  1. I pretty much knew yesterday. I even posted back on Tuesday, that Thursday was the big day. When he wasn't out there yesterday, it was pretty clear.
  2. The rookies are getting experience though, it is good for them to know how life in the NFL isn't all roses. All 3 rookies from Young to Stroud to AR will learn.
  3. It might, Minshew is streaky great sometimes. He reminds me of Fitzpatrick. He is either on fire good or he is bad.
  4. Look at the bright side, we have a good backup. We could be Carolina and be rolling out a washed up Andy Dalton who hasn't been good for 5 years . I would take Mustache over him any day right now.
  5. I don't know this for a fact but I am guessing if this was a playoff game, AR would play. Just a gut feeling I have from knowing how the NFL operates over the last 45 years.
  6. No. It is probably the right decision.
  7. If AR is held out, I am sure it is precautionary. With all the emphasis that has been put on concussions the last few years and the whole Tua situation, we probably are playing it safe. What is sad is, many in the media would probably be critical of us playing him after what happened to Tua. Everyone is different and AR's injury didn't look near as bad as Tua's did. On Monday, he was spotted out in public walking around. If someone has a major concussion, they aren't doing that the next day. They are laying in a dark quiet room somewhere - any doctor would tell anyone that. I have been concussed before and after it happened, I rested for 2 or 3 days and then I was fine. I wasn't out walking around that is for sure.
  8. I would even consider 2015-now lean years. Comparing it to what we accomplished from 2003-2014 with a SB win in 2006 and a SB App in 2009. I love this post because I am a baseball fan as well. Some in here were so spoiled from 2003-2014, most probably didn't even realize this stat. Great, insightful post! Here is another stat which ranks us among the top 5 teams in NFL history in a period of 1 decade winning% wise, with at least 1 SB win (10 seasons) = 2005-2014. From 2005-2014: W/L = 110-50 69% winning's Won the SB in 2006
  9. Andy Dalton - Frank should have stayed retired. Seattle is about to put the smack down on them.
  10. The only thing that will make believe again is, if we sweep Colorado. We need all 3 and we should win all 3, they stink. Knowing my luck, Kris Bryant will beat us with a grand slam or something. He is still a good player.
  11. Yeah he looked fine to me at the end of his game, was walking OK, etc.. AR's injury is legit, he hit his head.
  12. The rookies are taking their lumps and there is Levis just holding a clipboard lol.
  13. I can't even believe Andy Dalton is still playing. I thought he would retire at the end of last year - dude is washed. Frank's team is a mess. I am starting to think we got lucky AR was there at #4. I guess Stroud has a shoulder problem as well but expected to play as of now.
  14. Bryce Young has been ruled out for Week 3 and the rumor now is, he may miss Week 4 due to an ankle injury. Per: Sports Illustrated.
  15. From 2012-2014, there were not many QB's that have ever played this game better than Luck did. His stats and wins back that up + he won games with no running game and a bad O.Line.
  16. Glad to see he is doing well. He is happy and although his sudden retirement set us back 5 years, and the way he retired would make anyone upset, he did bring us many great moments. IMO, he still remains the 2nd greatest QB in Indianapolis history, 3rd if you factor in Baltimore = 1. Peyton, 2. Unitas, 3. Luck. People can hate the guy for the way he retired but it is real hard to debate that Luck wasn't the 3rd best QB the Colts franchise as a whole has ever had. Key Accolades: Holds the record for most passing yards for a rookie = 2012, 4374 yards. He has 4 playoffs wins. By comparison, Bert Jones never won a playoff game. He was 53-33 as a starter. When he started, we won 62% of our games. He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. -The Captain Andrew thing, is hilarious IMO. Hope he, his wife, and 2 kids live a long/happy life.
  17. Yeah you were better off not seeing that call. It made my blood pressure rise. I am ok this morning and to the point where I am not going to let these games bother me anymore. We just aren't playing good right now so if we miss the playoffs, it will be disappointing but not shocking.
  18. Ross is a better man than me, I would have blown a gasket after that call. That would have been a guy on and nobody out. Instead 1 out and nobody on. It wasn't just that call. This went on all night but that call was a back breaker.
