None of that screams “party animal” to me…unless your not talking about the soda pop coke…
The first party I hosted was Bears Pats as a single guy. The amount of alcohol consumed at that one, and the next several after was epic. As we aged, and all married ,it slowed down quite a bit.
I was hoping posting my boring plans and fare would give someone a laugh.

I used to host a superbowl party every year, and 10 or 12 guys would show up. Always made chili, and homemade deer jerky.
Last one was 2007. I've only attended a couple in the last few years, and this year I am at home as well.
Beef vegetable soup for meal, popcorn and a coke later. Total party animal this year.

Congrats to Dwight,
Well deserved. Opposing teams always had to game plan for him. I remember refs ignoring a lot of hands to the face blocking technique used on him several times.

I will add if I may?
I was pleasantly surprised at how many games the Colts won this year.
Also the heart the team showed in many games was refreshing, last year I thought they quit in a couple.
I was impressed that back ups gave us all they had, and stepped up and gave us all they had.
The little bit I got to see of our Rookie QB, looked better than what was projected by all of the experts, so I am
encouraged by that.
We start next year with a pretty good O line, a great running back, decent Wrs, and decent defense before the draft.
Good to be a Colts fan.

Even start. 3-3. Going to get interesting quickly I think.
Hope it stays tight all game.

Bills read that screen well

Really don't have a dog in the fight this year, but I think it would be cool if the Bills and Lions squared off in the Superbowl.
So I guess I'm a Bills fan tonight. Tough for me because I still feel the ole AFC East foe bias against them as a division foe then.

Whether or not it is recognized by the medical establishment matters not.
you be bat crap crazy shooting up battery acid and brake fluid. Period.
from the Webster dictionary: not mentally sound : marked by thought or action that lacks reason :
id say there’s a serious lack of reasoning to shoot up brake fluid and battery acid.
I drink brake fluid, but I can stop whenever I want.
Sorry couldn't resist.

San Diego 1997.
Harbaugh was out with a sprained ankle? Jim Kelly who was working for a network, called him a baby and said he over dramatized his injuries. Kelly was the color for the Colts Vs Chargers game. Harbaugh crashed the pre game press conference, invited Kelly into another room and emerged with a broken hand. No details of the incident were released at the time, but Harbaugh missed three more games while his hand healed and was not paid due to it being the result of a non football injury.
May have been a factor in us getting the first pick in the 98 draft.

One of the players commented after Chukie's return was "he ran it in 4 something, like 4 ever"
I think it was Vinny Testaverde of the Jets who fumbled, or at least he tried to knock the ball out of the Chuksters hands before he raced down the field. Nwokorie is the correct spelling. He spent a summer in this area when he was attending Purdue.

The Eagles have not played well since Patricia started calling plays on defense.
He had a good run in New England.
Seems like Bill"s guys don't do as well when they leave there.

I swear they stop teaching it after Pop Warner.
Whatever happened to shoulder to the hips while wrapping up the legs? It was the surest way for a small DB like me to make tackles on heavier ball carriers?

Like I said tackling is a lost art.
The Colts seemed to forget how every now and then this year.

First team to lose at home to a 7 seed?

The final score was not a good representation of how bad the Pack dominated the boys. They pants them in the hallway and drug them in the mens room and gave them a swirly.

Im walking past a beer garden and see that the Cowboys are losing. 14-0. Love it
I better hurry home. It is freezing out.
You are a tough woman. It's 2 degrees here in Southern Indiana. Imagine it's a bit colder where you are.

Mmmm, l believe tugging at Jerseys and grabbing were specifically introduced in that off season.
You could be right, I thought they just made it a point of emphasis to call contact before the receiver touches the ball, plus flagrant holding.

Well, at least they changed some rules.🥱
Ever notice, it seems to be after the Colts get violated in a game, they modify or create a new rule in the off season so it doesn't happen again without a penalty?
Now, THAT l'm getting sick of.
The rules were in place. Refs were allowing Dbs to get away with a lot of contact, but the Pats ratcheted it up to a point that even the ESPN commentators were showing the worst cases and saying they got away with murder in that game.
The result was the officials were instructed to call PI instead of letting them play, a year too late for Indy though.

What if the refs whistled half of the pass interference that the Pats committed in the 2003 AFC championship?
Maybe I should phrase it what if we had any other crew officiating than Walt "tuck rule" Coleman's?

Wow, another feel good topic... 😁
Ok, '95 AFCCG, Lamont Warren getting barely tripped up in the backfield on 3rd down with daylight in front of him, forcing the Colts to punt instead of running the clock down further.
We could do a whole topic of what ifs with that game. I chose to pick a more obscure play.
Baltimore- Oakland '77 playoffs. 3rd down in over time, Jones misses Chester on a deep route that would have put the Colts in FG range.
Ahhh, Good times... 😡
I watched a documentary on that 95 game a while back. I remember Dick Lebeau saying the guy that made the tackle was not supposed to blitz, but did. His mistake was their gain.
How about Garcon dropping a pass late in the second quarter of the 2009 Superbowl? Easily a first down, possibly 6. Hit him in the gut. Forced a punt, and the Saints scored before the half.
I was not a Baltimore fan so I have no what ifs for that Colts team.
