  1. Who would you rather have going into this regular season as the starter opposite Mathis?

My take, including what each player is getting paid, is I would rather have Hughes and either try and trade Freeney in a package deal getting OL or CB help, or simply cut him unless we dont need the 19 mil he is getting paid this year. I hope Pagano and Grigson are thinking of getting help at positions of dire need which are CB, OL, and possibly WR.

Maybe involving Freeney in this rumoured trade is a way we can get a good player back without having to give up a 1st or maybe even a 2nd.

I honestly would take hughes with this new scheme. This just isnt Freeneys Style. I wish we could put him on the line and leave him there. Put Freeney back at DE and then have Hughes at LOLB or whatever side he has been on. If we cant do that scenario then Id consider tradiing freeney for whatever we can grab for him. As much as I'd hate to see him leave, I think at this point it might be best. Unless we can do what I said about moving him back to the line and Hughes standing

  2. First off, spell check. Secondly, they are not going to unleash the full playbook in the preseason. Relax, I'm sure we'll see some deep routes with Avery.

Oh yeah, and just to clarify this isnt my first preseason game ive watched, I know they wont unlease all the plays and all that good jazz, but seriously do they have keep doing the plays that just barely move the chains. I'd just like to see luck come out and sling the ball a few times. Just to get me, personally, more hyped up for the regular season.

Glad to see you wanted to play english teacher today, I seen the mistakes just didnt care to fix them. I figure most people knew what I was saying and it honestly didnt matter. Next time ill try to score an A+ on my "typing" seeing how my post was mainly a typing issue rather than a spelling issue.

  4. obviously this game is showing us a different look at this team than what we seen the first 2 preseason games. Avery Has looked good out there. The oline, not so much. Its kinda driving me crazy to see the oline getting ate up pretty much, and It watching luck do these little dink passes, when we know he can unload a pass deeper than 5-10 yards. He did have the one td that was 31 but we have Avery, why not use him and strecht the fiel some

  5. I don't see how receiving a 2nd round pick for a top 5 LT who's 27 years old could be a good deal for the Dolphins. Especially considering how Jake Long is one of their absolute leaders on offense.

Maybe it isnt soo good for dolphins then, but does it matter..As long as the colts improve i dont care how beneficitial a trade is for opposing teams.

  6. The more I think about it..... The more I will make my prediction here.... I officially think it is OT Jake Long of Miami. Hopefully for our 2nd rounder.

I dont think that would be a bad trade for either side really. Im not really sure how much Long is worth anymore I dont pay that much attention to other offensive lines except Colts. but I remember long was a good OT and possibly still is

  7. Today I had some free time to sit back ad kind of think about the colts preseason games and what I feel has been something we have needed to address better for a long time. I think are WR core is a "good" core, but it all centers around Wayne, An aging player who I believe is alwasy underrated. We went out and got "bad knee" Avery and he hastn even played a snap this preseason Im not sure for the reason for it. Then we got collie, who I like alot. but his concussions are just becoming to much. I feel as if we need a Big Body WR with a long Wing Span. I dont think there is any options in the FA but maybe this next years draft. Any of you guys know anyone the colts could snag now or in the Draft next year.

  8. I agree, we will never forget Peyton. Luck did look really good, and was able to avoid some pressure by running...Its nice to see that luck not only will be teams with his arm but can also get out and gain a few yards on his feet. The Season looks like it will be a good one based of this one game

  9. I am thinking the Colts do not need to come out with a future No.1 WR in this particular draft. They can wait till the next draft for that.

We could however get a good No.2 or No.3 potential from the draft for a ceiling.

    thoughts???

Im not disagreeing with you, but just curious what wrs will be in next years draft who are better than this years that you know of? I dont watch college ball and I really dont know any players. I would say not to take a wr this draft just because we have more serious needs I feel that are needed to be filled. so Thats my only reason

  10. For the Broncos,

Week1 primetime Sunday Night game vs Texans

Week2 Primetime Thursday night game vs Chargers

week12 Primtetime Sunday night football vs Ravens

Week16 Primetime Monday night game vs Raiders

Which could be possible, but then they have the Broncos Vs. Saints at 4:15 and the Broncos vs Patriots and 4:15...Which I would think these two games would be primetime for the fact, Brady Vs manning again...and Manning vs Fathers old team.

and it appears the Broncos only play 1 game at 1:00 week 10 vs bengals. I guess if this was true we could be able to watch the colts at 1 most days and Manning at 4

  11. shocking.....thats all i can say.

Yeah Thats about the same here... :edit: crazy, Telling guys to take out crabtree and destroy his acl...that type of stuff damages a player for the rest of their career and puts the thought that they will never be the same in everyones minds. Williams said in that video, this is how we get respect, lol....Williams Were is your respect now as you will be sitting on the couch during the season

  12. I agree with everyone Superstar mode is what I play mainly and then I do franchise, but Seriously I want to be able to make a rookie and build him up to a superstar, like even do the combine and stuff to try to improve your skills before the draft, but yourself up from a rookie 2nd string to a starting superstar, or be a superstar and carry that name through the superstar career, I like everyones Idea...Hey Maybe we all should just get together and write our own football game and send it ea, just have the superstar part of it...you know they did the whole Head coach game with dungy on it....It would be cool I think

  13. Jeremy Ross finished his career second on Cal's all-time punt return average list with an average of 15.2 yards per punt return (31 returns, 471 yards, one TD), behind only the 16.7 posted by DeSean Jackson (2005-07) ... posted 2,287 all purpose yards (201 rushing, 764 receiving, 471 punt return, 851 kick return), with an average of 53.2 yards per game ... played in 43 games with 14 starts, recording 57 catches for 764 yards (13.4 ypr) and three touchdowns ... also contributed 42 kick returns for 851 yards (20.3 avg) as well as 25 rushes for 201 yards (8.0 ypr) and two scores. Ross was the winner of the 2010 Henry J. "Tiny" Bates Memorial Award given annually by the Cal Grid Club of Sacramento.

  14. This might already be news to all, but what do you guys think of the TE Kyle Miller added. He went to Mount Union the same school Garcon was from and the same school a friend of mine is currently attending Nick Driskill. Its kind of cool for me knowing Driskill and hopefully being able to watch someone he went to college with in a colts uniform.

Miller was picked up by jacksonville along with another mt union player Cecil shorts. but then was released, so to me it doesnt appear he will be a started but more added for just depth, yes?

  15. Irsay also said that he wanted to keep manning and wanted manning as a colt, but look at the ending of that situation. I think Irsay is seeking more Media Attention, or some sort of Attention. He knows who he wants, just like he knew he was going to move on away from peyton.

To me I think the move away from Peyton was the best choice, to be honest, Luck will be the guy. As most of you know I like(d) RG3 more than I did luck, but I got to say, Lucks pro day was impressive, his speed for his build is impressive, his attitude and confidence is impressive, and to me I think that if we didnt take Luck, I might even be a little upset, because we let great player slip away

  16. Im pretty sure Peytons last game as a colt, went down as a loss in the playoffs against the Jets, during the wildcard round. Right? If this is true I was actually fortunate enough to be at the game and see the last of Mannings colt career. This is the same game that caldwell made the bizarre timeout with so many odd seconds left on the clock.

Sucks, Because I was hoping Manning would leave The colts with at least a good win, but didnt happen!

    Is this True?

  17. I like the Idea of just trying to get Fleener with out Clark, I dont think he really needs a mentor, Although Id love to have clark back but His ability to stay healthy the past few seasons is really what makes me want to keep away from dallas, unless of course we cant get anyone else

for example say there are 2 free agents: Clark and I guess we can say Shockey if he is a FA. Id choose clark everytime. But Id really just like for them to shoot for Fleener and leave clark behind
