excuses me for being a bit slow but what is BPA?
-
Im thinking we will take a OLB, we can get a quality WR in the Third or Fourth even. Then again, I think we still need some adjustments at o-line so I dont know, Ill just sit back like TK said and ride it out lol
-
If we sign Ricky tomorrow, where do we go in the draft, Alot of us had us taking a Cb or a Dl player at 24. Like I said, if we get Ricky, will we still take a Dl player to fill the middle or where do we go. I think our secondary is set really. To me we still need oline help and at least 1 wr. What do you guys think we will do or who do you have us taking now
-
im not really impressed with Sidbury or Walden signings. I do like Toler signing the most from todays picks, as far as the oline guys go I dont even know really
-
I said it months ago in another thread that I would take Barwin over spencer, kruger or any of them but I also said I didnt think the texans would let him walk
-
Sorry, but what are you asking people to respond to??
How is your thread different than the three other threads that talked about it??
Feels like you'v left out something... like there's a piece of the puzzle missing?
here is what i have text and posted, Recent news has been leaked about Polian wanting to trade manning back in 04, but irsay told polian ( undestand this Bill, We are not trading Manning for anyting). Bills counter offer was we could get a lt of defense players for Peyton! Irsay then went on to say that if we had the second pick last year we would have got RGIII and still let Manning walk but made sure he protected Griffin better than he was in Washington, and if we had the third pick we would have kept Manning. So my question to my friends and facebook fans are if we had manning and Third overall pick who would we have drafted then, and if we took RGIII what would have done to make sure he was better protected like irsay said? Article is here http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000146263/article/jim-irsay-says-colts-gm-mulled-peyton-manning-trade

Mods! I dont want this merged into another topic because I am asking my friends via text there thoughts and my facebook friends there thoughts on the topic. Merge if you feel necessary but i am making this post to show a different view away from forum members. but leaving it open to forum members opinions on the subject.

Id take Robinson, BUt i dont understand why so many people want Mike Turner, We have Ballard, Brown, and Carter...Do we need another Rb. I am suprised about Abraham really, I thought he would be with the dirty birds till he retired.
-
We'll by the tone of their voices as they mentioned it and it was confusing to them why he's not on the ROH and they are respectable experts and they question it and just wanted to ask since I didn't see anybody else commenting on their comments, so was I the only Colts fan to watch the whole thing?
Go Colts...
No I heard them question it, and I simply spoke out loud and said he doesnt deserve to be on the ring of honor in indy, what he accomplished in St. Louis far exceeds anything he did in indy. Why would he even want to be in our ring of honor and not St. Louis?

Okafor from Texas would be there in the Late Rounds. We could grab him
ive seen a few mocks having Okafor dropping to us in the first, and then Ive seen some have him going before us in the first. I dont think he will be there in the third or later. But I would like to have him if we get a rookie to fill freeneys place. If not, Id like to have Rhodes or Banks

Here is my Grocery List Id like Grigson to pick up
WR: Id like Jennings, but his price is just to steap for me, so I will shop the great value brand and look at Steve Breaston. Didnt have a good year this past year but has put up some good numbers considering his qb situations with the chiefs and his time in AZ.
CB: This is a stretch but, lol Id love to bring Kelvin Hayden back to Indy. Wont happen but it would be nice. So Adam Jones or DRC would be nice.
S: William Moore, only started and played 12 games last season but had a decent stat line, 59 tackles, 1 sack, 8 pass defended, 4 ints and 2 force fumbles. Shouldnt be pricey either, also will probably signed again by atlanta but if possible he should surly be an upgrade to what we got.
OLB/DE: I like Kruger, I like Spencer. I would prefer Spencer over Kruger I think just from a stat stand poiunt, but if I could choose any DE/OLB out there that is going to be a possible FA I want Connor Barwin over both. Barwin has been in the league 4 years has a career stat of 82 tackles, 19 sacks, 16 pass defended, 1 f-fumble and 1 safety. While Spencer has more in all categories except pass defended. Spencer also has 2 more years and last year was his best yet. So Im going With Barwin but texans wont let him walk so I will take spencer over Kruger, SImply because Kruger isnt an every down DE/OLB or even really a starter. Spencer would be my bid

I am a fan of Peyton, I hope he and Broncos do well, but when it comes down to Broncos Vs Colts, Im taking my team over one of my favorite players
-
I havent read what anyone else posted on this thread so I could be just repeating someone else. But I dont think Donald will start, I feel Vick is the better back of the two even if we didnt run a WC Hybrid Offense. But seein how Pep likes using WCO and WCO uses a more power back style, I see Vick getting the start IMO.

What if we get a solid FA Cb and Spencer or Kruger as well, then what do we address with the 1st round pick, Oline?
-
Xavier Rhodes, Cornerback from Florida State.
I just looked him up and he would be a pretty solid cb option. I would go with Rhodes over Banks if we draft a Cb. But someone else posted today in another thread and this could mean nothing or could mean everything but Grigson was talking on a radio show about the potential CBs available via FA. Now, if we take a free agent CB who would it be and again if we take a FA CB do we draft oline, dline, or freeneys replacement and who would it be? Also, what If we take Spencer and a CB in FA then where do we draft. These are questions Ive been asking my self and a few friends today and figured there are hunrdeds of threads relating to each question no need for me to make one specifically for my interest.
-
I agree. I have really grown to love the idea of getting Rhodes. I'm not impressed with Okafor at all and depending on who's talking about him, I have heard some downright terrible things about him. Not personal stuff, but as his play on the field is concerned. I have read different websites about him and heard Mike Mayok say very unflattering things about his play. One site went so far as to say he shouldn't be anything more than a career backup in the NFL. It as actually posted here at one time but don't remember where.
Who is Rhodes, Sorry Guys I dont watch much college football I just watch combines and mock drafts
-
I am all for Okafor to, and Jordan is projected to be in the top 15 of the draft this year. So thats not going to happen I dont think, I like Okafor, but if we decided to go with Spencer in FA then I say we draft a CB, and Id go with Jonathon Banks there.
-
I would be excited if he went to the falcons, thats one of my other favorite teams, I also wouldnt mind seeing him go to Seattle. That D is a well oiled machine out there and they need some pass rushers.
-
I agree with you that we can't rely on Collie, plus he's a free agent. But he missed the season with a knee injury, not the concussion. Just a point of clarification...
oh, lol well I thought he was out with the concussion, but regardless it seems like this kid catches a concussion as often as he catches the ball, not saying he has bad hands just saying when he gets hit he gets rattled
-
I wonder if the colts are thinking about doing a bolder horse shoe, or coloring in the holes on the shoe with a gray to white gradient. That would be a huge change.........SARCASM!
-
I love how people are talking about collie being back so we dont need jennings, but Im not sure if you guys watched last season or not...but Collie got another concussion and was out for the rest of the season, making it like his 3rd of 4th in 2 seasons....Collie is not durable nor is he reliable from week to week. Id take Jennings over Collie and over Avery any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Id take Bowe to if its the right price. With Jennings having issues as of late with injury Id rather ride with bowe but either one is an upgrade I think personally
-
I like the thought of Having Jennings, Good wr and a sure catch wr I think. He isnt as physical as i would like but he has good speed and hands. I wouldnt mind taking jennings and letting Avery walk honestly
-
that sucks, I seen that injury back when it happened and said right there he would never step foot on a field again, and that sucks because I liked knox alot. Only 26 years old and had to call it quits, because he never quit on that single play. Wish him the best of luck
-
I like Talib minus his off field behavior. If he can get his act right and fly straight, then I am all for Talib in Blue and White. If not Id rather settle for a Rookie Cb then Grimes or Houston. I wouldnt be against taking Jones from the bengals either but he also has had history of off field behavior issues, although you havent heard of any trouble out of him lately.
With Recent Signings, where do we go in the Draft?
