  1. I think last week he was just nervous going back to Jacksonville and he was trying to hard, thinking too much. He is having fun today.
  2. Their first score was a fluke, just a missed assignment. Watson even looked bad on his 1st pass. Let's see what they do here.
  3. That is how you respond! 7-7, new game. Glad we get the ball at the Half too.
  4. We have Spero and Adam again. I think they are a part of the Colts family.
  5. I know you were being funny but I actually wish we would blitz more on 3rd down.
  6. I have been to around 50 Colts home games in my time from 1987-2013. The only road game I ever went to was in 2004 at Soldier Field. It is a nice stadium. The Colts smoked them, it was a fun day.
  7. The media treats him like Superman. I just don't see it. I think he will probably be a good Pro but he hasn't shown me anything to say, this guy is going to be great and dominate. When Luck came out I knew he would be very good to great.
  8. -I went 11-20 -I went 11-20 -Colts win -Run Heavy Colts win 20-17.
  9. Caleb Williams loses again against a ranked team and yes we can blame him because here was his stats: 256 yards passing = good but nothing eye popping, 0 TDs, 10 carries for 27 yards and 1 TD. Utah won at USC as well.
  10. I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with me, that is what the forum is for. Plenty disagree with the JT extension. With me it isn't about defending a player because he plays for the Colts, it is about defending a player that is great. I defended Barkley, he isn't a Colt but he is a great RB.
  11. I have tried to explain over and over again, that yes RB by committee is smart but in order to do that, you need a very good- great QB to get away with having 2 above average backs splitting time. Like the Colts had in 2006 with Addai and Rhodes. Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Hurts, Lamar, Tua are QB's you can get away with not having at least one good-great RB because those QB's are very-great. In the past Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, and Brees could always get away with RB by committee because they were/are Hall of Fame QB's.
  12. Maybe so but I was here every day and there were some pretty upset people that we signed JT to a new deal. There were even a few that wanted us to trade him for like a 4th round pick while he still wasn't extended. With me, I want to make it clear, I am not defending JT because he is a Colt. I post that because I have been accused of defending Colts players in the past because they play for us. I just really believe at worse he is a top 3 RB in the league is why I defend the signing. I thought it was the right thing to do for the Giants to extend Barkley and I don't even like the Giants. Barkley is top 5 IMO.
  13. There were plenty of posters in here that were butthurt that we signed JT. Several posters wanted him traded and several posters were constantly talking about how the RB is irrelevant in today's game. My post wasn't really even directed at you this time. I think it was smart signing him considering he is arguably the best RB in the league and only 24. It is only for 3 years anyway + Moss is going to want to get paid and will probably go elsewhere after the season.
  14. Almost every coach goes for it on 4th and short. It just isn't Shane. Having said that, he has taken 3 quite a bit. He did against the Ravens all game and we won. The only 4th down where he went for it, and we didn't get it that stood out was in the Tennessee game at the end of the 1st Half. We should have taken the 3 there. We still won that game though, so it really didn't hurt us in the end.
