    =O I just learned something new, i didn't knew the difference btw Waived and Relased XD

    Never really thought about it like that myself. I always thought they were synonymous and I would just do some extra leg work to make sure the player was vested(ie. not on their first contract, i assume)

    I don't know why but, this got me wondering where Pags will coach if he is let go... hmmm... The only one I see right now would be the Dolphins. Long live the U.

    e.g. perhaps you meant something along the lines of "Angerer playing as a LB, good name for position"

    No. Not so literal.

     

    An example would be... say... a humorous name for a QB... such as Dropback McThrowhard.

     

    You can get pretty close to literal with the names as well. I think a good humorous/literal name for a QB could be DB Carver.

    So, what if players had position specific names or names that describe a physical trait or event they were involved in? Just for some fun in the down time of the NFL season... what names can you come up with?

     

    I hope this goes without saying but, lets not get out of hand with this in the name of humor. I'd love to see what names you come up with but, if it is too risque for the forum... maybe you should just PM those names to me for a good laugh. Share the rest here. :)

    Moncrief - 6'2''

     

    Or, this singing could be about all of the weird nonsense that is being spewed up above right now.

    I really don't see how you infer that from one interview. Just because the guy doesn't answer every question with the same rhetoric every other player does doesn't mean he's bound to fly off the handle.

    This guy went from being homeless to a star football player at Harvard with great grades. Something tells me he knows how to control himself.

    Good to hear. I stand by what I said. No explanation needed really. Sometimes a feeling is just a feeling.

    Did anyone watch the first interview that Hodges did after he was drafted? I think it may have been after a practice or something? Wow. He seemed like he was SUPER nervous being on camera and his demeanor seemed a bit odd to me when he was asked and answering questions. I'm sure he was just really nervous, I would be too, but wow. I've never heard much of him before but I always root for the under dogs to make it through.

    I know what you are talking about. it struck me as odd as well.

     

    We can always hope for the best and give him a pass for his first locker room interview but, in some way I feel like this subtle behavior/demeanor could have implications in the future.

     

    I have nothing to substantiate this with... it was just an intuitive feeling as I watched him under pressure in front of the cameras.
