If I advance this week, I have two early favorites for Week 5: the Lions over the Panthers in a battle of Kitties or the Dolphins against the Giants. Both favorites are home.

I think the Vikings defense will hold the Panthers offense. We should win.

Herbert threw for more yards and fewer passes and no INT. Herbert is also a lot more decisive. He is a very intelligent player. I wish we had drafted him. All the QBs from that year are doing pretty well.

Okay, we were writing at the same time. Herbert outplayed him for sure.

What makes you say he outplayed Herbert? Herbert was 40 of 47 (85%) for 405 yards and had 3 TD and no INT. You can't beat that stat line. Kirk was 32 for 50, 367 yards and 3TD and had an INT.

Did you see the end of the game? Everyone was screaming "spike the ball". It did not occur to him to do so. It is the small things that win games. He threw the third most yards last year -- only two shy of throwing the most. Our running game was good last year.

I know. But I bet you he leads the league in passes per game or he is close. I don't know how to check who has thrown the most passes. Anyone know? Volume stats are not that important if you are not winning.

I read that the Panthers defense is pretty good. If they sack Cousins, fans will blame it on the OL. We just signed Risner. We put all these reinforcements for Kirk to succeed. Hopefully we start winning. People say he threw for over 300 yard last week. Well, he threw 50 passes. (About 7 yards per attempt) He better have over 300 yard, especially having JJ to throw to.

Only 7 people left in the Survival Pool. I expect to advance. I cannot pick the following teams again for the rest of the year. I used them in earlier weeks: Ravens Bills Seahawks 49ers this week. I still have the Chiefs, the Dolphins and the Eagles that are likely winners almost every week.

Jones seems to be mentally impaired and unstable. He has said some very disturbing stuff. He was also arrested yesterday or the day before for violating an order of protection. He needs professional help for his mental health issues. Back to topic, I had written that the Colts dodged a bullet when McDaniels turned them down. Instead of crying over spilled milk, folks should embrace other possibilities. Not just in this case, but in life in general.

I hope to advance in the Survival Pool with a win against the Cards. I seriously considered the Vikings, as I don't think they can lose to the Panthers but you never know with this team. Brandon Staley gave them a gift win and they left it on the field at home. SMH. So, I picked the 49ers to advance in the Survival Pool.

After a notable win at Baltimore last Sunday, your AFC South-leading Indianapolis Colts (2-1) return home to play the LA Rams (1-2) today. Anthony Richardson is expected back at QB, but he will have two of his best offensive linemen out in this game. Ryan Kelly and Bernhard Raimann are out with concussions. In addition, Nelson is questionable, as is DeForest Buckner who has not practiced this week with a back and groin injuries. The Rams have not ruled anyone out but listed the following as Questionable: Alaric Jackson, OL Ben Skowronek, WR Tyler Higbee, TE John Johnson III, Safety Detailed Injury Report for Colts and Rams What are your thoughts on this game? Should the Colts have given Richardson another day to rest with the team facing Aaron Donald with two key Colts offensive linemen out? What has you excited or concerned about this game? Thursday Night games are now on Amazon Prime.

The games have been okay. The first Thursday night game that the Lions won was very entertaining. This game is not too bad. How did GB score their TD. I had turned the game off for about 10 minutes and I missed when they scored.

I don't know if it is Prime, NFL+, the weather or my data service but my reception today is poor. It keeps pausing for 7+ seconds every 30 seconds or so. It is annoying. I may turn it off.

I probably will too.

Is anyone waking up early to watch the game in London on Sunday? (Atlanta vs. Jacksonville) Why does Jacksonville play so many games in Europe? They play a game in Europe almost every year. @Solid84 Will you be watching?

The Broncos and Bears game this Sunday will be very boring.

I don't follow. lol. Why would he be asleep? It is a fun game. The Lions are fun.

They are a lot of fun. They are a young and hungry team. I like their coach.

I'm an NFL fan. I loved that draft; so, I remember the players well. I used to be like that with baseball. I knew all the players. I used to enjoy the history of baseball. I know no one in baseball now. I hope I do not lose my love of football. I used to like Tennis, Golf, College sports, but the only sport that I enjoy now is football.
