  1. I have bashed ESPN for a while now. I thought it started to go downhill around 10 years ago. During the 80's, 90's, and really up to around 2013ish it was the best thing since sliced bread. Then they started getting rid of their great employees around 2014 and it has kept going and going. It used to be a total sports network, then it started to turn into a political dumpster fire around 2017 as well and had got worse up until recently. They even got rid of their best show = Mike and Mike who was on for 17 years in 2017. I was a chat member at ESPN like I am here from (2009- 2013, and ESPN even got rid of letting people chat in 2013. I had thousands of posts on topics about Football, Basketball, and Baseball. During the Colts 2009 season, I was on every game thread. Once they did away that, it really pee'd me off! Ok I got that out of the way, now I love the Pat McAfee show. It is a breath of fresh air, they let him say whatever he feels and he talks about the key sports topics non-stop. + he does give the Colts some coverage as well. They even let him cuss . He has the best show going now on ESPN and it isn't even close IMO .
  2. Steelers are always hard to pick against. They are so up and down and win games out of the blue you don't think they will win. I do think the Rams have the better team though and they are at home. I like your pick.
  3. I voted Eagles. I think the Dolphins are playing better but I don't see the Eagles losing 2 in a row, especially being at home. Go Saints tonight!
  4. What is funny, is I wanted Jim Schwartz at the end of last season. Even posted it in here.
  5. I think he will end up being good, whether he ends up great only time will tell. He has stay healthy though to even be good. Next season will tell us a lot.
  6. These are the standings for a few of us so far: I think these are correct, 1. 2006 = 61-32 2. Moe = 60-33 3. w87r = 57-36 chad72 = 57-36 Chrisaaron = 57-36 (3 way tie for 3rd) 4. coltsva = 56-37 5. RollerColt = 55-38 EasyE = 55-38 (tie here between Easy and RC for 5th) @Moe, we both have the Saints tonight. Lawrence is playing but I still got the Saints.
  7. You are 55-38, you missed picking a game in Week 1, so that is a loss.
  8. A tie is just a tie. But if you miss picking a game completely it is a loss. Lets say the Browns and Colts tie, and in the rest of your games you go 6-6, then you would be 6-6-1 for example.
  9. You are 60-33, you missed picking a game. I forgot which week it was but @w87rbrought to my attention a while back. You are only 1 game behind me, WOW! I am 61-32.
  10. If Watson plays that may benefit us, he could be rusty and really hasn't played well all season.
  11. In the 1920's they would dominate, I had too sorry
  12. Only concern I really have is, can AR stay healthy for at least a nice stretch of games. I think everyone is probably concerned about that though . I agree.
  13. I was going to say the same thing, something looked off with both. 93 games have been played, I am 61-32.
  14. I am not saying Caleb won't be a good Pro, maybe even a great Pro but to me he hasn't look as good as good as Penix or Nix. There have been some that say Caleb is the best QB they have ever seen on a college level. I don't agree with that at all. Andrew Luck, Deshawn Watson, Joe Burrow, and Trevor Lawrence all looked better in college going by recent QB's. Almost every time that Caleb has went up a great defense, he has looked average. I can even go back to the Utah games last year and ND game last week was a disaster. Wait until he plays Washington and Oregon.
  15. This the 1st year in a while where I have watched college football closely. I used to watch it all the time in the 80's and 90's and really up until we drafted we Luck. I will say this with a straight face, I have watched several games from the Pac-12 and Caleb doesn't look as good as Michael Penix or Bo Nix. I am not saying those guys will be better Pro's but they have looked better from a passing point in a Pro Style offense even. Washington and Oregon both look like Pro teams with those guys at QB.
  16. Lawrence said he was going to try to give it a go but even if he does, he won't be 100%. I would rest him and not risk further injury. Mainly because they do have the lead in the division anyway. There backup is bad though.
  17. I said 8 before the season but I can see 9, if we win this week. and I think we will.
  18. The tide is about to turn this week. Jags are going down tonight and we are going to win on Sunday. Both teams will be 4-3. They do have the tiebreaker but a tougher schedule than we do from here on out.
  19. You copied my post as I was correcting it, I even added more
