Thanks, Bogie. There is so much to be thankful and proud of with this team. One of my favorite years as a Colts fan since I began watching in 70.
You have your modern day Kardiac Kids All those comeback wins reminded me of that Cleveland team from the past.

If Manning wins yet ANOTHER MVP and don't do anything in the post season, what more could you ask for? He got that 4th one that I never thought he deserved (Brees and Favre IMO your two real MVPs of 2009) and look what he did after that in the Super Bowl. It's going to be a joke if gets yet another one and wins nothing after it. 1 Super Bowl win, 1 Super Bowl loss, below .500 record in the playoffs, and 5 MVPs? I just can't understand that at all. He already has more MVP's than anyone in NFL history, yet his post season records really reflect favoritism from the NFL rather than actually earning it. You would think someone with 4 MVP's would have a handful of rings.

I hope Baltimore beats the living day lights out of them.
This time no injury riddled team, this should make it a closer game. There is always hope...

They didn't lay down all year, they fought and fought. This team has so much potential to be winners in the next few years. We needed a team like this, they were fun to watch.
-
At least you made the playoffs. Better than going 7-9 with a QB running up stats to another 5,000 yard season while everyday the fans come up with a new conspiracy theory for every loss, as they can't seem to admit we weren't that good this year.
I had a lot of fun watching this Colts team, it kept my mind very positive and out of the misery from watching the Saints. Sadly I didn't get to see all of this game, but playoffs one and done is better than no playoffs. Who expected them to win 11 games? Surely not me.

Del Rio is not fit for a head coach. He's proved it already.

How many playoff teams did the Bears beat this year? Just how god awful ranked as their offense?
They are not a playoff team at all. They would have got beaten even worse than Minnesota did tonight. Take that bad call away and GB sits on the Number 2 seed with the Niners at Number 3.
-
The Bears are done. Don't matter who they hire, that division is about to regress back to the 1990's. GB will continue to dominate with their only real competition being the Vikings. Oh and the Lions will make a little noise here and there before blowing every game like they usually did.
-
If GB falls down by 10+ it don't matter who is the QB, they will lose.

Oh come on you guys gotta love Irsay. It's hilarious seeing him on twitter and posting funny stuff. I like him cause he's a funny guy.
He and Jerry Jones should get together and go drinking one night, I'd pay to see that!
-
I'm still not sold on Seattle. They were 3-5 on the road. I do think they are a good team but I am still not sold on them. The Niners game was a beat down yes, but look at all the other ones, they were playing crappy teams and scoring 40-50 points on them.

Nothing would make my weekend more than seeing a repeat of the Super Bowl play, come on, Pick Manning off and return it for the win. That would be hilarious seeing him lose to his old team. Don't feel bad, my man Favre did it plenty of times too.

I hate it when the media (or ex players) say that the NFL and MLB are better off when the Cowboys and Yankees are in the hunt. Why can't we (small market teams) enjoy our success without stuff like that being said? If they only want big market teams with big market dollars, they should have never let the rest of us in the league. When we compete and win, we don't need the gurus to say that's a bad thing. It's all about ratings and money, I suppose.
I totally agree with you on that. They always cover those big market teams even when they suck. Look at how ESPN ran the Jets into the ground. They were what, 5-8 and still talking about how good they were? If that was Jacksonville (or any other small market team) they wouldn't care at all. I hate how Dallas is "America's Team" this isn't the 1970's anymore. Even if it was, I'd still hate Dallas, it's like they push that in your face. Oh we're America's Team, we're better than you.
-
Who dat say they gonna beat them Saints?
Oh, that's right.
Sorry just had to! Go ahead and throw something at me

But why even Ponder passing? You have Adrian Peterson! Who will run all over the place! GB cannot stop the run, they proved that over and over this year, just as much as they can't stop deep ball passing. Here we go, GB can't stop Joe Webb running either!

K.C. has a solid runner in Jamaal Charles. Watch Ried ruin his career by not running the ball sort of like how McCoy was left in the cold for Vick to throw 40 passes a game.
The fact is in the big games, he always got out coached. Weather it was Billechek, Fox, Payton, or even Jon Gruden. His game plans were so predictable. Let them get some solid runs, cause you know they aren't going to stay committed to the run game, and go into passing like it's no tomorrow.
I will always believe he lost that Super Bowl for them with his poor clock management. As soon as it was a 10 point game, they acted like it was over. He let the clock keep running. You are down by 10 points, but let the clock tick down to 0 before taking a snap. There was never any sense of urgency in his teams in Philly.
-
I think Reid's downfall has to do with his stubborness to not run the ball. He constantly calls pass plays with a bad QB. He done it with McNabb and continued throughout his Philly tenure. He cost the Eagles a couple of title's IMO with his stubborness. The guy is a good coach and he knows his stuff, but stubborness is what has cost his teams to not win a SB and is what ultimately led to his firing.
He does not like running the ball. Look at all those years McNabb was there. They would have solid runs, and then McNabb goes back to throwing it. This year too, you don't ask Vick to throw it 40-50 times as terrible as his decision making is.
They lost that Super Bowl because of Ried and his poor clock management. That has not changed a bit over the years. There is no hurry whatsoever in his teams. I don't think K.C. is going anywhere with him.

The Falcons have not played a real NFL team since Denver. Look at how they struggled against those cup cakes on their schedule. Washington would run it all over them, and I have not a doubt in my mind Seattle could beat them down.
The problem with the Niners is them wanting to change kickers going into the playoffs, that and the defensive meltdowns like in Seattle and New England.

I don't read Florio if I can avoid it. Keeps me (somewhat) sane. I was convinced that he hates the Colts three years ago.
Yeah I heard that. It's amazing listening to how Saints fans drool and worship Florio when he was one of the first ones to throw them under the bus about the Bounty scandal. I was convinced he hates the Saints, but listening to the fans, you would think Florio shows up to every game. I don't get how they parade around him.

A defensive player will never win the MVP because the voters are too busy trying to crown every QB the greatest thing since a slice of bread.
Offense sells tickets, defense wins championships.

and here I thought I was going to get a another OMG we have to play Peyton if we win! Thread. Props to you my friend for coming up with this. and Props whoever came up with Tecmo Bowl!
There is no way I want him to ever reach another Super Bowl now that he plays for John Elway.
Tecmo Bowl is the bomb! We need another one, I am dead serious. Forget Madden, TSB is so much better, and easier to play. I can't see a WR all the way down the field to throw deep on Madden to save my life.
-
I take it there is a bounty on him, sorry just had to.

I don't get how you can compare the two at all.
It's like comparing the Rolling Stones to the Beatles. Yes, they were around at the same, no they don't sound anything alike. Yes they both made great music.
It's not about who's better with these two, but they are nothing alike except the fact they are good so far.
-
Geez, you would really do that for us?
In all fun yes, I have never won a Super Bowl with them, ever. I've made it to the AFC Championship twice and got beat down.

This is his 3rd injury in just his rookie season, I have a bad feeling about his future. This can't go on forever...
