  1. You are 55-38, you missed picking a game in Week 1, so that is a loss.
  2. A tie is just a tie. But if you miss picking a game completely it is a loss. Lets say the Browns and Colts tie, and in the rest of your games you go 6-6, then you would be 6-6-1 for example.
  3. You are 60-33, you missed picking a game. I forgot which week it was but @w87rbrought to my attention a while back. You are only 1 game behind me, WOW! I am 61-32.
  4. If Watson plays that may benefit us, he could be rusty and really hasn't played well all season.
  5. In the 1920's they would dominate, I had too sorry
  6. Only concern I really have is, can AR stay healthy for at least a nice stretch of games. I think everyone is probably concerned about that though . I agree.
  7. I was going to say the same thing, something looked off with both. 93 games have been played, I am 61-32.
  8. I am not saying Caleb won't be a good Pro, maybe even a great Pro but to me he hasn't look as good as good as Penix or Nix. There have been some that say Caleb is the best QB they have ever seen on a college level. I don't agree with that at all. Andrew Luck, Deshawn Watson, Joe Burrow, and Trevor Lawrence all looked better in college going by recent QB's. Almost every time that Caleb has went up a great defense, he has looked average. I can even go back to the Utah games last year and ND game last week was a disaster. Wait until he plays Washington and Oregon.
  9. This the 1st year in a while where I have watched college football closely. I used to watch it all the time in the 80's and 90's and really up until we drafted we Luck. I will say this with a straight face, I have watched several games from the Pac-12 and Caleb doesn't look as good as Michael Penix or Bo Nix. I am not saying those guys will be better Pro's but they have looked better from a passing point in a Pro Style offense even. Washington and Oregon both look like Pro teams with those guys at QB.
  10. Lawrence said he was going to try to give it a go but even if he does, he won't be 100%. I would rest him and not risk further injury. Mainly because they do have the lead in the division anyway. There backup is bad though.
  11. I said 8 before the season but I can see 9, if we win this week. and I think we will.
  12. The tide is about to turn this week. Jags are going down tonight and we are going to win on Sunday. Both teams will be 4-3. They do have the tiebreaker but a tougher schedule than we do from here on out.
  13. You copied my post as I was correcting it, I even added more
  14. 1. Anthony Richardson played a lot better than most of the Debbie Downers expected. The Debbie's didn't think he would be anywhere near completing 60% of his passes. He was at 59.5%. 2. Anthony Richardson only had 2 Turnovers (1 INT, 1 Fumble), most of the Debbie's thought he would be a turnover machine because of his lack of experience in college. 3. Anthony Richardson was outplaying CJ Stroud in their only meeting before AR left the game. 4. Anthony Richardson had 4 Rushing TD's in 4 games! 5. Colts are 3-3, most of the Debbie's had us at 1-5 through 6 games. I know this by the way they were they were picking weekly on these threads. 6. Our schedule is favorable now and Mustache doesn't play another very good to great QB all year with the exception of Joe Burrow (Stroud is good but a rookie, far from great). As of now if one went by QBR like some like to do, Burrow is playing like Curtis Painter . This means we could very well 9 games if things go our way and get into the playoffs. 7. JT has the rust off now after 2 games and is due to have a huge game, lets how great the Browns defense really is when they go up against our run game? Advantage us IMO with Moss factored in. By the way I used the word MOST for a reason. Using ALL would be inaccurate.
  15. Matt Stafford too and he won a SB in his 13th season
  16. Mainly, the people that did not want us to draft AR are coming up with everything imaginable to justify why we shouldn't have taken him. From the 4 games I have seen him play, he looked above average to me. My only worry is, can he stay healthy?
  17. What a great week. We get creamed down in Jacksonville, we lose AR for the season, we lose Grover for 6 games, and now this = these ugly uniforms.
  18. Let me ask you this, I know you will answer me honestly. Do you think Joe Burrow is a top 5 QB in the league? Do you think he is the 26th best QB in the league?
  19. Regarding the Browns, the 49ers played without Deebo and McCaffrey in the 2nd Half. That is their 2 best offensive players and they even missed a chip shot FG for the win. Had Deebo and McCaffrey played, the Browns would have lost by at least 10 points. That win was tainted.
  20. Yeah after we win this week, he won't post all week and the people saying we should tank will once again look silly . It's a week to week league. Last week Dallas looked like a bunch of CowPatties vs the 49ers, this past week everyone says they are a top 5 in the league again since they won at LA. Too many people are way too fickle and overreact to 1 loss.
  21. I really don't know how to explain it to you, of course his QBR is 26th right now because he has struggled, so yes that particular stats is factual as of today regarding Burrow. The misleading thing is, he is a lot better than being the 26th best QB. Has he played good this year - no, but anyone that follows football would still rank him in the top 5 QB's in the league. A few bad games does not mean he is who the QB he is. That is about the only way I can explain it. If you disagree with me that is fine because I can't find a way to explain it any better lol. Bottomline is, I just think using 1 thing to measure how good a QB is, doesn't tell the whole story. One thing I have learned from stats people is, they never factor in a QB's presence/leadership, fear factor, or clutch factor - those things do not show up on a stat sheet. It is just all about stats. I am even a stats guy to an extent, but I would take Joe Montana over Drew Brees all-time and that would be an easy decision but statistically by almost any measure, Brees was better. No matter how I explain things I doubt you will get my point, but I tried.
  22. Joe Burrow has struggled but you know as well as I do by the end of the season he and his team will make the playoffs. In reality he isn't the 26th best QB in the league. My point is, stats can be misleading as can QBR. I just think someone that says AR isn't good because his QBR is 45 is a little misleading. That is just my opinion. I am not trying to knock your opinion but a lot of different factors determine how good a QB is.
