it makes some people feel important to be a keyboard bully. they like to hide behind a keyboard and spew out verbal abuse from their safe place behind their keyboard, some of them are not satisfied with their personal lives and put on a mask of being a nice person face to face with people. i have respect for the way you feel but i feel differently about ballard. you said that qb play is what it takes to make the playoffs. i agree with that, i started losing faith in ballard in the 2020 draft when burrow, hurts, herbert, tua, and love were all available. ballard got eason in that draft. i too think ar can be good but we should have had a qb before now.

ballard imo was afraid to trade up, job security to just take what falls to us. in 2020 burrow, hurts, herbert, tua, and love were all in that draft, ballard traded out of the first for buckner, could have still had love but chose eason instead.

i cant make excuses for ballards poor record. i want the colts to win our division again not another third place finish helped by an easy schedule. the luck qb excuse is getting old, in 7 years he has not moved up to take a chance on a qb, in 2020 he traded our first round pick for buckner, qbs in the draft in 2020 were burrow, hurts, herbert, tua, and love, ballard picked eason. ballard had a chance to get the colts a qb he chose instead to go with old declining qbs rather than move up and take a chance. love he passed by completely . he should have picked a qb in 2020 and should have been fired for not doing that.

i dont care how fans or media label wrs, but the colts need another pass catcher who can get open, have a low drop rate, get first downs, and score tds

imo ballard wanted ar all along. the success of the running qbs in the last few years may have changed the game away from pocket passers who require a great o-line to stay upright. running qbs open up a number of ways to beat defenses. stroud has looked very good but we will see how he does against great pressure teams, pressure affects pocket passers more than mobile passers. ballard may come out looking very smart taking ar. but i do think stroud will be good but can they keep an o-line to keep pressure off him is the question. ar may be good even if our o-line is not elite
