  1. Start giving Taylor some agency. He's not a mere witness to this whole ordeal. At some point he has to own what his agent is doing on his behalf. It's very likely he wants the same thing...
  2. Yes, he did. He was liking like... a dozen tweets suggesting the Colts should trade him to Miami. The interesting thing was... he was liking ONLY Miami tweets and none of the other fanbases' desires for their team to trade for Taylor.
  3. And ask the league to do an investigation. Seize their communication and lets see if they can find something weird. Because there has definitely been something weird from the moment his agent started this %storm and started liking tweets about the Colts trading him to Miami before the trade request even being public.
  4. Oh, that makes more sense. His contract is a rookie deal so whatever is in his contract is likely standard for rookie deals.
  5. How does that work? Do you mean injury settlement and getting him cut? Because that's very likely one of his better options - yes, he will lose 3M in pay but he will be able to go wherever he wants and get paid by that team. Hell, he very likely will get more than those 3M for this year alone. I don't think this is good outcome at all.
  6. - Dolphins - Chiefs - Eagles - Panthers(Frank would love to get his favorite RB so Bryce can hand him the ball on every 1st and 2nd down) - Broncos - Patriots?
  7. The league will have to do an investigation and prove it. It's not like they haven't been able to in the past. Hell, the Dolphins were one of the teams with high picks taken away for tampering.
  8. I sure hope the Colts will be inquiring the league conduct investigation once this thing is over. Hell, use the threat of it to get the 1st you want.
  9. For the record the hoodie is team gear and is part of the Colts' mental health awareness campaign "Kicking the stigma". A lot of players and coaches are wearing things with that slogan at or around Colts facility and practices... Example... here's Steichen and Eberflus with the same shirts last week: Here's Richardson and Fields with the same ones: Here's a video about it with more Colts players wearing the same slogan:
  10. I strongly disagree with this. Haven't seen anything to suggest he doesn't have the desire to play or compete.
  11. I think Leonard probably plays this year but gets cut after the season. Unfortunately I don't expect him to come back to his previous stellar form and the Colts won't be paying that type of salary for less than that. He also just had another concussion after he was talking about retiring after one of the previous 2 concussions. Lets see if he will be good to go to begin with I guess...
  12. This is the difference between someone who actually knows football, watches tape and has some analytical ability, and the numerous brainless talking heads who only see - "oh star RB missing - this will ruin AR". Cosell is the best in the business bar none... I may disagree with some of his takes, but I respect what he has to say on anything football and I know at the very least it's well thought out and well argumented...
  13. The Chargers were Ekeler's team. They can offer contract/extension any time they want.
  14. The difference is... the Chargers had actually offered him a contract before he requested a trade. The Colts to my knowledge still haven't made him an offer.
  15. Agreed. It almost requires things outside of football to be going really bad for them to give up on Richardson after just 1 season IMO. Like... bad attitude and work ethic... or football-wise complete and utter failure to grasp concepts and execute the offense, Zero progress made, etc. With that said... IMO it would be almost criminal to have the chance to draft Williams and not do it. If that happens, the onus would be on the other side of the equation, IMO... it would be on Richardson having to provide serious reasons as to why despite horrible record with him the Colts wouldn't draft the generational prospect. And this is coming from one of the biggest Richardson supporters here...
  16. Not really. My biggest point on the QBs since Luck retired has been that we should be drafting our next QB as soon as possible. I've wanted us to draft a QB(high) every single year since 2019. And I've said multiple times that I may have my own preferences but I'd give the benefit of the doubt to Ballard even if he took a QB that wasn't my favorite... the process is much more important than my personal preferences So yeah... about the QBs specifically, you are barking up the wrong tree here. Also, I would like to point out that even if I would have been super critical of them taking Hurts(or someone else that succeeds), this still says nothing about the merit of discussing/criticizing the GM's decisions. Or are we allowed to criticize the decisions only if we were right at the time? Who's gonna police that? And more importantly - do you think this would be good for a message board on the internet about a football team?
  17. This is a great thread by Zach that summarizes the situation much better than you would ever hear from any of the national media talking heads, who have decided that "Irsay bad" is the best they can do with this one or with anything negative happening around the Colts.
  18. True. What's the point? I'm not Colts' GM? I'm not being paid millions to make decisions for an NFL franchise?
  19. The Eagles trenches are what Ballard wishes he built with the Colts. Oh... and they have a proven franchise QB and all pro receivers too..
  20. Kelce has great reputation in the league so surprising that he did take a "cheap shot", not so surprising that he's owning it. Props to him...
  21. Seems like the DL had some sporadic success vs their OL....
