  1. I got to thinking the other day about how teams have pulled some upsets already this season, and how you can see teams strengths and weaknesses. Im not going to go to in depth with this but i was thinking about what teams appear to be some what solid all around from what I have seen this season so far. I cant label any 2 teams to be in the superbowl but was able to narrow it down to 4 teams I think will be in the Championship round.

    AFC Championship:

Texans Vs Ravens- I could have thrown New England against either one of these teams. I think the Texans are a well rounded team and play in what I would call a weak division right now. The Ravens are a roller coaster team, up and down but I think this year will be a more steady year. I think the Ravens will be more consistant this year and do great things with Flacco Throwing it more and Ray Ray rushing the ball behind the freight train Fb Leach. THere D is aged some, but still one of the elite D's to play against. Either one of these could be replaced with New England.

    NFC Championship:

Falcons Vs 49ers- The 2 strongest teams of the NFC IMO. 49ers have what appears to be the best Defense going right now. Alex smith has a handful of weapons to toss to and Frank Gore is running well. Then you got the Falcons with Julio jones, White, Gonzo, and Ryan. I flashy offense that can put points up and fall back to a pedestrain run game if needed. There Defense has rised to challenges so far this season and proven they can be an elite team and possibly go the distance

Now I cant say who would win if this where a real match up. but Id love to see the battle of the Birds in Norleans. Ravens Vs. Falcons. but i suck with superbowl predictions.

  2. if that same thought process was applied to Peyton Manning and the previous Colts era then we may not have went to two SuperBowls because the Colts had several 1 and dones as well as 2 and dones

this is what i was thinking when i started reading the first post on this thread. I like Ryan and the falcons, they seem to be a pretty good team this year and will be probably for a few more years to come

  3. Irsay unloading all of his money into 1 or 2 players instead of understanding that football is still a team sport and we need a team, not individual players to maintain high success. that goes for all acrossed the team, offense to defense.

Give money where it is due, but dont make it a goal to have the "highest paid players" in there respective positions.

  4. We have to go 1 day at a time with this team, The defense is a whole new defense compared to last year, yeah they had practice to get it down and 4 preseason games. but this is the first full game the team has played. Id give it a few more weeks

  5. ill be the first to admit I dont pay much attention to other teams moves during the offseason and kind role off what teams produced the previous year but our dear colts because im always watching what we do in off season, and what I HAVE read about us againts the bears seems to have it a close battle, almost 50/50.....I dont expect a blow out for this game, but I do expect it to go either way. I think with this week 1 matchup, it will be a good test against all calibers of the our colts this season. Just to clarify I mean this game with be a test to our D, our O, our QB, or will to win, our fight for the playoffs(sound crazy with it being week 1) but We are a hungry team and we want to prove all doubters wrong by saying this is not the same team we have watched week after week for the past 13 years, we are now a new breed, and what better way to test us than against an aging but non the less a good bears D

just to add what I have said, this game I feel will come down to 1 solid offensive drive

  6. "bears 127 - Colts 4"

    "bears 31 - colts 10"

    "bears 34 - colts 9"

    "bears 31 - colts 7"

    "bears 42 - colts 7"

    "bears 27 - colts 23"

Most of their fans have the bears blowing us out... Looks like we need to beat that dead bear. That old SB bear a little while longer. I'm sure they will love an upset. GO COLTS!

  7. I saw on the Colt's facebook page the other day that Gatorade would be having some Colts specialized bottles released. Does anyone have any more information on this? Also, since I'm guessing they will only be available in the Indy area, I was wondering if I could pay anyone to get me some and ship them to me. :)

They sell the Jets and Giants special Gatorade here in Houston so I'm sure they will be coming to a city near you

First I have heard about it, but if true, id love to have 1 if any of guys find out where these are sold would it be possible if i could buy one off you just in case they dont sell it where i am at

  8. Replace Pierre Thomas with anyone who is left on the waiver wire. He's sharing carries with two other backs on a pass first team.

The Seahawks D is the only other big weakness, but I doubt you're going to find a better option.

Other than that good looking team. You have two first round caliber players in Rice and Rodgers. The best te in the NFL and pretty good recivers

Yeah I agree, I was given thomas by my trying to be a * and over price him on someone else and ended up biting me back, Im lookin now to replace that D and Thomas as well

    Thanks for the feedback

  9. I dont know about you guys but I usually run like 4 or 5 fantasy team, this year I got 4 plus a dummy team I didnt even know I signed up for, my 4 teams are all averaging about 137.45 points this week.....You guys think thats good?

here is the roster for the one with the most projected points.

    QB Aaron Rogers,

    Rb Pierre Thomas, Ray Rice

    Wr. Reggie Wayne, Aj Green

    Te Rob Gronkowski

    Kicker Bryant

Def Seahawks...THis is a Nfl managed league of 10 teams

This was a Bid Draft, and I wasnt really trying to get Rogers I wanted to over price him so I can steal a few other players but didnt work.

  10. Weeks 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 each have 16 games. So 144 total NFL games.

    Week 4 has 15. Now at 159.

    Weeks 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 have 14 games. Now at 243 total NFL games.

Week 7 has 13 games. Now at 256.

Wild card has 4. 260 total.

    Divisional has 4. 264.

    Conference has 2. 266.

    Super Bowl. 267 total games.

well if history repeats its self, the colts will rest the starters the last two regular season games, so can we put it at like 266.5?

  11. So I got a league with just a few friends and myself, I was 9th in the draft and really couldnt snag any top named RB, I had to go with a few darkhorse choices and under the radar cats. So heres the question.

Which 2 of the 3 should I start for my week one match up.

    Currently starting:

    Doug Martin Vs. Carolina

    Pierre Thomas Vs. Washington

    Riding the Bench I got:

    Cedric Benson Vs. San Fran

I had CB starting but going up against the San Fran D I just dont think he will be as productive, I didnt pay much attention to the off season so I dont even know if San Frans D will be as good as it was last year but I am just assuming and went with Doug With Pierre. Should I keep it or Should I switch Cedric in, and who should I take out..

Also for some crazy reason NFL Fantasy has Julio Jones only getting like 8.3 points this week against KC. I got him as a starting WR, Do you think he will get more points or less than 8.3

  12. Nevis isn't a 3-4 defensive end in my opinion, much more a 4-3

Out of everyone I seen in the preseason on the D side, Nevis has played the best IMO..He has improved alot since I guess we can say last year. No way He is getting cut today....If anything I guess we could use him as trade bait, but I like Nevis in the new D scheme better than I do freeney Right now
  13. Why would the Dolphins trade the best left tackle in the game? While we're at it, let's get the Jets to send us Revis, and the Lions can send us Ndamakung Suh.

If I could take a player from the lions Id take Megatron...Seems more logical you know, with us taking revis from the Jets and Long from the Phins....That there My friend would be the start of a "Dream Team" for the Coragles( Colts, Ravens,Eagles) seeing as to how we only trade/ pick up players with the ravens and eagles
