      Got to see em with Larry Carlton play all of The Royal Scam a few years ago. Best of the 3 times I've seen the Dan. The drum break in AJa always brings the house down.

      I think I just ruined the surprise on the bass solo by Freddie Washington I just saw it from a week ago with Steely Dan on YouTube, jikes...

      That'll happen, but as far as I can tell, he play his bit in the middle of a few different tunes, depending on the night. Josie is usually it. Love the slight slap/funk thing going on in that riff. It's kinda tricky at first, but after awhile it became the first thing I'd play when messing around with a bass.
