  1. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000050045/article/nfl-power-rankings-atlanta-falcons-rise-chicago-bears-fall

In these power rankings you can see obvious flaws, such as:

    - Colts emblem at #10 next to the 'Broncos" team name

    - 'Tebow' next to the Jets emblem INSTEAD of 'Jets'

    - No emblem for Steelers, Bucs OR Colts.

    - Eagles emblem next to the Bills team name

    - Broncos emblem next to the Cardinals team name

    - Saints emblem next to the Rams team name

That must be some goooooooood cheeba! :spit:

  2. I placed my mock in the attachment.

I waited and got pass catching RBs in round 5 and on.

If Bush can stay healthy for the majority of the year I think he has consistent upside.

Sproles has always been consistent with 10+ points/gm on average.

Handcuffed Martin and Blount aka this years Charles and Jones.

WRs are stacked so I could have some trade offers if I wanted to upgrade at RB.

  3. Getting to see Luck do some damage to the Rams was nice, but I am keeping my expectations tempered. What I would like to see this Sunday is more TE production and some productive runnung against a stout defense.

I would imagine our defense will do well against their offense seeing as we are a similar product with Arians calling the shots. For our defense it should be very similar to what they have defended during TC. However, our offense has burned our defense several times... should be a good test!

Final score will be similar to the PHI-PIT game last week. 24-23(something like that) Colts win!

So, what do you want to see on Sunday?

  4. Pretty unlikely for things to unfold as you have them. Stanton will want a chance to start somewhere and that isn't happening in Indy. Also if Harnish developes , he too will want a shot after 3-4 years. The odds of Stanton being here 4 years and Harnish beyond that are really remote considering Andrew Luck is 22 years old. I think if Harnish pans out , you will see Stanton gone after 2012 and Harnish traded after his 3rd year. If harnish looks to be no mofre than a back-up , then he could be resigned after his 4th year. Usually if a guy is a great backup , someone will want to give him a shot at starting. Thus the 3 year scenario.

Yeah. I didn't go into the detail you did, but basically I was thinking the same thing. I just don't see Stanton starting anywhere anytime soon. I don't think Harnish will make a big enough jump to catch the eye of scouts either, but he could still be traded for something down the line.

  5. I know all the hype surrounding Andrew Luck, and rightfully so, but I have to give Mr. Irrelevant some credit as well. He didn’t attempt many throws but did connect for a 30 yd Stripe to Jeremy Ross. Should be an interesting battle for the 2nd QB spot. Even though I believe Stanton will beat him out, Stanton needs to be on his P's and Q's. These next 3 games will be telling indeed.

We are gonna keep 3 QBs, aren't we?

If so then the answer is that Stanton will be the backup with Harnish behind him. We traded for Stanton and I believe there was a mutual agreement that he is the veteran backup.

Harnish is going to be a great developing tool for the Colts... a side project this year if you would like to say it that way. However, if Stanton proves ineffective when/if needed to play in an elongated regualr season role then and only then will Harnish see playing time.

My opinion is that the Colts want Harnish to be the long term answer to Luck's backup while Stanton is a short term insurance policy that can be let go at a moments notice. I would guess that Stanton will be expendible after 3 or 4 years(if he is with the team that long).

  6. http://forums.colts....league-andy246/

^^^ That link right there will lead you to a thread in which our very own 'Colts Football Forum' member, Andy, and others are trying to get 4 more interested people to join our league.

I would just like to say that those 4 interested mystery people that they are people I would like to get to know here on the forum and to please sign up and enjoy a season of fantasy football with your brethren!

It is a 12-team league with three divisions. It appears to be all standard scoring so no surprises, I hope, just good, clean fun!

So go to that thread that I linked at the top here and sign up. Don't forget to leave your team name in that thread so we all can welcome you to the league.

    GO COLTS!

  7. 'The Replacement Refs' here:

    1. Where you from? (Indianapolis, IN)

    2. Job? (Team Leader of outbound truck operations for a well known package delievery service. :shh: )

    3. How long you've been doing fantasy football? (6 years with about 5-10 leagues per year)

    4. Your favorite team? (Homer pick = Colts, Other = Bears, Others this year = Lions, Falcons, Bills)

    5. Your favorite player? (Tough one... Vet = Drew Brees, Rookie = ANDREW LUCK :foam: )

    6. Why you decided to do Fantasy Football, and why this league? (I decided to play fantasy football starting 6 years ago as a way to get more involved while watching the sport. I used it as a tool to broaden my knowledge past my hometown Colts. I joined this league because I would like to be a contributing member of the forum every week and doing this should open up so great conversation).

  8. Deep to Reggie who shuts up the experts who keep talking about him not being a deep threat anymore.. Second guess is deep to Avery.

Can't be Avery... he won't be playing. No biggie though... he will get his. Lawd I hope he stays healthy!

  9. That Justin King interception would kinda shock me considering he has only got 1 in three years and spent the rest of the time getting thrown on at will, I dont think the Rams have announced there starters for preseason week 1 yet at least I dont see it by visiting there site

This is true. I was on my tablet and didn't dig that much. I used a different site called Ourlads.com

Mostly, that part was just good fun and imagination. A small opportunity to get hyped up about our defense for once.

  10. I just realized that i have not given my prediction along with the rest of you.

After much undecided flip flopping i have come to a random conclusion...

A TE mismatch with RCB Jenkins is a likely spot to boost confidence and morale.

My guess is a short pass to the right for Allen. After he gets past his defender he will either deal with Jenkins or have a WR run interference on Jenkins leaving him a step behind Allen.

    TOUCHDOWN!!!

    **SPOILER ALERT**

Justin King takes one back on his former team for a pick 6 also bolstering confidence and morale.

Yup, I just ruined the whole game for y'all. My bad!!!

Who needs DVR when you have NLM?

  11. I don't really mind if we lose. If everyone stays healthy and walks away with usable experience then a 'L' can be just as good as a 'W'.

However, I hope it stays close and we can win it with a boot for 3.

  12. Luck will pull a Brett Favre, and his first completion will be to himself. He will throw up a pass, it will be batted at the line straight back to him, and he will catch it. Unlike Brett Favre, though, Luck will scramble 80 yards for the touchdown!

Luck to Luck 80 yard touchdown pass

Gosh! I would hope not. A 80 yard scramble would probably take too much out of Luck and hinder his performance for the remaining preseason snaps. There will be many years for spectacular feats, but I would imagine at some point he would run out of bounds. Just being realistic.
