  1. It's easy for other people to say for someone else to walk away from like $160 million guaranteed. We know your health, especially mental, is more important than money. But generation wealth & financial security for your self and family is hard to turn your back to

  2. A loss doesn't necessarily end the hopes of the season. We usually start out slow anyway....so maybe a loss or two more than usual at the halfway mark.

The most important part of the season isn't going to be the Won/Lost record, but how AR does and shows if he's the Franchise QB going forward or not.

He needs to stay healthy with coaching staff putting him in position to grow and succeed AND not let him down by Steinchen and lack of personal and questionable playcalling.

I wouldn't be surprised. But if the bears can't or don't try to run much, Caleb Williams may find a lot of open receivers as the the colts probably play soft pass D.

Colts Fans really need this win, with the Steelers next week, a team the colts almost always loses to, but Steinchen did call a good game against them last year for a rare win against them.

I'm sure this got discussed but I felt like it deserved its own thread.

Game 17 last year.  We need a TD to make the playoffs.  Taylor is not on the field.

Game 2 this year.  We need a TD to win the game.  Taylor is not on the field.

Help me understand the wisdom in not having your BEST PLAYER on the field in critical situations.

#1: JT could possibly go off and score a game winning TD, something that is not wanted.

#2: Maybe make a rift with JT OR start out something like 0-5 and season is lost anyway and explore trade possibilities to more preferable teams and get out from his contract. I have no idea what are ramifications of his contract if traded. Just throwing it out there and possibility #1 is more realistic BUT wouldn't a team like KC, Pittsburgh, etc... use  him better than the colts?

I'm back and better than ever baby!! Ha!!

    As the title states....

We should trade Richardson to Carolina for their 1st round pick and let Joe Cool run the show. Redraft a QB next year or in 2026.

    Here's why...

Carolina botched the young pick, they know it, and Richardson IS Cam and is why I really wasn't a fan of his. Also, I think that in that room there were some that wanted AR. Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot, he's a great athlete, seems to be a good dude, and the potential is ALWAYS going to be there however it will never be consistent enough to seriously compete, just like Cam. Carolina LOVES Cam and instantly makes them relevant according to the clueless owner. Hà!!

I will say that Pierce has looked better so here's hoping I was wrong for all those wanting me to revisit my "Real Ghost" post. Maybe the drafting of AD and the leaked story that we wanted JJ lit a fire, but there were too many drops on Sunday that were not AR's fault unless he needs to take a bit off his throws. In this league though you gotta catch the ball. So maybe give it a couple more weeks. If he betters MORE CONSISTENTLY, then we keep him and all will be good.

Still, I would trade him before the deadline. There is always a team with an ego to take this project. In this league rollercoasters are not fun when it comes to wins and losses especially with a QB dealing with a terrible defense on top. His development will falter as he will be expected to do too much to compensate the defensive woes. Seems like a recipe for disaster that another team can deal with but not us.

Ballard saves his job and credibility if he explores this move IMHO as it will take ALOT of round things that people play with..Ha!!. He wasn't really onboard if you go by the behind-the-scenes series. I think we all know the "I wish there was more tape" is clearly a reference to AR now.

Go ahead and throw your darts. I'm waiting Ha!!

Its a idea but not fair to AR.

Having the misfortune to be drafted by a sub par franchise AND THEN traded to a even worse one. :funny:

Most of us aren't concerned about AR.

We have concerns with our veteran WRs, TEs, LBs, DBs, DEs, DTs, the play calling, and baffling personnel decisions.

Yeah, but otherwise the colts are in looking good. haha

Alot of us expected the 2-0 start, but the loss of Buckner for a minimum of 4 weeks. I like to remind myself that in Peyton's first season we went 3-13 and only the following season did we turn the corner to 13-3 and went to the playoff that season.  This season is heavy loaded upfront, so things may work out better for us since alot of our players are still learning the ropes.

Oh don't kid yourself, you'll be looking for me.

Also, I didn't say I wouldn't post. I'm just not watching any more games until Gus is gone. There's a difference.

I haven't watched a game (colts or any other team) this season. I'm out of market but do tune in to Red Zone for colts in their time slot.

Today I went surf fishing and tuned in to Red Zone for 2nd half.....only football I've watched.

But I did make two bets and won them both:

I took the packers +2.5 ...... and then a 2 team parlay Packers +2.5/ Jets ML

I just have little interest in football these days but still keep  up  a bit with colts. I have been here a lot less this year. Ballard has a way of doing that to colt fans, seems like significantly less people here the last few years.

I don't take it serious anymore, its only Entertainment like watching a movie or tv show. My advice to fans , try to enjoy and if it stops being enjoyable tune out or wait for your teams turn to win. Lol

On the bright side the colts usually start slow and then upset some team and then hover around .500 or a game or two below. Lose at Jacksonville and falter late and miss the playoffs..So a big win could.be coming around the corner to get the fans in hoping and believing.

I don't generally read his/ her posts.  They think the league is rigged.  Not sure why they watch

Sure you do(read all my posts), your obsessed with me and want MY picks to gamble on haha. And what I've been saying about the Colts has been right for years and is looking like it again so far again.

I hope I don't have to go through the trouble of putting you on 'ignore',(if that option is still available).

Those two are your go to analysts?  When were either successful professionally?

Uhhhhh.   What are the other ways?

Its a joke I've been having with Danhart for years when he asks for a prediction.

I don't get to near venturi much since I'm out of market and don't spend much time listening to dakich/jmv  anymore when he comes on their show... But I've always liked listening to him, he makes sense as to what he usually says. The days he spent with the colts in the 80's I think, no human could have succeeded in that time period.

Anyway, not a fan of Dakich, I think he's a unlikable blowhard, but his show was entertaining. Venturi, I do like and value most of what he says but haven't listened to Indy colt  podcast/radio much lately...... I don't really need too as the colts do what colts do.

  11. I would LOVE to see Ballard fired. I would really enjoy that like I did seeing Reich go because I really, really dislike both of them.

Do I think firing him will make a difference? Not really.... the NFL is what it is and the colts play their part in it. Not much would probably change regardless.
