The age is pretty close tbh. 34 to 37. The record means little to me as Matt Ryan is a turnover machine. I agree with the picks and contract. However, that doesn't have any bearing on how good or bad the QB is. Both are equally bad. The only difference is we are in better shape for the future becuase we didn't mortgage it and miss. After next year, we'll still have a good team that has a shot again with a proper GM and QB.
Can I ask you something? Do you feel the same about Russell Wilson with the Broncos? Similar situations on bad teams and struggling besides he has a bigger and longer contract.
I still think he goes day 2. He looked great before getting hurt all year. Add to the fact he's a QB. Someone will take a chance on him in rounds 2 or 3.
If we were in position for Stroud, what would be worse for you, losing to Michigan or losing to a smaller school like Hendon Hooker to South Carolina? BTW, he also lost to Georgia as well. Just asking, because Hooker will be in our range.
I don't have a problem with that honestly. Michigan was ranked #3 in the country with lots of NFL talent. I worry more when top college QBs struggle against smaller schools.
Not sure if Ballard will be the GM next year, but if he is, I hope he realizes we need a mobile QB from the draft next year to take over. The non-mobile QB is becoming a thing of the past and we are at such a disadvantage with Ryan. Manning and Brady are the exception to the rule.
