I've asked this question to several people and have yet to get a "Yes" answer:  Can you sit through an entire MLB (non-playoffs) game on TV?

In a way, the regular season NBA is about the same.  The only thing you have to watch is the last two minutes.

But I don't care what anyone tells me (and my kids played) I will never understand why soccer is popular.

I watch more than my share of MLB games, mostly Yankee games but of course other teams too..

I wish I were a fan of basketball BUT I'm not....nut tune in for March Madness.

I'm certainly not a fan of Hockey or soccer and what you said about soccer I agree with.

I don't have any issues on anyone who enjoys the sports I don't watch, that's more enjoyment for them.....for me its mostly just Colts and MLB with my focus on the Yankees.......except for some Daily Fantasy and Betting..

Btw, the MLB Extea.Innings package is a lot of Bang for the Buck.!!! Last season I paid $25 per month for basically games everyday for 6 months......popcorn not included.

Pittman will be a Colt for at least 3 more years.   I'm surprised the football gods didn't let you in on the secret

Back to your world of rainbows and candy canes lol.

I do think he will be a.colt but you said he would because Ballard drafted him. He most likely is coming back but at a contract that Irsay and Pittman  agree too which I do believe will get done.

Well,   he drafted him.   That's a really good indicator

There have been other players Drafted by Ballard and all other GM's that weren't resigned.

The key to Pittman coming back is the money. We all know the colts.are a better team with him than without.. The WR room needs to add not subtract. But its still depends on the money and what Pittman thinks is best financially for his family.. There's a chance he will be  franchised if they can't come.together.. It also is possible another team is willing to out pay the colts??

Money talks and will probably be the deciding factor to how much Ballard wants him back.

On a recent episode of the Trenches Podcast TY Hilton seems to indicate Luck would’ve come back had Colts fans not booed him off the field.

If he wanted to play, he wouldn't have retired.

And as far as being booed off the field, what Sid he expect the reaction would be from fans on their franchise QB quitting on them in his prime  just 2 weeks before the season????

I like TY, but I don't think what he said is valid or makes.sense.... just my opinion.

Both solid teams, I can see that happening. Wish it was my Cubbies, but not seeing it right now.

Can’t wait for the season to start, glad the Swift Bowl has came/gone.

Agree whole heartedly on both counts.

As Florida now has legal sports betting, including in game live betting, I really am jacked up about MLB around the corner.

Someone above predicted a Braves/Orioles world series which has a good chance but getting past the Dodgers will be tough.

Sometimes I think some probably do think I brag if I get a prediction right and boast about it lol, but the difference between me and most people are, I am not afraid to predict/put my thoughts where my mouth is. I trust my football knowledge because I have seen it all since 1977 when I 1st started watching. So, If I get something right, I am just happy about it.

I have been wrong some as well. I crapped the bed with my 2022 prediction of how the Colts would do. I will at least admit when I am wrong too. I was wrong there. I am usually right more than I am wrong though, proof of that was when I created the 18 Weekly Picking Games Thread. Picking 272 games before every game was played and 10 people participated and I finished tied for 1st with @Moeby going 173-99, that is a winning % of 63.6. I also picked the Chiefs to beat the 49ers before the game last Sunday.

Every prediction I make has been posted in here, so everyone knows I am not a liar which makes it more satisfying.

In here, my before season pick for the Colts since 2018 has been:

2018 = 10-6 (make the Playoffs). I nailed it. I knew with Luck back, he was good for 10 wins.

    2019 = 8-8 (no Playoffs). We went 7-9. I missed by 1 game.

2020 = 11-5 (make the Playoffs). I nailed it. I bet on Rivers being good and was right!

2021 = 10-7 (make the Playoffs). We went 9-8 and missed the Playoffs. Still, I wasn't too far off. I missed by 1 game.

2022 = 11-6 (make the Playoffs and win the Division). That was my 1 GOOFHomer Simpson Laughing GIF by FOX TV. We went 4-12-1. I have never been more fooled in my life, crap happens though. I thought Matt Ryan would be similar to Rivers and we would have 2021 Taylor. That whole season was a cluster suck!

2023 = 8-8-1 (No Playoffs). We went 9-8 and missed the Playoffs. I missed my prediction by a half game.

I have never picked us to win the Conference or SB over the last 6 seasons (2018-2023) because I know we have never had the teams to do so.

@NewColtsFanI apologize for going way off topic but I was responding to Palmbeacher. I did read the article you posted. Thanks for everything you do in here.

You woulda nailed 2021 too BUT Unfortunately the Steelers needed the colts to lose the last two so they could make the playoffs. haha

I read the article, it is a good read. Thanks @NewColtsFan. Regarding our local media as a whole though, even go back to the Manning days, many are not the brightest. I like some and some I don't. Many seem to put our team down no matter what over the years, they even did it while Manning was here. I won't mention any names, but they have, including recently 2 people that follow the Colts for a living picking us to win 3 games which is a huge insult in my book.

I am a nobody - I admit it, I knew we would win at least 8 games last season though. How does that happen? It happens because I know the game of football better than most media people. Not bragging but my predictions are usually more spot on than most that work in that industry. Look at my weekly pick threads, I was 173-99 over 18 weeks = 63.6% right. I was 8-5 in the Playoffs = 61.5% and picked the SB winner right before the game. Before the season, I had a Ravens vs Lions SB, missed it barely. People were laughing at my Lions pick, they barely lost in the NFC Title and was up big. I picked Lamar Jackson to win MVP before the season, I guess my Crystal ball is better than most. chuckling homer simpson GIF.

Some might say your bragging and give compliments like they were throwing man hole covers.....but its not Bragging if true and facts are you are right often and don't mind putting your thoughts out there.

Now I will give some facts too. Not only did I predict the colts.would.contend for division with about 9wins, I also predicted they along with.Houston would contend for the division.

How many fans of colts & Texans or media people do you think predicted Both teams would contend for the division??? ......not many others I don't think.

I will agree that our crystal balls seem better than most. LoL

Barry Bonds not being in the Hall of Fame is a joke, he was never even found guilty of anything. Pete Rose should be in as well, look at gambling now chuckling homer simpson GIF

in the MLB, I always say Babe Ruth as the greatest because of his Dominant numbers compared to others in his day....plus I'm a Yankee fan and lets face it, as great as his numbers were, his persona was greater than his numbers..

I don't think you can compare players from different era's BUT like Belichek said about Bert Jones when asked who's the greatest QB he's ever seen "Bert is tough to beat".

The same is true imo about Bonds, he's tough to beat.

Montana is my number 1 because of the era he played in... and the Patriot's cheating... I'm not ever going to let that go.

    Well said.

People seem these days to throw morality out the door when it comes to football.

But I say if Brady and Belichekh/Patriots are talked in such High Esteem and best ever, why shouldn't Barry Bonds, Mark Mcguire, Lance Armstrong, Shoeless Joe Jackson, Sammy Sosa etc.... ????

  10. Delray beach open coming Feb 9th. Very close to me. Its a low tier mens tennis tournament, 250 points I think.. It doesn't draw top players but Taylor Fritz usually comes and a friend of mine wants me to go with him because Fritz has a hottie girlfriend and he wants to go if she's there...LoL.. I think he said her name is Morgan riddle or something like that??

I don't think Fritz has to worry bout my friend stealing her from him. haha

I don't mind going but not crazy about the players that they draw but its ok because the atmosphere is cozy and your close to players and action.

Not a bad tournament for someone to come down and see.and get away from the cold if your a tennis fan.
