  1. No it wasn’t and no it’s not. Shane tried to get cute and out coached himself.
  2. One good thing about tonight we should never have to watch Baker in a Colts uniform again.
  3. Browns game because the Colts won it before the refs took it away with some very questionable calls. The falcons game the Colts just got flat out beat. You could say the samething about the Saints, Bengals, both Jags games, or Rams game for example.
  4. No Shane it’s on you for calling a pass play from your backup QB to your practice squad running back. It’s nice Shane holds players accountable but he needs to look in the mirror and hold himself accountable too.
  5. I am not buying the best play an offensive genius could come up with on the season on the line was a throw from your backup QB to your practice squad running back. With the season on the line you need to trust your best players. Look at what the Texans did with Stroud and Collins for example. They didn’t shy away from them because they knew the Colts would be expecting it they dared them to stop it and the Colts failed. I don’t know how many times teams knew Harrison, Wayne, Clark, or Hilton was getting the ball and couldn’t stop it. Shane should have trusted his stars in that situation. Instead he out coached himself which he’s done multiple times this season. Again, I like Shane overall and there is denying the positive impact his coaching had on this team this season but he has things to work on. I hope he does.
  6. No but there is value in going to the playoffs and experiencing them even if you lose.
  7. Yes overall great season just a very disappointing ending.
  8. And it’s not like Taylor and Moss can’t catch or heres a thought why not go to Pittman Shane said just last week if they have to have a pass you know it’s going to Pittman yet tonight when you had to have it nope. Shane tried to be the smartest man in the room and out coached himself.
  9. They played not to lose and lost. All and all same issues we saw all year, played scared to get beat deep only to get beat deep, give up second and third and longs for 1st downs, bad tackling, inconsistent pressure, struggles in the redzone, nothing out of your return game always putting your offense in a hole, and a refusal to take a shot down the field and then Shane trying to be the smartest man in the room only to put coach himself.
  10. He had drop as the announcers pointed out. Yes Minshew could have made a better throw but Goodson could have caught that pass. Also sorry not buying that when your season is literally on the line and you need a yard going with your backup QB to throw to a practice squad RB is the best call you can make.
  11. Yet the play call was to have Goodson in the game at all when you have your all world running back you just paid a tone of money too as an option or at least Moss. So yes play calling was the problem. Play calling also invovles the personal on the play.
  12. I am going to say I like Shane and there is denying the job he did coaching this team this year but tonight’s loss is 100% on him. I was yelling run the ball early when he was determined to let his backup QB throw on them and two drives resulted in pretty much quick three and outs. Then he did run the ball but he got way too stubborn with it. At some point you have to take a deep shot out of play action with it and Troy Aikman was calling for it all night and highlighted all the chances they had to do it yet it never came. Then the Texans adjusted and started stuffing the and yet every 1st down is a run and still no shot to a WR only throwing when forced too. Then he committed coaching malpractice. 4th and 1, rather than run a play you waste a time out trying to draw the other team offsides which never works and lets them rest and get set for fourth and 1. Then he takes Taylor out completely removing running from the options and who does he replace him with? The backup running back who has played well? No he goes to the practice squad scrub back who is known for drops and THROWS it to him who of course drops it. Shane has done a very good job as a whole this year but he has a lot to work on with play calling and realizing you aren’t going to out cute and out smart other coaches in the NFL and end up only out smarting yourself. Thanks to his performance tonight he now has a full off-season to work on it.
  13. Good season very disappointing game react here.
  14. Yep to try to draw them offsides that never works. Then you take Taylor out to telegraph the pass then you throw to a practice squad running back who drops it. Way too much arrogance from Shane.
  15. Tske a freaking shot Shane they have adjusted to the run…
  16. Take a shot. Troy has been calling for it all night and showing all the chances the Colts have passed on.
  17. I am more mad at Shane being too stubborn with the run calls after the Hughes injury, you have them set up to take a shot and he’s not done it.
