I think my brain can't handle it anymore after tonight's debate crap show. :argh:

It took Kaine until the very end to start bringing up the history of homophobia and anti-women's rights and outright bigotry of Pence and Trump, when he should've been nailing them from the very beginning, not waiting until the final 20 minutes. Ughhhhhh, I feel like this was screwed up from the get go.

I'd rather discuss Stone Hands right now than what I just witnessed. Holy crap that was bad. Kaine IMO messed this up.

I am kinda sick so I forgot about the debate. lmao  Ugh. Heading to bed soon. I was watching preseason NBA. lmao Knicks and Rockets......

      Okay......Stone Hands for President!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good news about the debate - it wasn't good enough to give Trump a jump in polls. Trump pretty much has killed any opportunity he's had of making this a close race, when he bashed soldiers with PTSD and mental problems. And Joe Biden slammed him for it. Kaine should've been doing that in the debates, but I do expect Hillary to bring it up in the next debate.

  2. 1-3 is the new 4-0.

Have a good one, sorry the Colts lost! At least we had some funny stuff in today's NFL.

I am ok with them losing, I actually do not want to make the playoffs.

Yeah a lot is funny at least and now after a tough day the league gives me the Giants and Vikings to watch, sigh. I hate both teams.

Guess what now members of my fanbase are "protesting" the Colts.

  4. Been watching the Saints. This game is bizarre so far. Hope the Saints pull it out but so far it looks like it will be a long tough game.

I am exhausted now. I swear watching the Saints is like climbing into a washing machine and going through one cycle and then getting out all disheveled. This team is tiring. lmao

They are easier to watch and follow on game center on NFL.com where they should just type "Saints just gave up BIG AZZZ play.......".

That is precisely accurate how I feel. Saints games have become so EXHAUSTING...Gone are the days that we were a "fun team" to watch. The fun days were when Brees could go all Dan Marino out there with big numbers and we actually win games, and not be stuck watching them lose in bad ways.

I can't get over looking at Brees numbers to this game and the fact we lost so bad. Even though he had a pick, I do not want to harshly criticize him here, cause he did show up and try to win.

I'm getting some rest since the cold meds are knocking me out, have a good night Jules! I'll be around tomorrow evening

I hope they win and all but this is going to be a long tough game.

  6. Hey, who do you think has the biggest and best bad azzz 1-2 team on the block? WE DO. I mean look at us, proving da doubters wrong too and the bad media people. We are rockin and rolling.......up next the Jags in London who HAVE NO CHANCE. We own the Jags and London is our second home.

Pats are gonna get creamed by us if we make the playoffs. No doubt about it. We are going to nail Brady to the wall.......

HOW ARE THE SAINTS DOING!!!!!!!! CAN THEY WIN TOMORROW. HOW ARE THE SAINTS? AREN'T YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE SAINTS?

Listen to Saint Dungy...he LIKES Dak Prescott :excited:

Oh boy, imagine if Dungy had Dak back on those old Tampa Bay teams. He would have finally had a quarterback. No need to bounce the Dilfer-King-Johnson train of mediocrity.

*The Browns come so close...so close to winning in what was an old-school 1980's style matchup, that looked like the football ghosts of Bernie Kosar and Dan Marino were going at it head to head. But God hates the Browns, so BAM, they lose in the end.

Or maybe the Browns are Job?

*Carson Palmer with 4 or 5 interceptions today. Someone simply didn't want him winning today, and that's his fault because....some reason. Rex Ryan needs more time just like Saul needed the rest of an entire book before finally meeting his end.

The powers in the sky want the Pats to do in Rex Ryan next weekend. Since the Pats are Satan's chosen team.

*Rams/Bucs; what in the hell was wrong with this game? So many times, both of those teams could have ended it. But like a book that constantly flip flops and adds filler, that game went on and went on and went on, even though it was pretty much over once the Rams got a 10 point lead early on.

And there was that odd weather delay in this game too.

Also, I think San Diego keeps losing players to injury. Whats up with that?

But, why are the Vikings and Broncos being favored?

I could tell you the sky is blue and Bogie could tell you it's green and you would take his side or beat around the bush and say Grigson sucks eventhough that wasn't the topic. Anyway thanks for the shoutout regarding my Rams prediction, much appreciated. Have a nice sleep, chat with you tomorrow.

You're making this a little too personal I'm afraid...

You think you're 100% right, you clearly said it...You could be wrong. It happens. I'm wrong about stuff all the time. If you want to laugh, I picked the Dolphins in an upset win and they stunk it up down 24-0 early. I also had Oakland over Atlanta, and lost that one too (And now I have to be scared of Julio Jones vs my crappy team's defense for next week). I think a LOT of folks right now are feeling the blues over being high on Jacksonville during the summer. It happens. We can't always be right. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss.

BTW, you said it yourself that Irsay needs to look into another GM. Here's your quote just to remind you. You backtracked on this, the minute I criticized contract.

      Quote

@Jules, Irsay may want to go out and look for a new Coach or GM. When we lost to the Lions that screwed us because today's game made it a must win. We played our hearts out but their Defense is just nasty. We had chances to win even that is what is frustrating!

If you want to defend the contract, I don't care. That's your opinion and that's cool. I seen this before though with Brees and seen it with Flacco in Baltimore, and the contracts did kill those teams and this makes matters even worse being Grigson has done nothing to build a competitive team. It's well known the problems this team has, that they can't protect Luck. If I were a Colts fan, I would be scared to hell and back right now after I seen footage of yesterday's game. They have done nothing to build an offensive line to protect him. All that money to a QB, and he's taking beatings like that, I hope he don't get injured again and yesterday's footage was scary enough. Luck went through hell last year with injuries, I would hate to see it happen again.

When a team is losing, they're open to criticism. I'll use my team as an example; Saints fans do not like you to criticize Payton and Loomis. But, we've finished 7-9 the past two years, have an aging Hall of Fame quarterback approaching his twilight years and still performing at a great level, yet we're 0-2 and back on the road to finishing 7-9 again. They deserve the criticism right now cause we are a losing franchise, and it's a shame that we're wasting away Brees' last years while he's still putting up great performances.

Don't get mad at me for saying this team is horribly run. My opinion shouldn't bother you, as I don't get paid for it. If you check around other NFL fan bases, I can assure you that non-Colts fans don't really look too positively on how this organization is run (and to be fair on this, same for my Saints, a lot of non-Saints fans don't look positively at Loomis and Payton). When that contract happened, I knew it would be a problem. A lot of fans, were SHOCKED that Irsay brought Grigson back after the disaster from last year. Pats fans aren't the only ones that know this team has huge problems at the top, and because they can see this, does not make them haters. I've wanted Luck to succeed since day 1, but I realize that this is not the same organization it was 10 years ago. I don't know how anyone could hate Luck, cause off the field, he's a likable kid with progressive ideals, which makes him more likable than most. This team was blessed for years having Tony Dungy as a coach and Polian as a GM. If Dungy was still around, I would have faith in this team. That man is a saint in my book and I'll forever defend Dungy.

For the record; Jules don't agree with me on everything. We've disagreed hundreds of times over the years, especially when it comes to the Saints or Colts, and of course; New England. You can ask her, for years, I never trusted the Patriots to win a 4th Super Bowl and she proved me wrong on that. But it's for fun, nothing personal. If she wanted to, she could easily brag about proving me wrong on NE or Baltimore, or other AFC teams that I occasionally am totally wrong about.

It's not personal at all with me, it's just fun debate to me. I did say "may" want to go out and look into a new GM or Coach. The key word was "may". Obviously if we start 0-4 or 0-5 then you have to wonder if this team should. I have never said Grigson nor Pagano are Great and have even been critical of them at times. I dont think they are the worst either like many say on this forum. When the team loses I am critical of players that play bad as well. I am not mad at you at all. It's just a sports message board. I honestly think this forum just goes way overboard with the criticism of the team when we lose which is silly to me. I get upset when we lose but I am not the type that bashes our team 24/7 like some on here do. Does no good to do so and brings negative vibes to the Site. Stuff I really don't care to read. Regarding Jules, I like her and have never had any problems with her. All I did was is make a fair statement in saying when it comes to you and I she always agree with you. She may disagree with you on certain subjects but when us 3 chat she sides with you pretty much everytime and I am ok with it. When I made the sky reference it was a joke more than anything. I will stick to my opinion on Luck's contract, we had to re-sign him, he is a franchise QB and one of the faces of the NFL and he is young. If he was in the 30's and hadn't won a SB by then I would agree with you that his contract wouldn't be deserved. He is only in year 5 what a lot of people aren't getting either. It took Peyton 9 years to win a SB. Some Colts fans on this forum need to quit being spoiled and have a little patience.

    4. Jules

I'm tired tonight, had a long day with a lot of stuff. I really don't have the energy to continue this discussion a lot. So we can move on eventually. I am not mad at anyone either.

For the record, Bogie and I have had disagreements and fights even over the years. Maybe it is not public so everyone can watch it like a soap opera for fun. But, it has happened with disagreements over sports and non sport related things too.

For the record Luck is kinda over paid based on never being a SB winner or MVP,  but we all knew it was going to happen. And he probably could have gotten big money as well on another team. But, the problem is I do feel sorry for Luck as well. I love the guy but he has never had the top level management and coaching he truly deserves. Coming out of college we all knew he had the potential to be one of the best in the league but sadly he has been beaten like a drum here on the field.

Saints are even in a more sorry situation and Bogie could tell you this since Brees is still playing at an elite level but his coach and management has gone full lunatic. They cut good players from the team and can't win close games to save their lives.

Both Luck and Brees deserve better, period. I can't change my mind on that. The Chiefs would probably win the AFC with either QB at the helm.

I mean look at how good our o line used to be once and how easy it used to be:

      Look at that hole.......

Thats what people need to remember too, we used to have a lot going for us that was not just Peyton Manning. We had coaches, management.........players.....everything. And yes I realize some don't want to hear criticisms and to say "be patient" but I really do doubt that Pagano/Grigson can ever build anything around Luck as good as Polian/Dungy once did. Sorry but thats the truth.

  8. Andrew Luck and Drew Brees today combined for 8 TDs and no interceptions. And both lose.

    Very sad.

  9. Tonight I saw "Don't breathe" in the theater. Creepy movie and not my usual type, but I strangely enjoyed it. Scary and kinda psychological. What was odd to me was the man in the film eerily reminded me of Jim Irsay in looks in a bizarre way and the movie takes place in Detroit who we play this weekend.

I take that back about Britney's team. They DO know what they're doing, but they just play everything safe. Gone are the days of her really pushing the boundaries with stuff like the Womanizer video (what the original Make Me video had similarities to). They just go the safe route and for an easy pay check. Vegas gigs for someone of her caliber is an easy paycheck.

  10. Was watching Pats/Panthers. Cam Newton looked horrible. And so does Jimmy G aka "the backup for 4 games". The Pats offense got going when Brady went in there at the end of the first and zipped down the field fast. I am not sure why they put Brady in since I would think the backup needed all the work he can get against starters?

What a tough season to pick teams, I don't want to get influenced by preseason either.......

I never have had such a tough offseason trying to pick SB teams LOL.

Luck looks healthy enough and he can still play. I would just let the line work itself out in the 4th game with a backup.

I know the D is going to suck until we can get back a few guys like Cro and even Patrick Robinson who I know Bogie hates from the Saints but he is at least a veteran with experience who tries hard.

Peter Gabriel had a lot of songs on Miami Vice. 'Rhythm of the Heat' and 'Biko' were in the episode Evan. But that record right there, 'So' was a monster hit album during the show's prime. Half of that entire album is all used in season 3 - Red Rain, Sledgehammer, Do What We're Told, Mercy Street, Big Time - all those songs are in season 3 in various episodes.

I am not sure how many basketballs they can play with at once on that stupid Warriors team, but they are going to need many.

Stuff all over the rumorville online that Dwayne Wade might be in talks to join up with Lebron again, in Cleveland.

Rumors, but they are saying the Cavs are following Wade and his wife now on social media too. lmao

AND.......the Heats offer is lower then what Wade wants.

      Just omg if this happens.

      OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!

Nevermind, premature. I heard he may sign with the Bulls. Sigh. Boring.

Cavs don't have a lot of extra money either.......

Man, I kinda miss the NBA right now being on all the time.

  17. Happy 4th of July everyone!

  18. NBA finals chat!

The old one got so long it needs it's own zip code now. Starting a new one for the finals only.

So far a tough game one for the Cavs on the road.

Kevin Love btw is the nephew of Brian Love of the Beach Boys. lmao

You heard it here first, Cavs will not only Repeat, they will 3-Peat. How's that for a bold prediction. The writing is on the wall. Everyone that rooted for the Cavs this season will get at least 2 more so enjoy the NBA sucking for the next 2 years because nobody will come close to beating the Cavs. This isn't a 1 and done deal unless the team breaks up. If it was a 1 and done deal than I would've really rooted for the Cavs hard. LeBron ends up with 5 Championships just like Magic and Kobe but at that point most will say he's the best ever, even over Jordan. I have watched this sport for nearly 40 years and if they keep their same team together I will guarantee a Repeat at worse. LeBron is still in his prime, and has capabilities like Jordan and Magic. Kyrie and Love both are young. The only way they wont win it again is if Durant goes to the Warriors or Spurs.

  19. NBA playoffs, nothing but NBA playoffs!

Okay the old thread got too long so I started a new one.

I see the Heat pulled it out last night.

My official Miami Heat song. "Feeeeel the Heat."

And yes I know.......the Warriors are all the rage again. Sigh.......

Hope your B-Day is a great one Jules. Are you going to go out or throw a party? Yeah I am chatty at night being a night person and Bogie is probably the only person on earth that can match my sports history knowledge (sarcasm) so I enjoy these chats.

Heat don't know how to hold onto a good lead. I can't watch them at times since it's painful. lmao

I want the Heat to play Lebron though just for some sort of storyline. Get this team from Canada out. :hide:

I might sleep early tonight again anyway, hope the Heat win and the Golden Curry's lose but I doubt that happens again.

Heat won in OT I see. I missed the game because I had to go out to work for a while. 2-2 now.

I don't know anything about the DB but I see people complaining hard on it already. Then again for many years nobody complains more about draft picks then the draft junkies on Colts forums lol. I think some were even complaining I recall when we picked TY Hilton saying he was too small and picked too high lol.

Pacers winning is an added bonus too. Nice to see.

Dwyane Wade = Stud! Drake poked the wrong person when he poked the Bear of Paul George. We will see what happens now, YeeeeeeeeeSSSSSS

  22. This won't be a popular opinion I am about to share among my fanbase but I am going to anyway. I don't think Tom Brady deserves to be suspended 4 games. I think at this point too with the incident happening last January that it's becoming a witch hunt at this point and a bit tiring. I wish the whole thing would just have DIED last season.....I didn't even want to hear about deflate gate again. Frankly I can find it embarrassing since we got CREAMED in that game.

The Patriots lost a first round draft pick and got fined.  I am not sure at this point in time Brady needs to be dragged through the mud either since as much as some hate the Pats and Brady lets face it......it's more fun when he plays the game. It's more fun when all of these stars are on the field. I was looking forward to seeing the Pats play in Arizona week 1 and that battle. Now if Brady isn't there it loses it's appeal to me.

And lets be real, it was deflated balls and even Rodgers admitted he likes MORE air in the balls. I get they broke a rule but lets relax at times here. Nobody killed anyone, raped anyone or hurt anyone that badly. I am sorta embarrassed this is still being talked about when we got our butts kicked in the AFC title game.

And thats about all I got for now on this topic. I am not mad or upset over anything but I was hoping this deflate thing would just go away forever. And I am sure Brady will fight this and it's another battle in the media.

I put this here instead of in the threads on the forum since I don't want to be targeted as being as a closet Pats supporter. I am just saying I am tired of this topic and wish it wasn't even still around.

Sunglasses at Night by Corey Heart is a song out of that 80s poprock ilk that I like. It needed to be covered by an 80s heavy metal band really.

Oh man so the Robert Plant "sea of love" tour is nation wide. lmao I can literally hear it in my head without even trying too.

Could be worse though, I know a grocery store who often plays American Idol winning songs from many many many years ago. I mean far back, like the song that Clay Aiken had when he was in the finale and the song Carrie Underwood had.

I think with Prince btw my favorite of his all time was "When Doves cry". When I was a little kid that video freaked me out too and he climbs out naked.

I think Celtics and Heat both advance to Round 2. Watch out for OKC in the West, they are capable of upsetting the Spurs or Warriors. The combo of Durant/Westbrook is lethal. They have a legit Center finally in Kanter as well.
