    Trade is confirmed.

With the 34h pick of the 2019 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns select Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma

Talk about a star struck WR corp

    @w87r is on the clock

Can't say I'd be happy about this one if I were a Browns fan. Someone like Erik McCoy would have made a lot more sense IMO (Replacement for Zeitler). You've already got a WR core or Beckam, Landry, Callaway, and Higgins. Ricardo Louis could still be a guy as well. This was a luxury pick that the Browns needed to be an instant impact pick.

That's what the Colts are looking for. They aren't looking for a guy to replace Mack.

They are looking for a guy who can compliment him.  And I don't think they are looking to spend first round dollars to do that.  We're talking about a guy who the high for his career is 640 yards. I think he's got a good skill set but I think they view him as a good compliment to the committee we already have.  Why?  Because that's what he's been a committe runner.

I'm not really trying to argue that the Colts might draft him in the first round. I think another team will. And when you have guys like Najee Harris, Damien Harris, and Josh Jacobs on your roster, of course you are going to run a committee backfield.

Hes a good #2 committe back. The ranking is irrelevant to me.

If you are viewing him as a "#2 committee back" then I can see how there is no way you could see him going 1st round. I guess we just view the tape differently, where I see a three down back with tremendous upside.

They are looking at this guy because they know he aint going in the first round.

I don't know if the Raiders pass on him twice in the twenties.  I am currently compiling a composite big board using all of the big boards I can find and Jacobs worst rating so far is #29 overall.  Now I know that only real teams big board's matter but I think it's a pretty good sign that he ends up going first round. I highly doubt he goes top ten but I'm willing to bet he goes in the 20's.

. I pay attention to those not because I value Kiper's scouting eye, but because he does have connections and it might be something that he's hearing(not specifically with the Colts, but in general about what teams think of it...

Way to pick up on that. I 100% agree on your assumption here. I was thinking McLaurin was going to be a steal in day three but now that thought may be out the window.

I actually think Ferrell has more potential than those guys.

This is the beauty of this mock draft. We have 32 GMs here (well a few less really) and that means 32 different big boards. Unless a few people are just using one particular website's rankings of course. I'm currently compiling a composite big board using all of the draft sites I can find. It's quite the project but it should be pretty interesting when it's finally finished.

There are question marks on both Rashan Gary and Montez Sweat who’d be the top 2 DEs at that point. Jonah Williams has the possibility of being a cornerstone player for their OL that needs help, especially once Arians’ 7-step drop offense comes to town, IMO.

I like Jonah Williams but he has question marks himself. Tampa has been missing a star pass rusher for years and two potential stars were staring them in the face.

Nasa pen? I had to listen to a six minute video for that? C'mon man! Lol I'm just messing with you. Player comps are one of my favorite things about the draft. And for the record Lance Zierlien is not good at it. In the video they brought up names like Brandin Cooks and Tyreek Hill, Cooks seems like a fairly accurate comp to me. And they are right not to compare him to Welker, Edelmann, and Amendola because they just not his game.

One guy, I forget his name at the money, said way back last fall that this class offensively looks a lot like the 2013 draft, which was the worse draft class in the last decade statistically speaking.

This very well could be true, but only time will tell. If you're looking for star power on offense, the 2020 and 2021 classes are loaded to the gills. This current class has been billed as the defensive class for quite some time and rightfully so IMO.

The Colts scouts reportedly had interest in Dexter Lawrence at his pro day.  He is reported to maybe be available where the Colts pick.  That would be my favorite at this point.  If not him then Tillery from ND.

I hope they are targeting Lawrence. He's the guy I want at #26 if he's there. I wouldn't mind Tillery as a consolation prize either.

Oh I would love OBJ.  LOVE.

But there is no way in hell Ballard ever does that.

He is way way way too cocky about his ability to find homegrown talent.  He would never trade for a stud like OBJ....after all....he didn't draft him.

Of course you would crawl out from under the bridge a spew hate on a Ballard move.
