  1. thats kinda my style, pick the obscure options people don't usually think about herron by far one of my fav colts from that period, one of the last players we had where someone would yell "BOOM" when he had a play. Reminds me of KUHN being yelled in green bay (i was living in wisconsin at that time) Autry had a good year or so at DT most recent, in 2002 i was only 5, so that one kinda goes over my head talking about Scioli
  2. yep. do you remember the play that Marlon Mack had? At home vs. Jax, broke his hand mid-play, spun to the outside, and still scored. i was there for that game, but yeah boom Herron was excitement for us at the RB position, when we had some boring typical backs like Ahmad, who was really good at protection and stuff, but Herron is one of the first backs i remember , outside of Marlon Mack that i got excited to watch
  3. oh yeah, im not saying he beats out anybody, but he was decent and was a smaller back but man he had some energy to him, he really did have some shining moments next to Luck

  5. who remembers boom herron?
  6. Luck is the best quarterback i've seen play. Would take him over mahomes, tbh
  7. @Superman nice poll - looks like most fans agree here on this topic
  8. to win you score points, but to lose you also score points, whoever scores more points wins
  9. feels like we are gonna be in a lot of high-scoring games, and I don't know if that's gonna be good for Richardson or not. to me, it seems like a detriment. part of his success is gonna depend on the defense pausing for read action. How often is a defense gonna fall for read action when it's 3rd and 10 or longer? Just think a bad defense might be a speed bump to his development
  10. yeah, i want like 7 wins at least. is that hoping for too much considering all the other roster factors?
  11. I agree with everything, except we need to specify when he was going to leave. I don't think anyone expected Taylor to hold in, coming off his worst year and injury. What does make sense? Show the league you can still average 5ypc, and dominate despite a young roster --> then go to FA and demand top dollar. ~This was not the approach clearly.
  12. i hope so too, but i think he ends up a Conklin type of TE. Which isn't bad by any means, but also nothing special Dallas was a special player
  13. I think Granson will have value like Conklin from the Jets, basically the same player type. But Dallas Clark? NO, I don't think so 45
  14. I agree, Holder sounded like he was advocating for Taylor. Rather than asking an unbiased question, I also thought it was peculiar that he was almost negotiating a live interview with Ballard about Taylor. It was definitely odd. The way I heard it is, we aren't just gonna let Taylor leave because that isn't the best thing for the Colts, and the only way it will happen is if the compensation is fair. I don't think that is crazy or unfair to Taylor. He is a top 3 back in this league behind probably only Henry and CMC, so with that being said, we should have slightly less compensation than what the 9ers got, or what a 24 year old Henry would have gotten (or close to it) When we let Gilmore walk for a low-round pick people were about to protest downtown. Imagine if we let a generational running back, and the best back we've seen as a Colt in a very long time walk out for a 4th rounder and some average player. No thanks, he signed his contract, so he should play. And if not, we will see what tools we have available, not gonna sit here in a national interview and say something could turn into a lie. Holder and the media in general for Indy is not very good. But that's a discussion for another time WE WON FOUR GAMES LAST YEAR
  15. in short: we aren't gonna give Taylor up for pebbles. He's a valuable human and football player. sometimes relationships can be strained and then fixed. Ballard isn't gonna discuss contracts and, look....
  16. so, I remember the 49ers doing something very similar with Shananan, and they had good success at it. At the end of the day, our TES were better than our middle-bottom WRs, I think they agreed with this and decided to cut the bottom of the WRs off. I think we also still have the chance to sign 1 more WR most likely. TBH, while it's been marked as a more pass-happy offense, I don't really think so too much. Sure we will have more inventive play calling, but I'm going to assume we might still have a run-first offense. So, in short, the bottom TEs were better, and we still have a chance to scoop someone who's been cut or waived in one of the most dense position groups in the league. A lot of these young rookie WRs come in close to the skillset of washed up, or average vets/
  17. pinter was not terrible, really at any point. (at center) outside of Grove, and Buck, our defense is kinda gutted. Im not expecting anything from Leonard
  18. i remmeber his OG days with Denver, he was almost always outside iirc
  19. the 4 wrs makes sense, because we are probably gonna pickup 2 but waiving a young, promising CB at one of our thinnest positions def doesn't make sense.
