  1. I doubt he had a problem with Peyton, even in Peyton's rookie year. I think anyone who reads Lenny's comments can see exactly what he is trying to convey without his coming out and saying it. That is pretty clear, especially when he says that Minshew will always be better than Richardson and his comparing Richardson to Lance.
  2. Hopefully he comes back in two weeks. I would keep him on the bench rather than cutting/waiving him. He is expected back. Feel better.
  3. @RollerColtyou need to sit Jefferson for at least 4 weeks. He is being placed on IR. I think Kirk will be using Addison more. We may need to sign another receiver.
  4. Nobody watched this game? The Raiders beat the Pack 17-13. CB Amik Robertson with the pick to seal the win for the Raiders at the end. @VikingsFanInChennai He was one of my late round picks in one of the Gavin Mock Drafts we had. Lol.
  5. @Solid84 From your weekly reports, are there certain groups of players or individual players that appear to be improving or regressing? Thanks.
  6. I don't either. I know some folks who follow both. I actually have an even harder time making sense of DVOA.
  7. You did a great job! That is a lot of work. The run game seemed great. I wonder what made it "below average". Has PFF graded Richardson higher than below average. I think he plays so well but it is not reflected in PFF scores. By the way, do you also follow team DVOA rankings? They remind me of PFF, as my grades seem far different from theirs.
  8. I think you may have misunderstood his comment. I think he must have misunderstood. I agree with both of your initial comments. It gets frustrating at times to see that PFF's grades are different from how we would evaluate what we are watching. PFF seems to grade other variables that I may not value or appreciate. Anyway, Moss had a great game, regardless of how PFF saw it.
  9. To your point, Daniel Jones left his game yesterday with a neck injury. He was injured as he was sacked in the pocket. He had a similar injury two years ago. Daniel Jones injury
  10. I thought so too until I read the whole article. I will read it again after I am off from work. The point was that QBs that run are not more likely to get injur d than those that don't.
  11. I found an article but it is long. It goes in depth about injuries. The author is a doctor in physical therapy and he said shoulder injuries are the most prevalent. I did not realize that. Anyway, here is the article. https://www.fantasypoints.com/nfl/articles/season/2021/mobile-quarterbacks-and-injury-rates#/
  12. Yes, that's right. Athletes especially one that uses his arm to play cannot have loose ligaments. And that is his throwing shoulder. It does not sound like Richardson had a dislocation (shoulder popping out). I may be wrong.
  13. I believe this is true. I had an analyst look into this and he found this to be true. This was a couple of years ago; so, I don't have the link. If you find it please post it.
  14. If he tore the ligaments, he might need surgery, as that is his throwing shoulder. The ligaments should not be loose. I have had shoulder injuries -- they are very painful. I wince as I think about them. But people recover from them. Richardson will too.
  15. The instability that Anderson mentions is what is most important. Richardson injured his throwing shoulder. If it is not stable, the injury will happen again. Hopefully with rest and physical therapy, he will be back to 100%. I also hope that surgery is not necessary, but sometimes it is needed to tighten the tissues in the shoulder. I wish him the best. He seems like such a nice, modest guy.
  16. Per the Athletic: "The Indianapolis Colts are preparing to be without quarterback Anthony Richardson for four to six weeks, a team source said, after the rookie left Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans with a shoulder injury. Here’s what you need to know: Richardson’s initial diagnosis is a Grade 3 AC joint sprain, a team source said. Richardson had an MRI on Sunday and Indianapolis is waiting for the results to confirm the early diagnosis." https://theathletic.com/4944834/2023/10/09/anthony-richardson-injury-colts?source=user-shared-article
  17. This is good news if he will not need surgery. He should take as much time as needed to let the shoulder fully heal. If he did not stretch ligaments, he should be good to go in no more than six weeks. In the meantime, the Colts have a competent QB in Minshew and the running game looks great. The defense looks good too.
  18. Cincy has a two possession game. Sounds like Trey forced a TO or recovered a TO. @RollerColt Cincy is doing well now.
  19. Kelce came back and scored a TD Burrow is having a very good game.
  20. Chiefs and Vikings tied at 13 to start the third quarter. Breece Hall just scored a long rushing TD for the Jets. They lead the Broncos by 2.
  21. Game tied between Vikes and Chiefs. Kelce appeared to sustain a non-contact injury. His loss maybe big in the game. In the season, he was missed and the Lions beat the Chiefs.
  22. Are we leading? Lady I checked we were losing.
  23. Thanks. Sounds like a quarterback with additional skills. I don't see why someone would say they would not want a QB that can do what most QBs can do and more. Anyway, to the topic, I think AR should not start until all the pain in the shoulder is gone. There is a capable backup in Minshew who can hold the fort for now. Eventually, AR should return as starter but not before he is recovered. Shoulder injuries can be exacerbated if not fully healed.
