    Yes, it's a new year with a new schedule. That said, it's still only March. I try to be the "cup is half full," while some are the "cup is half full (or completely empty)" type. A goal for all should be "homeostasis." Look it up, folks.

    Last season the team lost DB's due to injury, and was a very young, inexperienced group. Please dispense with the Chicken Little stuff...at least until week 6, or so.

    Not so sure about "failing." The team had a winning record and was potentially one terrible throw from the backup QB away from winning the division. The team roster is not horrible - it's likely 3 positions away from being even more competitive than in 2023. As George Constanza said to the beached whale..."Easy Big Fella."

Now, for the next iteration of "With this Pick" - if there is an actual episode of the draft selections - for the love of everything...please don't show all the phone calls to the draftees. Pointless, predictable and a waste of time and effort. <Mic Drop>

    The Sneed situation is simply an example of an agent and player using another team to get more $$ out of the current organization. I don’t for a minute believe he has any intention of moving from KC. On.to.the.draft.

    I traveled from NC for that Caldwell-Infused last minute loss to the Jets in 2011. Slept in a chair in the airport for my early-morning return flight home. That was rough.

    I was the CO for the Army Aviation Element there during 1995-96. Flew UH60 Blackhawks. Best job I had in 27+ years of service.

    Surely you jest, sir. I will never forget it. I was an Army helicopter pilot. We had flown from Honduras to Belize for a mission, OTW back to Honduras we landed near a small beach resort and went into their lounge to eat and watch that game. I was the ONLY Colts fan in the vicinity. Crushing loss, sad and quiet flight from there back to our base in Hondo.
