I cant see Drew Playing In Indy anyways but if something crazy or bizarre would happen, that would be the most bizarre thing to happen. I think anyways

Fair options.
A ) The Saints with franchise Brees before the let him go. That's a given.
B ) I wouldn't trust putting a huge investment into Matt Flynn absent a west coast offense being installed and Arians isn't well-versed in the WCO like other coaches are. It would remind me a bit of Kevin Kolb getting big money and going out to Arizona and not quite living up to the contract. Yeah it's only one year so far for him and it he was injured, but the only way I would want any part of Flynn would be in the WCO and that won't be happening.
yeah true, I didnt even think about the style of offense we would run with him, or the style he is use to. but I like the Kolb comparision, lol but Yeah it was a thought and I felt a pretty good one until you look at the whole picture

Brees is good/great...but he's no spring chicken either. If we play a QB not named Manning it should be for the long term future. Brees would not be that.
Yeah I am aware of that as well, but isnt there a guy that everyone was hyped up about for this years draft that said he isnt entering till next year, if we had drew and a better d, do we have a chance at getting a qb next year?

Yeah I seen the same thing, and I even said something to one of my friends...I said "When Newtons option to run isnt there and he is forced to throw, the throws are really off and the ones that are in range of reciever are not right on the "numbers" as others say. So Yeah I agree it looked rough for him out there. and I honestly dont know if he is Franchise Material

Manning more than likely will not be coming back and almost everyone thinks we should get luck. But what if:
We trade our draft pick to someone for more draft picks and build a stronger defense, release players like Brackett and whoever else. Then as for our qb option, get Drew Brees from Free Agency, Its a stretch I know but Hey, any thing seems possible. Have a stronger defense and a High Power Qb. could probably use some draft picks to help build where ever we are weak

Trade our pick again for more picks build a stronger D still and pick up Matt Flynn. He is a cheaper option, not to old(I dont think) and he seems to be ready to start.

yeah Eli can have to rings and I dont think he will be considered better than peyton..Look at Brady, He has 3 or 4 rings right? and I still dont think he is better.
you have to divide qb's into 2 seperate groups I think: The statistic Qb's like Manning and then the Championship Qb's like Brady and Big Ben.
So I dont think you can compare Eli to Manning just because he has 2 rings, but you can compare him to Big Ben and Brady. Although this game is played to win championships, there still needs to be the division of qb's when talking greatness IMO

I am watching his press conference now....and so far I like what he will bring to the table, he has a good sense of humor and a fire in his eyes to make this team an elite team for years to come it seems, at least to me it does

Yeah I am excited...
but, I have to say I am watching NFL network..just as I turned to the channel it appeared that Dieon Sanders and Rich were in a heated arguement of some sort about eli playing against the colts "nemisis"..Dieons response was something like Colts vs pats isnt that big of a rivally so it should relate to eli or something....What is Dieons problem with Colts...it always seems like he has a problem with them..and for some reason he rides the Patriots(Brady's) jock strap pretty tight..Why?
Im all for eli winning this super bowl and but yet, I know everyone will say he will over shadow peytons legacy!

As GM: I would hire Jim Tressell as HC, simply because he can handle clock management.
Next, I would hire Jack Del Rio as DC. He would provide strong leadership and a thorough knowledge of the AFC South.
Then, for OC I suppose I would retain Clyde, unless I could somehow get Carmichael.
If I could choose Id take Mike Zimmer for HC, Del Rio for DC, and I think I would keep Clyde as well

I think it makes a good story for whatever teams end up going, and how they are some what related to indianapolis or the colts
whether it be the rival with Patriots, or a member of our Ring of Honor is Coaching the Niners, or Eli playing on big brothers turf, or the bitter story all baltimore fans hate colts for, and thats stealing their franchise. Excited for this weekend games.

But even More Id like Baltimore to Play Eli.
Rich Eison had an interesting point..We all know Patriots and Colts is considered one of the top rivals..So if New England Goes they have to play on one of their biggest rivals field for the big game.
He also pointed out we all Know if the Giants go Eli will be playing in Peytons house to win the big game.
He then stated, That if Baltimore goes they would have to go to the house of the "franchise" that they once claimed theirs to win the superbowl.
and finally He mentioned that if The 49s come their HC Jim Haurbaugh " Captian Comeback" is in the Ring of honor in Indianapolis.
So whichever two teams play in the superbowl, they Ironicly have some ties with indianpolis..Interesting

Why cant we keep peyton...Why is it he cant come and be a colt next year.... It really gets annoying seeing people say we dont need to bring him back over and over again..
Sorry I think he will be back. And I hope he retires a colt...thats all I would like for Peyton. This era has been nothin but about Peyton. So why not finish this era right and finish it when he retires, Not saying we should continue to have a poor defense or whatever.
But Build around the star of our team instead of ditching our star for someone who hasnt made a professional name for them selves

Yeah, New Gm is in...Caldwell could be out! Who fills in his shoes(not really that big of shoes to fill).
People question Why we want fisher...Well...Fisher is a better candidate than some one like Hue Jackson, or Tony sparano.
Would you rather see those guys on the sidelines or Fisher?

1st. I didnt know if to post this in NFL only or Colts section, so Seeing how it has something to do with the colts...I went with Colts section.
2nd. Fisher has Visited with Dolphins and the Rams. He even toured the Rams Facility, but he hasnt confirmed he is taking their coaching position available.
Question:
1.Do you guys think it could possible that he is wanting to see what Irsay is doing with caldwell?
2.Do you guys think he really wants to come to Indy if Manning is back?

Picking the Giants over the packers is a stretch but, The Giants Defense looked pretty good today, is it good enough to stop rogers?
I think the game will be decided on if the giants d can throw rogers off, or if eli can bust the packers d wide open
