On point with my trade areas so far. Except for the potantial mariotta trade. That trade would have been complete madness!

Chargers taking Gordon here. leapfrogging the 9ers. What say you?
-
If he's there....I wouldn't be upset if we take him
This pic along with this investigation thing makes me say no to drafting him. Now... UDFA is a different story.

Danny Shelton looks like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's long lost daughter.

My goodness, Boomer. It's not Jeffreys. His name is Alshon Jeffery.
Waynes to Minny. They could have 2 solid corners for the next few years
I feel like Boomer has lost his mojo for several years now. He is approaching "old man rambling on and on" status.

Pitt was the burger place. Roethlisberger, Hines (Heinz) Ward, playing on Heinz Field...it all worked so well.
They could have a double berger with Cheesel(Keisel as in Brett Keisel). Put it all on a sesame seed PUN!

Mettenberger wants a trade
Pittsburg loves bergers!!!

Colts should offer their 2nd for Wilkerson now
Think it would take our 1st.
-
Now that Williams is in New York, Mo Wilk to Indy please!
For what though? I am game!
-
Jets take Williams. That defense is gonna be beastly. That entire division is becoming highly competitive
Even if they deal Wilkerson? Not saying they will but, I think the door is open more now than it ever was.

Every time Kiper says something, Gruden smiles like "you're so stupid"
Yeah, but he feels like this...
-
Wait... Williams to the Jets? That's a filthy good D they're going to have. Best get your running Uggs on Tom.
If Williams goes to the Jets then Wilkerson is gone in a trade and the Jets get back into the first round. Jets could be looking good if this draft goes that way for them.

SCHERFF! Oh a-my a-god!

Surprised no trades?
a bit. I only expected one to this point. I expect one between 5-15 and 3 between 20-32.

Thank god the draft is a mere 21:44:00 away!
I just thought I would start some conversation and pick fellow forum members' brains on this subject as I am seeing some possible player moves being made during the draft for the right price... ie. Mychal Kendricks, Muhammad Wilkerson, Martellus Bennett, Adrian Peterson(maybe; doubt it), and Dion Jordan(sooo close, Philly!)
What I want to know is how you all feel about the idea of mortgaging most of a draft for a couple of proven players in their craft. Not saying it has to be us but, I imagine it is the best way to get a good gauge on the subject matter.
Rumor is Kendricks can be had for a 2nd and who knows what the going price is for Wilkerson. Regardless, they are both filling a need and have the track record to back themselves up with. At what point would you say "We are giving too much away for PLAYER/s X/Y/Z"?
I guess what I really want to know is... where is the line? where do you stop being excited and start feeling agitated at the loss of current/future picks? I imagine a deal to land Wilkerson would involve high value picks this year and in the future as well. Where do you say "NOOOOPE!"?
Feel free to give other examples of players for picks(real or imagined scenarios). All I ask is that your musings into the subject matter be serious in consideration.
SIDE NOTE
I have seen some mention Kenny Vacarro in a similar situation as I have described. I remember thinking how much I hoped we could have drafted him but, his NFL career has not been so good. In this scenario Vacarro has no track record to back himself up with. What would it take for you to be ok with his acquisition in a draft trade? Has he done too little for you to even consider it?
SIDE SIDE NOTE
This is just me being a goof ball but, I keep wondering what it would be like to draft Gerod Holliman and James Sample as our new FS and SS duo. They played together at Louisville and I wonder what impact it would have on an NFL team to keep them together if any at all. Probably none but, it was cool to keep Luck together with Fleener and even Whalen. It would be neat to see some previous chemistry work for us on the defensive side, ya know?
-
I would rather have Gurley. Kids gonna be a PB!
Peter Pan, Jif, or Skippy?
And does that mean that Luck is gonna be the Jelly?

Eagles just picked up Fletcher Cox 5th year option so does this put this rumor to bed partially?
I was wondering the same thing. I assume it doesn't matter as the money follows the player in a trade unless otherwise agreed upon. Regardless, the receiving team would strike a new deal within the season.

I'd expect Chip to retire before going back to college.
To prove his system will work at the Iron Acres Professional Athlete's Senior Living Cener... IF and only if he gets complete control over the medication prescription distributions

This rumor is so crazy the more I think about it.
The Browns
The Browns are so bad at QB eval its not even funny. Josh McCown(the hottest QB...from two years ago) and Johnny 8ball(#22 pick from last draft) and now they are gunning for a QB who has not lived up to his potential and has not completed a full season for two years for the #19 pick.
I have been wondering if this happens and then Bradford is like "NOPE!" and refuses to play for the Browns. Then again, he needs to rehab his value.
The Titans
The Titans would be pulling off one of the greatest heists I could ever recall. With their back to back picks I think they very well could cut into our plans pretty heavily. If Landon Collins is still there... he is a Titan and one of the offensive tackles go to them as well.
Or... they trade one or both of those picks to acquire a slew of mid round talent. Seeing as this draft is so deep they could very well set themselves up for an almost complete rehaul and take out the trash post June 1st or not resign impending free agents.
The Eagles
Chip gets his man and spends the rest of the draft making up for his mad science! From the beginning, I felt as though this venture for him was a chance to prove his system can work in the NFL and if it doesn't garner a Super Bowl win within 4 years... he is out! What does he care though... his system will show well with or without a Super Bowl win and a collegiate team will be chomping at the bit to sign him to a contract. Chip is set no matter what lunacy he pulls for the next several seasons!

This made me laugh. I don't know why... but, thanks!
