  1. Mostly because I had never heard of him before the pick was made. That and him being past up with 78 other picks. I hope he is, and think he could be great,
  2. I'll be honest, I don't have high expectations for this pick but I hope he ends up being great.
  3. Why should we care what Mel Kiper thinks? Never been a fan. He hits and he misses like everyone else. I give it an "A" based on the needs they may have filled.
  4. That and it is good to fill some bench spots with these guys. It helps with the cap.
  5. Looking like this may be a lost season for the Cardinals. Mostly it is the manager who is ruining it.
  6. I disagree. I can say I like steak better than a hamburger. But then I am given the opportunity to choose a plain round steak or a nice big bacon/cheddar burger with lettuce tomato and onion. I would choose the burger. Now I'm hungry.
  7. What if there was a QB with an 80% accuracy in the draft. But he was 5'4" and 115 lbs. Should he be the pick. I guess so otherwise the coach is a "liar". Ha ha.
  8. I agree. Accuracy could be the #1 trait he likes. Athleticism is #2. Size is #3. In this case, number 2 and number 3 outweighed number 1.
  9. But they claim to be journalists and try to make people believe they know stuff and then they spew crap with no evidence and people buy it up.
  10. It IS possible, but I don't think the teams in need of a QB would have let AR get past them.
  11. The media lied to everyone as well. They all have been telling us that Levis was the 3rd best QB in this draft class. In fact, the odds had him the second most likely QB to be picked first (Young). Turns out that teams with QB needs still passed on him.
  12. Levis not being taken in the first round adds some validity to the Colts pick.
  13. While I am happy with the pick, I still believe none of the top 4 QB's will be great QB's in the league.
  14. The Cardinals will struggle. Their coach is not good and is causing issues. He will not make decisions to help the team. They had a relief pitcher who pitched 7, yes 7, sliders in a row to a batter who them homered to win a game. After 3 of the same pitches, most managers would stop it. 4, 5, 6, what the hell!
  15. Honestly, I don't think I will watch a minute of the NBA playoffs. No interest at all. Might be different if the Pacers were competitive but not sure.
  16. I'm looking forward to it as last season was very good.
  17. I still have UZZU. Me, my brother and his friend share it. You can have multiple devices using it. it gets all MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA and NFL games including replays. Also about 10 other stations (CNN, Fox News, TBS, TNT, Discovery). $130 per year but we split it 3 ways. https://uzzu.tv/
  18. Cardinals starting pitching is struggling. The same staff pitched well and got them to the playoffs last year, but it now appears they should have added an ace. Their offense is great, their defense is great but the starting pitching could lead to a .500 season. Not a fan of Marmol (their coach) as he is already throwing good players under the bus.
  19. Cardinals beat Toronto today. Gave up 10 walks but only allowed 1 run.
  20. O'Neil for the Cardinals hit a home run for the 4th straight opening day game (he's only been in the league for 5 years).
