Getting Mack would be tremendous for the Colts.

I hope he opts out.      And I hope we sign him on the first day of free agency.

If he opts out we don't have to wait until the start of free agency because he is a vested veteran. You dig?

Just because he doesn't want to go back to the chargers doesn't necessarily mean he dislikes Williams. Also a few year deal worth millions might change his mind too. I'm sure Williams will be wanting Grigson to bring Weddle in. I'd be all for it.

I can see that being the case. I just don't know how far this feud goes. Certainly an assistant coach can't be a major sticking point in his case against the Chargers.

Hmm. Wonder if the Colts will pursue Eric Weddle.

I think we should. He would love to play for a contender and give us at least 2 good years. Besides, if Pagano can squeeze more out of Mike Adams, I think the ceiling is higher with Eric Weddle, IMO.

I am certain John Pagano gave Chuck all the info he wanted prior to this hire.

I would be all for bringing in Weddle for a year or two but, do you really think he would want to follow an ex-Chargers employee to Indianapolis? Weddle and the Chargers had a falling out and I believe I read in an article somewhere that he wants nothing to do with the Chargers any longer. Following Williams to Indy seems a bit too close to home IMO. I could be wrong but, it might still sting him a bit.

I didn't know you could have a roster that huge!

Yeah, It could be bigger so as to rely on more no namers but, we are not that hardcore.

A friend and myself would like to devise a way to create a league that does not draft individual RBs but, allows you to draft Team RBs. This way if your workhorse goes down you are not boned for that week or for the rest of the season in theory. This way you get points no matter who runs the ball.

  5. Champ here! Huge roster league here. PPR. KO/PR yards count. 11-2 regular season. 4 game playoffs. Didn't lose a single week in the playoffs. Boom!

    QB - Aaron Rodgers

    QB - Alex Smith

    RB - Doug Martin

    RB - Danny Woodhead

    RB/WR - Odell Beckham Jr.

    RB/WR - Tim Hightower

    WR - Jordan Mathews

    WR - Tyler Lockette

    WR/TE - Deandre Hopkins

    WR/TE - Eric Decker

    TE - Will Tye

    TE - Coby Fleener

    D/ST - Texans

    D/ST - Lions

    K - Steven Hauschka

    K - Mike Nugent

    Bench

    Jeremy Hill

    TJ Yeldon

    Giovani Bernard

    John Brown

    Darren Sproles

    Tyrod Taylor

    Brian Hoyer

    Keyshawn Martin

    Cameron Artis-Payne

  6. The look of the Hallowen Whooper from Burger King and Im sure the taste.

Oh and Mallett on the sideline acting like spoiled little brat

You know what that whopper does to you on the way out, right? Maybe you don't want to know...

  7. I'd happily take a Dungy clone. Dungy>>> Pagano

Doesn't even matter. I am tired of seeing the Colts go after the quiet and reserved "good guy" head coaches. They make for a good image and just barely squeak by in categories that lead to championships.

If Pagano is on his way out then the Colts would be wise to go after a veteran coach that has some emotion. I wanted Rex Ryan but that ship has sailed. Todd Bowles would be able to put together a defense worth watching.

  8. I wouldn't mind bringing him back but not now. He has his suspension to serve and if we wait until after week 1 is over then any contract he signs won't be guaranteed.

Leave the football decisions to those that do the job and try to enjoy what we have. The sky is not falling here.

Besides, Bradshaw would not be used in near the capacity he was while with us previously. Having pointed that out... Why bother then?

Honestly, just think it through... Its non-beneficial seeing as you would have to waive a healthy player to take on a high risk/low reward crap shoot of a player coming off of suspension.

He is an emergency list type of player now and you don't sign those players now. The hope is you never sign them. That's the way it should be.
