  1. ^Pats POV. Your honest is your honest.

    Their honest is their honest.

    It's all relative.

Honest is honest. The Tuck play was a fumble. Gronk's play could have been a couple different penalties. I really doesn't matter because what's done is done. It was a good game and the Panthers earned the win. Next team up for the Patriots is Denver.

Newton's a fun guy to watch. That was the first time I've watched him play a whole game.

  2. A Panthers fan will tell you the Gronk play wasn't 50/50 either. They will tell you it was an uncatchable and the 100% right call was made.

    It's all cyclical. :)

If I was a Panthers fans I would be honest and be thankful they got away with one. It goes both ways for all teams. It all evens out in the long run.

  3. You don't think its a coincidence that you think the 50/50 call that went your way was correct do you lol.

Same thing Panthers fans are saying about the last call this morning.

That's fine that Panther fans think that. I have no problem with the game. Dobson's wasn't 50/50 and either was  Gronk's but that's the way it goes. It was a great game and I enjoyed it. I can't wait for the Denver game.

  4. I don't know man, Smith had a lot of big catches. Up until that bomb early on it looked like the Patriots were going to hold their own against the Carolina offense. That long pass set the tone and jump-started the Panthers.

Plus he also had at least two critical penalties called on him. He did make two deflections I think, but still... not a great game for him. Maybe not outright own-age but he clearly lost the one-on-one battle there.

He didn't use his head and got sucked to Smith's game for sure. Smith and Talib have the same type of mind set and I like it. Take away the dumb penalties and it would have been pretty even. Hopefully he can take something away from this game and use it on a bigger stage down the line. I would love to be a fly on the wall and listen to BB coach him up on Tuesday. I think BB is loving the challenges set before this season.

  5. Interesting.

Like GoPats I was very pleased with what I saw from the Patriots last night. Their season is going pretty much exactly as many projected early on with all the issues they needed face. They are coming together at the right time with just enough taste of bitter defeat to keep them well grounded. I really like this teams SB chances.

  6. Talib was bested by Smith but saying he was owned is a stretch. It was a good match in a game of many. For those who say Talib has some difficulty with the small quick guys...well duh! Welcome to the party. That's always been the book on him but he goes 100% every play win or lose and that's all you can ask.

  7. Much like Rodney Harrison's cheap shots after the whistle over the years. Oh wait, he was a Pats player too!!! :)

If you are a good player, anything goes in the eyes of fans. Kudos to Colts fans who said Walden needs to be punished after his head butt. Pats colored glasses indeed. :)

I loved Rodney and he's dam good in front of the camera as well.

  8. It was indisputably a bad call but as I said the last game they were screwed by the refs (Baltimore)"It's not the first time and won't be the last".

The was a good football game that I enjoyed thoroughly. It was a statement game for both teams and I think both teams succeeded in making that statement. Both are coming together at the right time and both are strong SB contenders.

  9. What else? Boxing?

I grew up in a boxing city (Brockton) and back in the day we had a few very reputable Boxing Gyms and lots of kids in JHS and HS and beyond boxed. No one ever got hurt as far as I can remember. I played D1 football and was also offered scholarships in baseball and basketball. The only sport I'd suffered a serious injury in was basketball twice.

  10. Yes. I played and am 51 and still maintain quite a few of the relationships build through football from PeeWee, HS and college.

My oldest son wasn't into athletics but is a great young man and doing well for himself. The rest are girls so it's dancing and drama which is a lot of fun and also provides great experiences for the kids especially drama.
