  1. Bengals Steelers Ravens Browns
  2. If, Reich succeeds in Carolina, it will definitely have an even more negative outlook of Ballard as GM. Everyone has their own opinions, but Ballard has had 6 seasons to build a roster that is simply bad. We can all nitpick, cherry pick, and sugar coat things but it doesn't change the fact the Colts are just plain bad at the moment. Hopefully, that changes soon, not in another 6 years.
  3. I look at C. Wentz at Philly and the year the Eagles win the SB. C. Wentz plays great all year and goes down will season ending injury and the backup N. Foles comes in and the Eagles don't miss a beat and win the SB. What's that say to me? Great roster and supporting cast. That you don't need elite franchise signal callers to do better than the Colts the last 4 years, when being touted as having a strong roster supposedly.........
  4. Fans need to ignore and let go of the bolded. It doesn't take a franchise QB to have more success than the Colts have had the past 4 seasons or lack of if your not in denial... Especially when you have all these Pro Bowlers and the GM is being touted a genius talent evaluator. Let's hope AR is the eal deal!
  5. I thought Ryan Kelly was a pretty good pick. Productive players with Colts and or on other rosters. Jack Mewhort*, D. Good, V. Ballard*, H. Anderson, J. Haeg, A. Blyth, H. Ridgeway, L, Clark, C. Fleener and D. Allen. * Career ending injury Let's not pretend the cupboard was bare with Grigson and he missed on but only 2 draft picks. And let us remember, Ballard's only playoff win has come with at least half of Grigson's roster.
  6. I don't want to go back in forth because you seem genuinely friendly and I thank you. However, Grigson did more than just draft a generational QB, believe it or not. Folks who think he was merely successful due to A. Luck, are in denial. Did Grigson, deserve to get fired? Absolutely. Grigson's Achilles heal as a GM, not media friendly, which was his undoing. Ballard is very good with the media.
  7. That could be said for any NFL GM who lost or doesn't have their generational, elite or very good QB. Fact remains, it doesn't diminish Ballard's lack of success the past six seasons. The motivation partly behind this thread!
  8. New member and long time lurker. I am not a Grigson supporter. I merely thought this entire thread was somewhat bizarre and carefully constructed to ignore the past six seasons under Ballard, which has been quite uninspiring. I noticed over the years when posters say anything negative or speak truth towards Ballard, folks get offended. Kinda sad! It's a message board that should be diverse of opinions, but clearly doesn't appear to be. I don't get the praise for a GM with a losing record after six years, who supposedly drafts lights out and the hatred for Grigson. The Grigson ruined Luck's career is comical along with Luck carried the Colts. A. Luck went 2-5 as the starter in 2015, while Hasselback and Freeman carried the Colts to a 6-3 record the rest of season. I stated in another thread good teams without an elite or very good QB can win a division title, win playoff games and sometimes go to a SB. You'd think with all the praise Ballard's achieved about being such an elite GM and talent evaluator after 6 seasons he would've at least won the division and a playoff game without Andrew. Hopefully, my post doesn't trigger or offend anyone. Simply one mans opinion on such a bizarre thread.
  9. I look at records, not who drafts okay and is nice to the media. Their records as GMs don't compare no matter how anyone wants to sugar coat it. Love the Colts, but Ballard's resume is very uninspiring and the Colts have been stale under his leadership. Just my opinion.
  10. Agreed! Many here will say Ballard was a better GM than Polian and Grigson, but the records state otherwise no matter how it's sugar coated.
  11. Z. Elliot and D. Cook are both 27 and as we all are aware they were released. Taylor already had a lot of carries at Wisconsin. I believe more than Elliot or Cook. History probably doesn't bold well for Taylor. Hope not! Absolutely! He's earned a 2nd contract. Will it be worth it? We shall see. I don't think he's a young 24, with all those of miles.
  12. B. Purdy if he's healthy. AdamShefter reported on the P. McAfee Show last week there was no trade market for T. Lance.
  13. Terrible. Looks like something out of the XFL.
  14. With or without Luck and Rivers! It makes no difference. Teams with solid rosters can win with a "good" but not "elite" QB! Better??
  15. The odds are against Taylor finishing a 4 year contract, so if the FO can do as you say, some mathematical maneuvering that would be great. Taylor's has earned a new contract.
  16. Me too, seeing he's a former 1st RD pick.
  17. Hard to beat that group as a unit. Close as I can come with maybe, is Herrod, Coryatt, Grant for a season or two. Love watching the clip of Curtis nailing the fan who ran on the field.
