I am tired of retreads as well. Matt Ryan let me down but Fields is only 23 years old and now has experience in the NFL, I would not classify him as a retread. A retread to me is someone that is 30 years or older and has just a few years left. Carr would be a retread.
This place will implode if we don't draft Young or Stroud or don't get Fields in some type of trade. If we draft Levis I may implode though , I don't see him being any good at all.
I wasn't a Fields fan when he came out of college but I thought he did ok with what he had to work with. He is a dual QB as well. A lot like Hurts. Shane would do well with him IMO.
The thing I love about Fields is he now has a couple years under his belt. He is strong, fast, and young - accuracy is above average, it would be an ok move IMO, pair him up with Taylor, who knows??
Yep, Haliburton getting injured hurt us bigtime, we lost 7 in a row after he got injured. Good win last night over the Bulls to end that streak. Pacers are 24-25 through 49 games. Better than I thought they would be. I had the Pacers as a top 5 worse team to begin the season.
Man you are old (sarcasm, joking). For the record Unitas was better than Starr. I have seen film on both and I know their resumes. I have been a fan since 1984 since I was 13, the first time I really got excited was when Dickerson got traded here in 1987. I knew we had the best team in the AFC East then. Dickerson was a one man wrecking crew.
I wish we would have played them and we should have. They had like 5 turnovers and still barely lost. I had a bad vibe going into that SB vs the Saints. It seemed like the whole world was rooting for the Saints because of the Hurricane they had a couple years prior. Kate Couric and Obama were on CBS saying go Saints + I hated the fact that Peyton and Reggie are from the New Orleans as well. Something seemed fishy about that game from the get go and the way it ended looked phony but it is what it is.
