  1. @stitchesThanks for creating this thread. I thought about creating one around 15 mins ago and got sidetracked. I'm just hoping we get a couple players today. I don't want to fall behind the 8-ball before FA officially starts when a lot of the valuable players are signed in theory today.
  2. Good game Vs the Red Sox today in a 6-6 tie for the Braves. Matt Olson hit a HR, and the team looked solid. Unfortunately, the new pitch clock rules possibly cost us a spring training win as Conley got struck out for not being in the batters box within 8 seconds (I believe) in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded and a full count. This is going to happen a lot IMO throughout the year. No injuries today (knock on wood), so a good first day to spring training. Hoping for another one tomorrow!
  3. Yeah, I think the Bears are actively trying to trade him. It just depends on how much teams like him more or less than QBs on the market like Carr, Rodgers, Jones, Mayfield, Minshew, Brissett etc...
  4. Looking forward to watching the Braves play. There needs to be a cap ceiling to prevent Steve Cohen from buying a championship for the Mets though. That, or stricter penalties for going over the luxury tax threshold. Other than losing Swanson, the Braves are about the same. Sean Murphy is a massive improvement at C, and although our farm sucks now, our major league team is extremely competitive and we are two years removed from winning the WS. I'm hoping to see Vaughn Grissom make an impact at SS, Acuna to have a comeback year two years removed from ACL surgery, Michael Harris to build off of his NL rookie of the year season, and guys like Soroka and Anderson to continue to develop as pitchers. The bullpen should be elite again as well. I need to get my mind off of the Colts, they are really making me a negative person right now.
  5. I would not trade the no4 pick for Fields. I'd give the no35 pick for Fields and a 6th or 7th rounder. Fields has been exposed as a passer. He's just terrible. Bad weapons aren't even an excuse for how terrible he is. He's an RB who plays QB in the NFL basically. If he could pass the ball better, there would be potential. As of now, he's an elite RB that plays QB and would need lots of work as a passer to become even an average QB. I'd be intrigued to see what Steichen could do with him though tbh..
  6. Keep the tank baby, this is why Saturday is the interim HC!
  7. Good start, keep it up guys! I think the Chargers are benching their starters most likely. We may get up to 4.
  8. I would do a super flex spot. That's always fun and would put more emphasis on QBs.
  9. I'm assuming you lost this week? I won, but lost Taylor for the year (most likely), so I'll be at a major disadvantage this week.
  10. I get this game on TV! Wooooo! Actually think we win this week (did my prediction late on the thread). Should be a high scoring game.
  11. GL, wish you the best! You know what they say, fantasy before reality!
  12. Sam needs to play then because he can run the ball and be mobile. I agree with your post.
  13. The age is pretty close tbh. 34 to 37. The record means little to me as Matt Ryan is a turnover machine. I agree with the picks and contract. However, that doesn't have any bearing on how good or bad the QB is. Both are equally bad. The only difference is we are in better shape for the future becuase we didn't mortgage it and miss. After next year, we'll still have a good team that has a shot again with a proper GM and QB.
