  1. I think we should let Ballard decide. If he does let Pagano go, the new coach would likely build his own staff. I cant think of many new HCs that have kept a majority of the old staff that just sent the last guy packing. The only way Pagano stays is if the Colts win a lot of games going forward, which would make it likely he would retain everyone possible.

Let's just skip to mascot gladiatorial combat... it gets my vote.

Yes! I always loved seeing blue and the mascots stiff arm and juke children in the halftime peewee vs mascot bowl. A gladiator show down would be awesome. Also loved when blue would run over a fake mascot of the opponent with an atv.

To me, the definition of being a Colts fan is to see the Colts succeed, and ultimately win the Superbowl.  It is quite evident that the power of the spoken word and the thoughts of winning a game are real.  Yes, I'm talking about T.Y. Hilton's statement recently and in the past.  So here is my challenge.  I challenge every true colts fan to set in their minds to know we will win the Superbowl this year.  Despite your opinion on players, coaches, etc. set that aside.  Open your minds, and put all doubt aside; know that we will win.  I guarantee if we come together as Colts Nation to know we will win, we will.....win.  Of course nobody can make you do anything you do not want to do, but again, if the point of being a Colts fan is to see them succeed and ultimately win the Superbowl, let's do this.  WE ARE THE 12th MAN.  We have the advantage!

I go into every season having something along those lines in my head. Maybe more of you believing would help lol.

Side note, oddly enough i agree with Stephen A here. Several here are wanting to go the Kellerman route it seems... Only Andrew knows how far off from practicing he truly is, but if he can return around mid season we may still have a chance. Many have pointed out we could have identical records across the division if we win, along with division rivals losing loseable games.

  5. Too many here are throwing in the flag already on the season. Call me an optimist but the first few weeks of the season is an extension of the preseason. Last year after the first few weeks Philly looked like a superbowl pick. Throw in the fact we may get healthier as the season goes on, along with our division rivals issues I can see a late season push. Who knows but its definetly too early to be thinking of a lost season after two losses IMO. Getting Kelly and Davis back can make a big difference, fingers crossed about Luck. If we can just stay alive in our weak division until Lucks available, we will have a chance. I hope he is practicing by at least week 4 to maybe have him go week 6-7. If not removing him from PUP was a misjudgment by the staff.

Needs to sit down and pave the way for Mack.  Gore is holding up space, he can stay with the Colts as a running back coach.  But I say give Mac a chance to be the full time back.....Gore's 40+ yards per game isn't NFL standards....

IMO Gore has been a consistent contributor. If he takes a modest contract i can see one more year.

Offense in both games would have been much better with Kap

Too expensive. Pass. He maybe i repeat maybe would have played better. No way for anyone to know though. Still i would rather save the cap space even if it costs a win or two.

  8. Perhaps it has to due with a limited route tree and the qbs limited playbook. Yet still, I would have liked them to have Gores pure determination. I feel he is the real leader on offense at this point, and still several thought we should cut bait now. I am about as encouraged from a loss as I can be. The thread is relevant because we do need those two receivers to step it up with our current Qb situation.

Fans want o compete with the likes of Belichick but would say no to Rex as a D.C.  Only in Indy........

This franchise has been in love with the nice guy staffing. I wouldnt mind him as a DC, at least he is creative and less predictable than our current DC. Sometimes i feel our coaches are going off of the coaching for dumbies book Coach Cline used in The Waterboy.

With Butler hurt we may get good look at what Hooker can do.

Trial by fire. We drafted him for his range and instincts, hope it shows on Sunday. Obviously there will be some bad angles but even a flash of potential may be an upgrade at the position. Butler did not play as well as times last year.

    Blame Irsay.

Irsay has fostered this toxic culture of mistrust.  If Ballard is GM and he doesn't want Pagano as HC then he should hire the HC he wants.  What good is it if Ballard and Pagano are not on the same page.  There is no reason for TJ Green to start any game at CB over Quincy Wilson.  That is just laughable, I don't care if Wilson is a rookie, unless he's injured he's a better CB at this point in time than TJ Green.

As for the offensive line, who knows what's happening there.  From the little of the game I did watch it looked like Tolzien had time and Gore had some creases.  It looked a lot more solid than most of the games last season, so it's a start.

If possible watch the whole game. I definetly would not call that product an improvement over any game last year. There was a decent run defense, but that may have been due to their success through the air. It is possible for a different team to look good running on us while we take their qb out of the game. If anything it would be classic Pagano coaching. Focus soley on a weakness, while weakening a strength.
