  1. Titans lose and I go 0-1 to start my picks. Stupid Steelers. Even with the loss Levis has got to be giving the fans some hope down south.
  2. Boo Steelers score. I want them to lose so the Bengals surpass them.
  3. Titans score. Henry is such a monster. Titans 10 Steelers 7.
  4. Will is looking good so far. Making big plays despite the rest of the team committing penalty after penalty.
  5. Well that was a good throw and catch between Levis and Hopkins. And backed up in their own end zone to boot.
  6. I said it earlier this season, but I don’t know like anyone on the Steelers except Pickett and Watt. Gonna be learning some names tonight.
  7. We’re both 35 with kids so I can confirm. Yeah it’s going faster now. BUT, we aren’t old (yet). Although my students believe anyone over 30 is apparently one foot in the grave already
  8. How about this? The Colts settle with Taylor and get him paid. He joins the team and preps the week leading up to the first game. Week 1. Home game vs. Jaguars. Jim Irsay invites Andrew Luck to the game to be given a proper send off (maybe RoH?) The fans cheer and give him a standing ovation as thanks. And this act breaks the curse. Richardson makes mistakes, but also makes big plays connecting with Pittman and the tight ends. The defense blitzes Lawrence and the Jags are caught off guard by the aggression. An emotional start gives the team their first win against Jacksonville in years. Colts win 23-20.
  9. Breaking NFL News: Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson gets injured in a freak surfing accident in Florida and will miss out his first NFL season. More details at noon. JUST KIDDING!!!!
  10. Oh I absolutely agree with this. I was expecting a 5-6 win season back in training camp. The way I took this off-season was that we were doing a soft-rebuild and restart. I think @NewColtsFan had mentioned it as well.
  11. And let the rookies cut their teeth. In a few years, they'll be battle hardened and experienced players.
  12. I still love Frank as a person and respect the heck out of him. But Dave Tepper? Naw. Don't like that guy one bit. The Panthers were a cool franchise until that bozo walked in.
  13. I wouldn't say that's unpopular, just that the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". I'd say that if we hadn't had so many injuries and losing Stewart to PEDs we'd be winning games this year. The good news is we're giving our rookies CBs a ton of experience this season. That can pay off down the road for years to come.
  14. I love Richardson already, but I view next season as his first true rookie season. This year was more of a redshirt year. He'll still be learning from the bench, but he's going to play like a rookie at times when he comes back.
  15. I'd say most agree with you. He's also in the wrong scheme now, definitely not comfortable playing his assigned role.
  16. 17. Yeah, I don't think it will be as fast of a turnaround like what Cincy did. But I hope between this year's draft group (which has been pretty good so far) and next year we can at least get more competitive again.
  18. Just watching him, you can see the motivation in his eyes now. He talks all calm as a California boy, but there's a fire behind that facade. He wants to come back badly.
  19. They'd probably be 7-1 or 6-2. That defense handled the top QBs of the league in their gauntlet to start the year and made it out still in the playoff hunt. Super impressive. If they're still competitive in December, I can see Rodgers shocking the world and coming back. What a freaking story that would be.
  20. I think Ballard is quietly and passively tanking. We all saw what happened with the Bengals. With just two bad seasons back to back they were able to right a lot of their wrongs and take off.
