  1. They hung their hat with Olsen all summer so we are stuck with him now. Go Seth.

He does not have the size & speed to make many of the blocks in the running game, and of course our opponents D Co-Ordinator knows this. Ouch!

Again, NFL Rosters are NOT big enough for all the injuries there are. Equal for all I Guess.

Satelle not comfortable? Where do the comedians come from? The guy had over 60 starts before he got here. Good grief!

  2. Starting from game 1 means nothing really.

Roethlisberger was 14-1 as a starter his Rookie year.

Being drafted #1 has real meaning of course as you are going to a definitely Bad Team.

Roeth, drafted at #11 to a team coming off a down season with HOF`er Jerome Bettis & a typical Stout D to carry the load, of course didn`t have to carry the load.

We Colts Fans are watching one of the Wildest Rides a bunch of thrown together vets & Rookies has ever brought to the NFL Rodeo. Fun & Amazing!! Yeehaa!

  3. Yes it was on the road, but we (LUCK) stunk it up pretty bad against a not very good team Sunday. Till the last few minutes.

Reminds me of the Pacers last season. Great overall record, way under .500 against winning Teams in their Conference.

30 Incompletions and 3 Int`s and a road Victory. About as crazy a way to win as you can get. Go Colts!

  4. Brown runs thru an open hole assigned to him pretty well. I can`t remember a back having worse vision. A speed back with NO Cutback in his game. Pitiful!

I want a better D ASAP too, but I think focusing on the Offensive Line First next off-season must be the Priority.

And finding a RB. I do LIKE Ballard. Someone similar with just a little more quickness.

Protect the QB and get a running game.

Then season 3 load up on D. Then you are looking at a Beast, the MONSTER!

  5. Can only guess if RGIII was asked to pass as much as Luck has been,

if he would make as many Bad decisions and throw as many inaccurate passes as Andrew has.

But I would GUESS that RG would have done better thanks mostly to his Big Time arm.

  6. Way more about Leading with Optimism, and looking at the weak schedule.

The AFC is weighted with Average to below avg. teams.

And like me, I think he saw Great Potential for this draft class. And they are coming (making big plays) thru each week NOW!

But, 30 Incompletions & 3 Int`s. That is some pitiful football. NEVER would have Imagined Andrew capable of doing that indoors in this era. Unfathomable!

  7. Yes, I think so too News. That ball was out in front of Meg anyway, Deion might have made a play on it.

We did hammer them in the running game, always fun to watch a swarming D get after it. Vontae made a difference there. Nice Job All! Grrrrrr!

I am really Happy for our Colts, from the Big Kahuna Mr. Irsay, and a man who I hope becomes Renowned & Fabled GM Grigson,(haha) to Coach P, BA, rest of the Coaches, our well lead Players, and the towell boys.

I thought we would see a lot of nice plays this season because of Andrew, hhhahahahaha, ya there has been a few. lmao!

BA`s downfield Big Bomb O is growing on me.

Add a real good line (two players) and a solid running game (1 more back), a few more underneath passes mixed in........... and there you have it... the O-Monster.

  8. in between all those Great plays. ;- )

Andrew Finally unleashed his Wild Thing Major League arm and threw the ball Over the Fence for an Int.

Now we know why he takes some off of his throws. loluck

Ya, on the winning drive Shipley at LG, Link at RT. Never has a QB done so much, with the help of .. ...! haha!

Yes they were Mostly Rookies, by the end of pre-season I said we were Loaded in our Receiving core, Wowee I sure feel good about this group today.

They didn`t throw a lot towards Vontae, he held his own when they did. He tackled very well and busted up quite a few plays. GJob.

Sure would like to have 3 Cory Reddings. He shucks blockers and makes tackles. He did give up his position when the RB ran for-ever through his hole. DBrown should learn about cuts like that. Donald has to go.

I have been giving Antonio J a hard time for doing mostly Nothing at NT. Maybe it was the matchup, whatever, he seemed to have a touch of maddog in him yesterday and played pretty darned good. Way to go!!

QB`s HATE pressure up the middle, makes`em p a little sometimes.

We are not beating very good teams, but we are not losing to them either. Good Character and a Winning Attitude, Go Colts!!

  9. As long as BA & Luck are commited to this high risk downfield passing game it will be J & H.

Andrew leads the League in 20+ yard throws while his fast receivers are running open underneath and he is making his line look bad by holding the ball so long.

Roethlisberger all over again BA. I thought Andrew looked a little shell shocked to start last game.

Kind of like knowing the game plan and the pressure/beating his OC had in store for him.

  10. Read, heard several times that Roethlisberger begged him for the last few years to come back. Sounded like he was ready to hang it up.

Who knows if he would rather be a head coach than an OC, or if this move to the Colts makes him happy.

I am a bit concerned with all these deep passes he calls.

Then again he has two SB Rings lately, and Belichick hasn`t won one since he was caught and since they quit letting the CB`s HOLD all the time.

  11. Be Great to get a NT who can shuck a blocker AND get push, supply pressure. You don`t have to get sacks to scare the .... out of a QB just get in his FACE.

    And stick that arm up!

    AJohnson is Terrible at that.

Chapman was known for being stout but not for getting push. Would have been nice to see him healthy this season so we could see, Ijalna too.

Freeney is Nothing more than a body out there, so it`s good to let younger guys get lots of action.

And yes we do desperately need a very athletic 6'4" or taller, 250lb + pass rushing OLB next year.

    And a...

    CB

    S

and Guards who are good at Pulling, pass & run blocking :help:

That is 6 players/positions. Might be hard to do in one off season, but doable in two. IMO.

    BUILDING the Monster.

  12. Polian & Irsay both knew Long Before the 2011 season started they were coming to the end with their weak, CAP Strapped roster.

Even with $tat$ Manning healthy the Colts were headed for his last $20Million Salary years being 2nd to Houston and at best a one and done Wild card team.

A healthy, Legendary Manning would still be here till they had to cut the Hightops off him.

Circumstance took over, and our owner was solid as a Rock.
