  1. You didn't.

    I did.

To me the following four plays are entirely different.

8 yard pass to Allen with 35 YAC for a touchdown.

43 yard pass to Allen in the end zone.

31 yard pass to Allen with 12 YAC.

22 yard pass to Allen with 21 YAC.

All 4 are 43 yard pass plays wih 4 different throws.

My prediction is short throw by the QB that turns into a long gain for a TD.

Of course I would have different definitions of short/intermediate/deep, so I was forced to be accurate.

Ah, ok. I get it now. Very specific! I would love it if one of these predictions is spot on!

  2. Short pass(6-8yds) to Allen, but based on your verbage the play will exceed 40 yards.

where did i say a short pass will exceed 40 yards?

Sure, i know a short pass should be way less than 20 yards but but i wanted to cover everything in 3 simply options.

However, i like how specific everyone in being on how this feat will take place...

  3. Just for bragging rights. Who will catch Luck's first preseason TD pass? if you want to show off include one of the following with your prediction:

    Short pass(0 - 20)

    Intermediate pass(21 - 40)

    Long pass(41+)

Could be fun with all the different variables. I suspect this may be a 'Jim Irsay Twitter Contest Question' at some point this week so why not get a jump start.

    Annnnnd................ GO!

  4. Hahaha. I read this last night and forgot everything by the time I woke up. I had to read it again! Now that I have jogged my memory it was a good read the 2nd time around as well.

My boss has been a life long Rams fan and he is pretty adamant about King being a bust. I admit his play in STL was lacking but I think he was a good value pickup in a depleted core of CBs. I would love to rub it in my boss's face if he happens to make some fireworks for us on the field.

This season, I am looking forward to watching mainly the offense go through its trials. Next year, I am gonna be so amped to see us put more pieces in place to emulate a Steelers/Ravens type defense.

Makes me wonder if we as fans will be able to see any impressions left by Dungy's regime. We are gonna be down right NASTY!

  5. I love all of the different takes on how this bundle is going to work. All replys have been thoughtful and different from the rest. If it indeed helps LOS keep the green and yellow ticket holders down then I am all about it. The Colts fans need to fill the stadium and give our team the boost they need at every possible moment.

LOS should be for monsters only. :highfive:

  6. Who said anything about being #1? He asked what rookie QBs started and amounted to anything.

Sorry about that. I totally read the post wrong. Hey, at least I am big enough to admit it, right? Not to mention I am using one of my limited posts to declare an apology.

Does everyone have post restrictions? I am a bit confused by the inner working of this forum. When(if ever) will I be able to post my own threads? I sent a message to JJ asking but have not recieved a response...

  7. Collie= Collie lol. I honestly don't know who Collie could be Compared to. I think Hilton will be used as an Antonio Brown as many people have posted in here or mentioned it.

Good call. Collie = Collie. Why didn't I think of that! I am gonna love watching these guys catch and run!

  8. No.

If we wanted a qb for luck to sit behind for a year we would have found away to keep Peyton for a year.

I don't believe in this statement at all! We are all entitled to our opinions but this opinion has no ground to stand on. The Colts organization would not have ponied up 28 million dollars in bonus money to keep him on for one year then trade him or cut him.

Enough about that. Now let's talk about this McNabb nonsense.

We have our backup QBs entrenched so adding McNabb is a pipe dream. Basically we would have to have Luck and Stanton go down with injury for the Colts to even consider McNabb. I hope McNabb does gets on with a team at some point but, I think he garners the attention of teams that will need him to start immediately. Having said that, he will probably stay on the market until a team's starter goes down or is proven ineffective.

    Likely suitors in my opinion:

    Browns

    Jags

    Raiders

    Bolts

There are a couple of other teams I can see him going to but it would depend on their W-L record at the time he is needed. I can see teams with winning records giving him a look to keep them in playoff contention.

Sorry if I rustled some jimmies with this post. :rantoff: :whiteflag:

  9. so far im drafting luck and wayne. any other guys worth drafting.

this is what i keep getting in my mocks

    QB-vick,luck

    RB-mccoy,mcfadden,turner,greene

WR=welker, demaryius thomas, colston, floyd, wayne, randy moss

    TE-finley

    D-texans, eagles

    K=prater

I'll take whomever I can get. As it sits RIGHT NOW all Colts players are spaced out far enough to get who you wnat a round early or if you like to gamble maybe a round later.

I for one would to try to get these guys in this order: Wayne>Collie>Brown>Luck>Fleener. If one goes before I can get them then its no big deal. I am moreso hoping that Wayne and Collie could make for a decent trade proposal after the week 4 bye.
