I've accused some members like @NewColtsFan, @throwing BBZ, @BOTT, @crazycolt1, and @DougDew of being condescending in their posts (and I'm sure I'm guilty of it too), but I assume everyone is very nice and respectful when they're face-to-face with others.

 

There's just more of a personal connection when you're face-to-face with someone and can see their facial expressions and tone and emotional intention.  As opposed to just reading what they typed in whatever tone you're using in your head without really knowing how they meant it to come off while they were typing it.

 

Bottom line is we're all Colts fans on the same team, and we're all rooting for a win today!!!  Go Colts! 

I have thought before about what it would be like to meet some of the members of this forum. Wasn’t there a get together years ago before the season?

Another thing that has impressed me with Mack this year is getting small into the hole while its closing. Something Gore has always been good at since his Niners days.

The Chiefs will obviously be the biggest test this defense has faced all season. Mahomes  and crew love to make the big play in the passing game so we really need Hooker to have a good game.  The pass rush also needs to keep pressure all game long.  Balance on offense with a good game from Mack will go a long way to slow their pass rush and setup the big play downfield to TY and Ebron. Could be a shootout so ball security could be the deciding factor. We cannot take our foot off the gas at all if we get a lead going against that offense.  Should be a lot better game than the Chiefs fans believe it will be.

If the Defense can get a turnover or 2 and a few stops the Colts will be in good shape.  Their defense cant stop anything.  Also cannot let them get a few score lead since they have a good pass rush.

I was always very superstitious when I played sports but never watching until the comeback game against KC a few years ago. I was ridiculously tired during the game while we were getting smacked. Made a pot of coffee and as soon as I poured that first cup we scored. Needless to say I was feeling like cornholio after a few pots of coffee and a comeback. The French press is sitting out waiting lol.

I complain about Maulet constantly. He’s always getting burned and makes a lot of mistakes. I would expect Collins to take his spot soon.  Odum played well yesterday and we will probably see more of him in the future. Especially with the oft injured Geathers as well as Mike Mitchell being FA soon. Ballard is always looking for young talented guys.

I remember hearing they were high on Lewis.  Hopefully he is healthy enough to come in and contribute.  Has pass rush potential from the 3 tech and can slide out to DE but we haven’t seen him against NFL competition yet.

Great article and I agree. They are hopefully getting everyone back this Sunday, minus the IR guys. The future is looking bright with the new coaching staff and Ballard’s maneuvers. We should see a lot more progress in the coming weeks as the young guys continue to get experience.

I fully expected that press conference to hear the blame game, a bunch of whining etc. No, Ballard came out, took the heat, said it was his fault and that was that, moving on. The way he handled that conference and subsequent media attention was great.  I've learned one thing in my almost 20 years in the military, a leader's true colors will be shown in times of test/crisis. He aced it.  

 

Now his football knowledge and skills, I don't know if we've seen it all just yet, so the jury is still out on that one.

Either way should be very interesting.

Its usually a camera that is set back with no audio. You don't get any insight really except for there reaction after making a pick or trade.
