  1. Trying to enjoy the ride this season. They are exciting to watch again. I still think going 8-8 9-7 and still missing the playoffs in my humble opinion will suck just as bad if not worse than 4-12 5-11. This team needs 1 more good year of top 10 picks to be the dynasty we all want BUILDING THRU THE DRAFT. Ballard proved he isn't afraid to move around the draft board so we shall see

  2. When I saw Ishmael signed as UDFA I looked up his high light reel and thought wow this guy might be pretty good. Haven"t seen/heard 1 thing about him since training camp started or throughout preseason. Wasn't sure if he was still on practice squad. Whats the take on this guy?

  3. Ive always been an advocate of our traditional uniforms. But these soft defenses and injury riddled teams, year after year, making average Joes look like all pros and giving up "career days" makes me want to scrap it all. Something has to change..

  4. Count our blessings. Could go 7-9 (doubtful) be a suck year and pick mid/late teens and just be more of same next year. Ballard will build this team through the draft and they will be early picks, just have to endure for now

  5. The revolving door of injured players every week on and off the roster makes it hard to pinpoint what kind of team Ballard has really put together. Until there's continuity, there's no reason to be impatient..these things you can't control, it is what it is.

  6. Funny, I posted same thing a couple weeks ago. Got laughed off this forum. 7-9, 8-8, 9-7..they all suck!! Lose on purpose? Not by making bad coaching calls or telling players some "plan to lose games"..2-3 veteran players, (RB, WR in particular) is the difference in this team going 4-12 vs 8-8 at this stage of the season. Ballard isn't building this team from late teens to early 20's draft choices just to have mediocre talent as a core.

  7. Almost starting from scratch, this team (especially on defense) is way better than most anticipated. Hate losing but this young team will grow from it, all arrows pointing up in right direction. One more great draft/influx of talent and Colts will be legit contenders. Whats not to like?

So let me see if I got this straight....

The Colts had first down on around the Eagles 10 with about a minute and a half to go.    We had FOUR cracks at the go-ahead touchdown.

We did not score and blew that golden oppportunity.

But you’re MORE UPSET that we had the ball around our own 25 with just under a minute to go and didn’t score from 75 yards out with no time outs.

    Seriously?     I mean.....   seriously?!?

Dear God,  this makes no sense....

    Wowza.....

Where did he say he was "MORE upset" over? 2 different drives and situations, stayed on topic with his title, never mentioned the drive before. Just curious why so nasty about it?

  9. 2 early round draft classes have produced results. As I've stated before, and ridiculed for, this team still needs a top 10 pick and influx of early picks each round of talent next April before they will be serious contenders. I hate losing but 8-8 records breed 8-8 talent and records. And in today's NFL that's what we'll have. This core group being built, from inside out, are fighters and have grit. Just not enough play makers yet to be elite. Its coming tho..

  10. Philly fans start taunting the Colts D after Philly jumps to early lead. Darius Leonard goes into full MANIAC mode, a one man wrecking machine. The Eagles offense, too scared to take the field, forfeits the game and a legend is born

  11. Colts need to find something clicking on offense and stick to it. Ebron looked like a beast then all but disappeared. TY gets his catches but the other WR,s need to step up and have big games. Will be a great test in a hostile environment, lets see how we stack up!

Call me a homer, but I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Even if this defense is the middle of the road (they don't have to be special) the Colts have a great shot to make the playoffs and actually advance instead of being one and done.

Seems has been that way forever, dont need a top ranked defense.. just dont give away "career days" to opposing offenses and we good!

  13. I don't know, this forum has me totally confused on what to think. One week the Colts have a lot of depth and players battling it out for starting jobs. Then we have no depth and the talent level isn't there as a whole. After this game a lot seem more excited and that the Colts will be fun to watch. Guess with a young team its to be expected and will be a roller coaster of a season. Call me a tanker if ya will, with 100mil+ salary cap surplus (and a lack of free agent moves this year) Ballard has his eye on drafting early again and building the core with elite talent next year. my guess 4-12 or 5-11 this year
