He also brought Harbaugh to the Colts. He might've drafted him, since he was the Bears GM before he was ours.
Sad news

Hmmmm, back in 1996 the Jets drafted a mega hyped receiver 1st overall Keyshawn Johnson. Pretty good career 13 years over 10,000 yds. 64 TD. Guess who the Colts drafted at 19 that year? A hint, his son is the guy everybody wants this year.
I think Marv Jr. will be at the least very good. Just pointing out, that sometimes the best in a class, aren't always the most hyped.

Being at Augusta National would be great, meeting Peyton there is great. Did the Swedish Bikini team show up next?
(Old Milwaukee beer commercial reference)
Sounds like you had a great visit.

Andrew could look down field and feel the pass rush around him. Knew when he needed to step up, or roll out.
He had great pocket presence. If he would've slid like a Qb, instead of taking on defenders and trying to run over them, who knows how long he could've played.

There seems to be a couple of players I would like Ballard to take a hard look at. Bayron Matos and George Smith are the ones I have in mind. Anyone have any thoughts on the international players?
Not yet, but thanks for listing those names. I will do some research and get back to you.

He was definitely a great Colt. I remember he had that great stretch where his side of the field was a no fly zone.
I also feel bad for his buddy that played corner on the other side of the field at the same time for us. He was definitely a forum whipping boy I remember.
Don't remember his name but he had the really long dreads and was a childhood friend of VD from the DC area.
Also wish comfort for Vontae's family and friends.
Maybe Toler Is who you are thinking of?

I am 34 years old and became a fan of Colts football in the early 2000s. I am active-duty Air Force and have been for 16 years. I am currently stationed at Mountain Home AFB, ID and originally from Depauw, IN.
Thank you for your service.
Hope you can watch games via streaming. I am guessing the Colts aren't featured that often where you are stationed.

I am glad we got AR, so I am happy. I would've helped the people out as well, but I would've pulled over to the side and stayed in my car and called Triple A for them. I take the interstate to work every night and some people blow by me going at least 100 MPH. I know because I have to go 75 just to keep up with the flow of traffic and have had cars whiz by me like I am standing still. I got hit by drunk driver 3 years ago on interstate (I-465), it totaled my car. The person rear ended me and sent my car flying 2 lanes. Luckily there wasn't much traffic out. It was 10 at night. I never seen it coming. People that do the speed limit get on my nerves as well because that is too slow which can also cause an accident. 70 MPH is a good speed to travel, not 55 or 95
KInda like the George Carlin bit
Ever notice how any body driving slower than you is a *, and anybody driving faster is a maniac?

There was a certain team that was 0-10 2 years later and another that was 9-1. Guess who won?
I think that would be the 0-10 Colts over the Pack. Paul Justin had a great game that day. I remember him taking two knees so time would expire as the winning Fg was kicked.

You guys actually remember where you were in 1995 for the Colts Steelers AFC title game? The Packers got beat earlier that day 38-27 by the Cowboys. Us Packer fans were heartbroken cause we played Dallas tough.
Two cousins and I were coyote hunting in reclaimed strip mine hills. I made us quit early so I could catch the game.
They fell asleep sometime in the second half, but I woke them up yelling at the TV.
Heartbreaking game, but gave me hope for the future.

I looked it up and Mike Tomzack was the Steelers qb ?
He was never really that good but Steelers had a HOF coach in Bill Cowher
Neil Odonnel, and the occasional Kordell Stewart snap.

I like Hull, think he is our new Hines.
Very small sample, but he did look explosive when he got a chance.

Evan Hull was possibly supposed to be the Hines replacement. I wonder if he is back to 100%?

Interesting,
Thanks for posting

1987 Dickerson was the reason
1995 Would've beat Dallas in Superbowl
2006 Superbowl was two weeks early
2009 Gotta play 60 minutes
2012 This kid is good
2014 Getting better
2020 Good Quarterback equals good team

I will drink a few beers tailgating before a game, and maybe one during. I am too old to drink like I did in college, and my single days.
The worst drunk I've seen at a game was a Lions fan that puked in a peanut bag, and my buddy handed him a empty cup to finish.
His friends carried him, and the 2 puke containers out, and didn't return for the remainder of the game.

Special teams are important as well.
The punt that hit the SF blocker down field resulting in a quick Td for KC, and the blocked extra point were huge.
Returner needs coached to be aware and yell at anybody to clear out if they are in the area.

SF is finally giving their D a chance to catch a much needed rest. I really don't have a dog in the fight, but would like to see them win this.

I hope this is as good a game as I think it could be. Both teams are stacked.
Same, hoping for a lot of offense.

None of that screams “party animal” to me…unless your not talking about the soda pop coke…
The first party I hosted was Bears Pats as a single guy. The amount of alcohol consumed at that one, and the next several after was epic. As we aged, and all married ,it slowed down quite a bit.
I was hoping posting my boring plans and fare would give someone a laugh.

I used to host a superbowl party every year, and 10 or 12 guys would show up. Always made chili, and homemade deer jerky.
Last one was 2007. I've only attended a couple in the last few years, and this year I am at home as well.
Beef vegetable soup for meal, popcorn and a coke later. Total party animal this year.

Congrats to Dwight,
Well deserved. Opposing teams always had to game plan for him. I remember refs ignoring a lot of hands to the face blocking technique used on him several times.

I will add if I may?
I was pleasantly surprised at how many games the Colts won this year.
Also the heart the team showed in many games was refreshing, last year I thought they quit in a couple.
I was impressed that back ups gave us all they had, and stepped up and gave us all they had.
The little bit I got to see of our Rookie QB, looked better than what was projected by all of the experts, so I am
encouraged by that.
We start next year with a pretty good O line, a great running back, decent Wrs, and decent defense before the draft.
Good to be a Colts fan.
