  1. I know exactly the one and it was more than likely that play... Luck appeared to be pancaked in half on himself, i held my breath at the time but Luck seemed to just bounce up from it with no look of pain on his face.... And he finished the game looking fine... Adrenaline I guess?

Yeah, that's the play I'm referring to. He was bent over on himself. I wasn't sure he was going to get up.

  2. I dont think this is actually season ruining... It's a shame it happened just as Andrew seemed to be finding his groove, but I trust Hasselbeck to win at least 3 of those 5 games, assuming Luck is out the full 6 weeks...

If Pittsburgh have big Ben back, that might be a guaranteed loss, but Tampa, Jax and Houston "SHOULD" be wins.... I think Hasselbeck could manage the Falcons game considering their recent form...

4 - 1 in that stretch with Hasselbeck in isnt an insane or crazy suggestion...

I agree. I think we still have a chance of making the playoffs. Luck can heal and get some rest.

  3. What's odd about can is that he seems to be 2 people.

Off the field, he's quiet and humble..

    On the field..he's an all-time showboat..and egomaniac..

....I worry about the hits he takes..a lot like Luck. Cam's going to get knocked out.

My dad said the same thing about him off the field. I've never seen him off the field. I only know the showboat Newton. Perhaps my opinion would be different, but still think a little more humility (on field) wouldn't hurt.

  4. lol just sore losers. They're tired of being beaten by the Colts.

No excuse, but you know that has to be frustrating. The Colts must have looked like easy pickins with all that has transpired.

  5. If we keep this up then I'm predicting 10-6. All we gotta do is beat 1 of Pittsburgh or Atlanta. Because other than that we play a bunch of nobodies. I think we can definitely win out though. But to play it safe I'm saying 10-6.

I think we can take Atlanta. They started off hot, but going down hill it appears. We started at the bottom of the hill and heading up. We'll pass them by on the way to the top. :)

Just wave to them as we go by... :hat: or tip of the hat. Didn't see a properly waving emoticon.

  6. I was worried that Teddy might get hurt in this game. Hopefully he will be okay. We have some really tough games coming up. We need him. He does not have FF-good numbers (Fantasy Football, that is), but he makes plays when we need it.

I don't participate in FF, so I can't offer much of a comment there. But, making plays that count in the game is all that really matters. I hope he recovers quickly too.

  7. This guy is so obnoxious and annoying. Celebrates after every first down, makes dumb gestures, tears apart the Packers sign saying it's disrespectful. he acts like a high schooler.

I really hope they tear apart like every year. The fans start talking trash all of a sudden and they can't even fill up their stadium.

Be a role model. You're a grown man. Another reason I am so happy to have Andrew luck. Please don't give any reasoning behind it. There's no excuse.

I don't like Fig Newton either. Too much of a showboat, IMO. Sure, he's doing well this season, but a little modesty wouldn't hurt.

  8. yeah.  the stat they showed the other day.  Since Brady came back from his knee injury NE is 44-4 at home.  that is unreal.

Yeah, NE is good at home. As is Denver (just glanced and if I counted correctly, Denver has only lost 2 regular season home games since Peyton joined), Seattle. Probably a couple/few more. There are a few teams with better than average advantage when playing home.

  9. exactly- you play to win regardless. It's only mid season and all the chips haven't even fallen yet.  Actually NE was down to 4 linemen yesterday and had to use a TE for the 5th coupled with Lewis out will force NE to adjust to a new offense. 8 chips still on the table to be played :)

That's terrible. I hope they work things out quickly.

  10. Let's be real about this.... everyone would have had to have gone through NE anyways...

I don't believe that to be the case. NE can certainly be defeated. They aren't as of yet, but they're not without flaws and weaknesses. And I'm not suggesting they won't go undefeated, but there are a couple of teams left on their schedule that have a good chance of beating them. i.e. Denver at Denver won't be an easy game for NE. The Bengals or Denver could still get HF. Either way, I'd rather face someone else at their HF than NE. Not because I don't think NE can be defeated, I just think they're more difficult to beat at home.
