college. He was actually playing really good for the little experience he had and don't think it's going to take long for him to figure out how to play in the NFL

Wasn't his deep ball accuracy in college better then his midrange? Matter of fact I think his deep ball accuracy was better then Stroud, Young and Levis.

Shane is such a good coach. I can't wait for AR to get back. We are going to be lethal. -

LET'S GOOO!!!!! -
I like his aggressive approach. That being said, I think we need to help our defense more then put them in a bad postion. I wouldn't want our offense starting at our own 1 yard line. I think with the struggles of the defense we have to help not hurt them. I think Shane needs to do better at putting the team in a postion to win and not be so aggressive when the game is close. It's what got Anthony hurt and now it's hurting the team. We need to develop this team before we become so aggressive.

There are going to be head scratches for sure. But just as much as AR is learning so is Shane. Minshew was really rattled and was forcing things. We should have leaned on our strength which right now is our running game. But like you said on to the Browns. Live and learn.

Irsay has shown alot of patience with new coaches his track record speaks for itself. I don't think he is going to come unhinged with a rookie HC. The Colts are already exceeding my expectations and most likly his too. Manning only won 3 games his rookie season. We will at least win 5-7 games IMO. If we win more great, if not it's about growing as a team. AR getting hurt is my biggest concern. He needs to learn when to fight for it and when to live another day. His biggest ability is availability. I love his athleticism but he needs to take better care of his body. One last thing. I love Minshew but we did not sign him to be the franchise QB and your faith in him should be very limited. He is a good backup but that is all he is and will ever be. We need to lean on Moss and Taylor and Minshew just needs to manage the game.

This season is going to be a pass for Ballard. Sure we have some good talent and could make the playoffs. But I am looking for growth on all aspects of the team. If we win then sweet but my hopes were never that high this season. All I'm saying is keep expectations real. All this doom and gloom, the sky is falling is just a overreaction.

It's crazy. We as fans have been completely spoiled.
-
If you were hoping for a playoff run or even to just make the playoffs with a rookie QB and HC. You set yourself up for this disappointment. Sure making the playoffs would be sweet but at least be realistic.

I am stoked with the team right now. There is alot of new on our team. We will figure it out.

Let’s just assess we are HORRIBLE. (Maybe not).

I am a Colts fan and always will be. But I do enjoy watching other teams but I can't stand the Jags or Titans no matter how good they are. -

Mine as well. And I don't think it really worked that well. I just got tired of trying to convince them. -

You have to look at the whole picture. The arrival of Pedersen is what turned them around he is a good HC. They were spending money like fools and still not winning anything until he came along. -

You have to build your team through the draft and supplement it with FA. The Jags had it easy in 2022 but I don't think that will be the same story in 2023. And my point is what has all the money spent by the Jags got them? They were spending like crazy while still picking in the top rounds of the draft. -

It's silly really. It's just the stupid narrative the media is pushing and people are latching on to. -

If they would have played a more competitive division they would have barley won 7 games and then missed the playoffs. They are In a division with two of the worst teams in the NFL. With all that talent they managed to win 9 games and won arguably the worst division in the league. -

What did signing all of them solve? Not a dang thing. They barely made the playoffs. The Jags are not a organization I would model mine after. The Jags have been doing this for years. Big spenders and nothing to show for it. -

I really think he is going to pick a WR in the draft. -

I dont buy all that. They went what 9-8. Trevor was always destined to be good. Adding Doug Pedersen helped them tremendously. -

The panthers are being dumb with money. I don't agree with their philosophy at all. But I guess that's what you have to do after you give up a ton of picks. Ballard just picked Alec pperce who I think is going to be really good. I know WR is not our biggest strength but I do think they are pretty good. They have just not had good coaching or a half decent QB to throw to them. -

Something is really off with them. I cant see anybody taking the division from the Bengals for a min, the Steelers are the only team I can see making some noise to challenge Cincy. I'm just not sold on the Browns one bit, mainly because its the browns.
