Its like saying Manning drove for 24-0 in the first half.
Look, like i said, WRs decided the game yesterday. Pats were better, Period.
No it's not. Manning had very little contribution to the 24-0 lead.
-
Yeah the Pats fans will ignore all that.
Only reason Pats are what they are is 2 words - BILL BELICHICK. Period. If they dont have Brady, he will still find a way to win.
That's explains why BB wastes all that cap space on Brady.
-
I saw him on the sideline after going 3 and out for the second straight time in OT (third time in a row if you count regulation) and watched as his special teams recovered a Broncos stupid mistake. Not to mention the drive between those three with 28 seconds to go and they did absolutely nothing.
Then I watched his field goal kicker make a 31 yard chip shot.
Unless you mean when he centered the ball. Yeah that was masterful.
Did you see him drive the Patriots to 31 unanswered points after being down 24-0? If he didn't do that the Broncos could have dropped punts to their hearts desire.
-
Brady did plenty. Look at the numbers. The Patriots were losing 24-0 no thanks to Peyton and he couldn't put them away. Peyton didn't move the ball Brady did. Even in the first half.
-
But Brady DID win the game. What were you people watching?
-
And all they've done since is go to 2 more Superbowls and lead the league in wins. I knew it wouldnt take long for a spygate comment from a new poster. Never fails...
And lost one on a Welker drop to boot.
-
It's almost as if you forget who we're talking about. No, the Pats are fine on defense(especially against a well known opponent)as long as Belichick is still the coach. Great coaches/teams find ways to overcome injuries and that's something Belichick has always been able to do. It really doesn't matter who the QB in NE either. Look no further than Matt Cassel for further proof of that. I remember Pats fanatics trying to convince people that he was actually a good QB and could take over for Brady one day
Look at all of the contested receivers Peyton had to deal with last night, vs Tom Brady throwing to wide open players. Belichicks schemes were working, the Broncos weren't. So much for those injuries. Dungy was not an amazing coach. How often were the Colts ranked 20th or below? MANY
YES, the Patriots were exposed for cheating and a large part of the football community will always feel those Superbowls weren't legit.
Andy Dicks a Colts fan? who knew?
-
That was before Peyton fell on his face again.
-
BB has big balls and isn't afraid to make tough calls. Good or bad he doesn't look back. Hands down the best coach ever.
-
She was not wrong.
No she wasn't. It's only a game and a fun one at that. Last night was classic.
-
Yeah you are funny
I'm not trying to be. That's exactly what she said when Welker blew the SB. Then they all took a long vacation together.
-
He cant throw and catch the ball by himself. I mean the wideouts were dropping some big plays at crunch times.
You sound like Giselle.
-
Yeah they are 2 different people. If you think this loss is on Manning, more power to you.
A large part of it for sure.
-
Peyton's 2 biggest games of the season are the 2 with division rival KC....
He's 1-0
Sure they are. The Bronco just got busted.
-
I really think this loss will make Denver more stronger and resilient. I am sure they are * and they should be. It was playoff atmosphere last night except they still have a chance.
Time will tell.
Two things we know for sure. Peyton's no Brady and the Bronco's aren't the 2007 Patriots.
-
I know you will have a field day here today.
Welker just made the Belichick and Pats look like super heros yesterday.
Patriots fans know all about Welker dropping balls.
-
It's a darn good thing Peyton was drafted by a dome team or there's a good change he wouldn't crack the Top 10 All-Time QB list.
Is he a Choker? YES HE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT! He two biggest games of the season are loses. The Homecoming and the Patriots. Same old Peyton. Heck his career defining game was the 2006 comeback (not the SB) and that wouldn't have happened had the game been played outside.
4-10 facing Brady's team? COME ON! Brady's lost as many SB's as Peyton's been played in. The argument is over. Brady's better and it's not even disputable.

Eli and the Giants would like to have a word with that name "Tom Terrific".
NE fans don't particularly care for the name either but TB did his part against the G-men the D didn't. The Giants were lucky to boot.
But give the devil his due...never leave the game up to one play.
-
"Peyton Manning encapsulated Peyton Manning’s entire career Sunday night."
Truer words were never written.
-
I love BB's pressers. Last weeks was GREAT!
-
routinely not shaking hands when he loses (That's a lie.)......being short with media when he loses (He's short with them always.)....I think you are playing devil's advocate. Cheating on his wife (Please share with us the details of his marriage.) ......Everything about BB says jerk. (Do you know the guy?)
-
Rodney played D right?
-
He's playing and the Broncos are still losing.
-
Why not? Brady and Peyton are equals and no ones going to dispute Rodney's point that the Patriots have been a better team than the Colts over the last one and a half decades.

BB has a ton to do with NE's dominance over the last one and a half decades. He and Brady are the best coach/QB combo in NFL history. They compliment each other nicely.
