The WR group reminds me of the CB position last off season. I thought we liked what we had then.8 The majority were unhappy with that group many expected a CB early in the draft. When Ballard went with the what we had the board went nuts. Leonard and Smith were reaches Ballard wasted the 2nd round picks etc. Moore was a bum, Q a bust, Desir a journeyman etc That didn’t turn out too bad.
We may have more talent at WR. It’s young and unproven but I think the coaches have some guys to work with. I wouldn’t be surprised if we go into day 3 without drafting a WR. Myles Boykin day 3 wouldn’t be so bad.

Everyone forgets how it takes a receiver awhile to learn the nfl. Fountain could come in and certainly win a spot.
Yes I see a draft pick being penciled in as our #2 in numerous post. I would bet there were fewer than a half dozen rookie WR’s who topped 500 yards receiving last season. It’s being extremely optimistic to project a rookie as a starter.
We have a nice group of young talented guys that our coaches are developing. Pascal Fountain Cain and Ishmael we be in year 2 in the league. We should see these players take steps maybe a jump forward. Johnson will be in his 3rd year the second with us and Rogers year 4.
This group plus a draft pick not necessarily an early one is the future of our WR room. WR is a position it takes a minute to see what you have. Year 3 is often the break out year. It’s not crazy to expect improvement from yr 1 to yr 2.
I didn’t expect a big splash in FA at any position. It will be interesting to see how Funchess fits in. He’s a big target that we think can make the team better. CB and company have earned the of doubt IMO.

If Rogers doesn’t come back Colts will get another 2
Rogers has been disappointing IMO. I could see bringing Inman back and moving on. We have Pascal Fountain Cain and Ishmael in year 2 then Johnson in year 2 with the team. We are growing our own to do that young guys gotta play. Coaches have to develop talent
-
Funchess is getting a one year deal and if history is an indication CB has him on a team friendly deal. We have a 24 yr old betting on himself. If he builds on his 2017 season with a better QB that throws to his WR’s great if not he walks.
We have a lot of young WR talent on this team to develop and we are likely adding to it in the draft. It wasn’t popular but I have thought all along we like the young guys we have. The coaches a chance to do their jobs.
The WR group reminds me a little of our CB’s last off season. There will be a lot of folks unhappy with the group to start the year. It will be interesting to see if Inman or Rogers are back.

Not really sure. I understand CB wants to build through the draft but if there are young bulls out there that can help achieve the ultimate goal...pull the trigger. Of course I'm not a GM but I am a fan that can wish. That's all.
Free agents that fit our locker room and our system are assigned a value etc CB has a formula he has explained numerous times This shouldn’t be a surprise

Trading for a DE is definitely out the question (my opinion), Collins is gone, Flowers is gone. This is the time to make your fans happy and splash a little bit. One can only hope that CJ Mosley is picked up by us or even L. Bell. Our season was stellar but it could be better this year. We can win now with the right pieces from free agency and the draft. I know its early in free agency but come on Chris Ballard! Give us somebody...PLEASE!!!!
You can’t be serious Do you pay attention when CB talks

We have signed the key guys. We are letting guys test the market after the market is set I think we bring some other guys back. Farley and Desir top the list and Geathers is likely to be back too IMO. Rogers and/or Inman could be.back but neither are key moving forward.

No to high of a price would not give the freaking Seahawks a 1st
The idea and it is probably wishful thinking was we keep our 1st the Jets 2nd. The Hawks were interested in JB so what if we send him and our 2nd maybe the comp pick for Clark. The AB trade caused the excitement

Doaes that really improve our WR score? IDK. His yeards don’t look bad. But can’t we get that with Rogers or Inman.ND
IMO Beasley is easily an upgrade in the slot. I think he may get more money then CB values him at in a weak WR market.

This is the type of FA signing I’d expect to see and agree he could produce a year removed from the ACL injury

There are a lot of safeties on the market right now. Maybe none as talented as Collins but it should be a buyers market from here on out. I'm hoping for Adrian Amos. He would be an upgrade from Geathers at what should be a substantially better value than Collins.
Amos isn’t a secret he has a big market He is going to get paid too.
-
We weren’t going to sign four of the top FA’s on the market. CB has explained his approach to FA numerous times. Fans with these kinds of expectations are going to be disappointed
We have been rumored to be interested in Williams. That would make sense looking at his ties to the coaches. I’d love Amos liked him coming out of PSU but I don’t see it
I think it’s more likely we resign Geathers and draft help on the back end. Call me crazy but I get the feeling CB prefers to grow his own building through the draft.

se7Roger's isn't getting 5 Mil as a 5th receiver, Hines, Campbell or Cain can return kicks.
You can’t just put someone back to return punts you might get away with it for kick offs. Hines is the only one of the 3 to have returned punts albeit limited and that didn’t look good last preseason. I don’t think we stick Cain back there off the knee injury.
Rogers may not get 5M but his ability as a PR gives him an advantage competing for a roster spot. Fountain returned punts in the East-West game 2 yrs ago. He’s a guy I will keep an eye on I think we see a nice jump from his rookie year. I’d love to find an explosive returner.
As far as the mock I like most of what I see. I am an Irish backer so I really like Tillery a lot and want to see him wear the shoe. Gardner and Campbell are solid additions at positions of need. I am on board there.
The middle rounds I think if we haven’t we grab a DE. Maybe we look at Winovich Crosby or the kid from Texas who had a nice Senior Bowl week. Crosby is a small school kid who’s combine numbers caught my eye. I need to find the time to watch his tape.
I’d be surprised if CB didn’t draft another pass rusher. I think Desir stays in Indy too. I remember an him talking about how thankful he was for his shot in Indy and the most important piece how happy his wife and kids were living in the city. IMO That won’t be another Melvin situation.

Not only would we lose a 1st round draft pick, we'd be paying a high price for either a one year rental (he's tagged), or a sign and trade long term contract. Lot's of money + high draft pick. There will be some decent pass rushers left at our first two picks.
Keep in mind Clark was drafted late second round. He's proof that you can find studs after mid 1st.
Clark was kicked off the Michigan football team for DV and MIC charges for a hotel fight with his girlfriend Then he didn’t come off well explaining himself. That played a big role in his draft selection. The Hawks took heat for drafting him. I remember a riff between he and Sherman while in Seattle.
There were a lot of red flags so Clark may not be a locker room fit to begin with. If he checks out with Ballard as far as locker room and agrees to a new deal. He is what we need on the edge.
If Seattle is all about JB maybe we send him and our 2nd for Clark. That probably isn’t enough but I’d explore a trade. I hear the Bills have inquired about Clark

76ers (40-22) won....the Pacers (41-22) stay ahead by just 1/2 game
It’s going to take some doing to stay in front of Philly. The game at OKC was a L on paper when I looked at their schedule.

If we're going that way..we need to bring back Collison and Cory Joseph. too.
Cant bring back half the 'core gang'
I dont think Aaron Holiday is ready to be a starting point guard
I’d like to see Bogy Thad and Wes back for sure. Tyreke’s money can be better spent IMO. I’d look to upgrade our PG’s if possible
Holiday isn’t ready to start but man his brother is. Jrue is a guy I’d love to have. We could lock teams down with Jrue and Vic in the backcourt then Myles at the rim.
We have plenty of time to figure that out. I want to see what we can this year without Vic. We have a dangerous group if we can get healthy

Bogdonavic AVERAGES 17 points a game....is that true?
..and no one outside of Indy has ever heard of him...
He just needed a place where he could get comfortable on and off the court thankfully it was Indiana. After watching him play in the Olympics in Brazil I was sold. He did it all for Croatia. It was amusing when the word was he was just a 3 point specialist who was a liability almost in every other part of the game. The guy looks like an all star
We resign him for sure he's going to get a pay raise much deserved. I'd like to see Thad and Wes back too. This team is going to be dangerous this year but look out when Vic gets back

122-115.......without Vic, Tyreke, Sabonis..and with Myles playing just 23 minutes.
This might be our best win of the serason.
41-22 with 19 games left
We need to keep getting W's stay away from the 4 v 5 series
-
Bogy has really gotten comfortable for us and his confidence is allowing him to show his complete game I've been saying it since we signed him this guy is a baller I think we are good
-
We are fortunate the Wolves can't hit ft's BOGY!!
-
We don't get a shot up then Young fouls out on the other end we can't get out of our own way

Despite their record, this would be a great win being short handed if we can get it. They are loaded with talent.
At home this is a game we should and need to win We have really helped the Wolves especially on the glass

Without Vic Bogy needs to be our closer We may want to start rebounding the ball at least for the last few minutes

We have stuck with him and it seem s like he's blooming
To be fair, this would be his senior year in college had he stayed
You said it earlier if he can continue to gain strength he could do somethings. The offensive rebounds and mental lapses are allowing the Wolves to believe they can get the W tonight We can't afford to let this game get away
