RB Fitzgerald Toussaint visited Colts Sunday

Hopefully Leveon Bell dropped him a 20 as a messenger to go tell Colts management hes coming to Indy

Stink big or go home! Not much difference in odor from a 3-13 record to a 6-10..follow the Jacksonville mould and pick early top 5 for about 5 years and rise to the top.
-
Simple solution. Sit Luck down before each game and tell him "no more care packages from Mother of squirrel oil or baked turtle necks" til his side arm proves true and steady with no ricochets occurring. Strike fear into the enemy from the onset
-
2 things that bother me. The "old Luck" sometimes forced throws and sometimes had them "sail" high on him. Its early, he's rusty so trying not to read too much into. That ability to run for his life and throw with lazer sharp accuracy is still there though, might still need that

I believe keeping the talent on the field, like most teams... barring major injuries... will determine this teams fate. Those cant be predicted but will play a major role

Luck will thrive in an up tempo offense, and if this O line is just "average" it will be better than anything Luck has had protecting him. Alot of "new" things going on, will be interesting for sure. 10-6 or 11-5 would be great

He grew 6 inches and put on 40lbs. And that was just this weekend.
It must be dearest mothers "herbed skunk calves" and "pickled sparrow breasts" doing the trick!

I had the full #7 Bert Jones uniform when I was growing up. My boyhood hero!

All these reports Luck hasn't thrown a football. I find it hard to believe at some point during all this time he hasn't picked a football up and thrown one. Its human nature. He's a QB. He's prolly got footballs lying all over the place collecting dust, stumbling over them. Didn't at least pick one up and throw it wondering how the ole sidearm is coming along?

There are no easy or gimme games in the AFC South, not that I ever thought there were. 2016 is going to be an exciting year to watch division games and IMO "on paper" any of these teams could be division champs in the end. Buckle up

DeAndre Hopkins
JJ Watt
Hopkins is on verge of being game changer and Watt already is. Also would make Texans less formidable opponent we face twice a year.

Funny how most on here, me included, thought Arians went long ball too often and wasn't playing to the strengths of Andrew Luck. Nobody ever questioned his leadership, just his playcalling. Now he`s again a candidate for HC of the Year..
-
McAfee I thought would make it but nobody else deserves it..this offseason should be interesting with a lot of hurt feelings when contract talks start happening
-
Whyd they "him haw" around so long before bringing him up in the first place? You can see the talent is there..
-
I`d probably feel better to know its on purpose lol than to thinks some of these things are just out of stupidity.

I've been thinking 12-13 wins all off season. Suddenly now the preseason games are over and the dust has settled i`m not so sure. The depth at RB and WR isn't so deep anymore, a lot of drop off from the starters, untested rookies on both sides of the ball..will they hit the "rookie wall" by 3/4 season? Can Andre Johnson stay healthy all year? Will Mathis be the same QB assassin? A lot of unanswered questions. I think expectations are high and this team underachieves for some reason..I say a very disappointing 9-7..just my gut feeling
9-7 now wouldn't seem so disappointing..this sucks!

Imagine back in September with all the Super Bowl expectations if somebody said Charlie Whitehurst would be starting for the Indianapolis Colts with the season and AFC South crown on the line..wow..how can this be??

Play To Win Or?

In 2011 the Colts had the worst record in the NFL. That landed them Andrew Luck with the 1st pick in the draft and an instant competitive team...for awhile...then regressed. Did winning so soon (also picking later in draft) without really rebuilding the team (early 1st round picks) hurt more in the long run or was it more Grigson missing on his draft picks? Those 1st 3 years (with a healthy Luck) netted playoff appearances. The Jaguars have been bad for a pretty long time, now they are maybe a QB/WR away from being a very good team. But they also should be with the amount of early 1st round picks. The Patriots are the exception as were the 2000-2010 Colts with sustained winning records. Bill B has done a nice job over the years moving up/down the draft board moving picks around. So you "CAN" win and do so for an extended time in the NFL... No fan wants to see our team "suck". Or tank/lose on purpose. The saying goes "you play to win the game", but the difference in a 3-13 record vs 7-9 really isn't that much as far as a bad season but could be come draft time and finding those core players to build a team on. I've struggled with this idea wondering if this is what the Colts are doing with the lack of FA signings and how far away are we from having that core. One more year picking top 10 draft vs picking 15-20th? Thoughts?
