  1. I wont go so far as to say we need to sign him but would it be nice to have some more talent with favorable conditions in regards to the cap situation... yes.

If he succeeds then the problem becomes... how do we keep him? Or do we? I just don't know if these are distractions we need right now or after the season is over.

Regardless... any speculation as to whom the four interested team are? I have no clue.

  2. WOWWW. But he said he was "Good". He said he was "Good"!

It depends on the question that is asked to determine what "I'm good" really means...

How ya feeling today? "I'm good."

Would you like fries with that? "I'm good"

Obviously he was more along the lines of wanting fries with that.

  3. If you think about it... We gave them a 2016 6th round pick and let them try TRich for the summer. We murdered them in this trade!

Maybe them having TRich for the summer made this seem more like a 2020 7th round pick that becomes a 2016 6th round pick if TRich could hit a hole and gain more than 32 yards.

    I'd take that deal!

  4. Considering McFadden had back to back seasons of 1000 yards, granted it's been a couple of years. I'm not sure why Richardson is even being brought up. McFadden has shown that he could make a pretty bad line look some what decent. Richardson? McFadden's downfall has been his health, not his ability, and that's clearly why I said IF he stays healthy.

True. I was thinking of at least one season where McFadden was pretty amazing when I wrote that. No fight from me here. Just threw it out there. :)

  5. He hasn't had an OL like Dallas' either. Whatever he did in Oakland is pretty much irrelevant now.

Then the Cowboys better go sign TRich since the OL makes an entire career irrelevant.

I'm not saying he won't be good but, let's not put lipstick on a pig and take it to the dance.

  6. If they would change the preseason/season setup a lot of things would have to change as well IMO.

    18 games

    2 bye weeks

    63 man team rosters

Games would likely be added to the front of the season and not the back.(ok, i guess)

I imagine the addition of 10 players to the roster would have an effect on the salary cap so expect changes there.(getting worse)

Lastly, the very real chance that exciting teams that get locked into the playoffs early give you a watered down product as they coast into the post season.(very bad)

  7. I love these kind of threads. Seeing the people shun him for playing for the Patriots is hilarious.

I also heard he switched from Bud Light to Miller Lite as well... THE UNMITIGATED GALL!

:sarcasm: I'll sing your praises while you play for the Colts and drink Bud Light but, drinking Miller Lite with the Patriots is just unforgivable.  :sarcasm:

    Also... LOL @ Wayne Brady.

  8. Thanks for your feedback. I'm not a Colts fan, but there was speculation that he may not make the team. I am not following Colts training camp; therefore, I am not aware if how he is doing. Thanks again.

No problem. Sorry if I came across as rude. I was not trying to be. I did assume you were privy to Carters situation though. He is gonna have be show a lot of flash in the preseason games to get teams calling about a trade.

  9. Would the Colts trade Duron Carter?

For what? He is so unproven that trading him would be like chopping off our own foot. There is no benefit in it for us. I say this with it being understood that he will not fetch a high enough pick to make it worth our while.

  10. The stats say otherwise, or at the least his hands are as inconsistent as Hilton's....

Aside from the Skins play bring up another drop of his...I mean it was one play out of 82 targets.

You're the guy who only remembers his bad beats in poker right?

    Serious question here.

Are his hands as inconsistent as Hilton's hands as you say?

I don't know how many drops either player had.

I know Fleener had 92 targets and 51 grabs and Hilton had 131 targets and 82 grabs.

However, these numbers don't really tell us how consistent they are... just that a play went their way X number of times.

How many of these targets were drops?

  11. For the love of....

You know his drop % was on a par with TY last season but I don't see you ragging on him? Or Allen's was more than double Fleener's but again you don't rag on him. Never mind that scarily, in large part to Wayne's injury, he's been the 2nd best receiver on the team by far.

I don't care what he did last year. The truth is there are more mouths to feed this year so he needs to make his targets count. He is not going to be the 2nd best receiver this year. He may have 92 or so targets again but, only catching 51 of those with an offense like this year's is going to be hard to ignore.

  12. Thanks for breaking those out. This one is what I was talking about with Cam Johnson. He gets blown up on the playside, and everyone else is useless because of it.

I have the Tipton catch and the Dorsett fumble as well but they seemed to be pretty straight forward. If you want them I can add them for viewing.
