Hell yeah, I am a huge fan of Karl! I think him and Geathers would make a formidable duo in the secondary...either way, Joseph at 18 would be awesome...trade down a few spots, even better!

Yes, I'm sure the money alleviates some of the pain. But we all know how first round QBs are treated in this league. Especially QBs that you move up in the draft in dramatic blockbusters to get. Bradford is two interceptions away from getting booed to the bench for Wentz to step in.
You do realize that he is a grown butt man surrounded by a team (agent, etc.) of people looking out for his best interests, right? He was not forced to sign anything, and if the $22 million guaranteed can't "alleviate some of the pain", then he can go eat rocks!! He's fortunate to be in the situation he is in, and as long as he has been in the league I would assume he is well aware of the business aspect of these kinds of things...and as Jvan pointed out, if he plays well (which for top tier QB money he should), he won't be on the bench...however, if he chooses to play the same as he has throughout his career to this point (just shy of awful) he will be getting paid to listen to the Philly faithful boo him....either way, the guy will be getting $22 million.

With the 92nd pick in the NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Isaac Seumalo, C, Oregon State.
@danlhart87 The Carolina Panthers are on the clock.

You mean giving him a 2 year deal worth 35 million to be mediocre?
I'm out of likes, but yes, my thoughts exactly ($22 million guaranteed)...and I get to sit the bench and watch a rookie struggle...in front of some of the worst fans in the world...yeah, I would gladly ride out my second oversized contract
-
Can you do this for the other 25 teams we may trade with
Just kidding, thanks for laying this out though, kind of a nice reference...especially for us lazy bums (or at least myself) who do not want to do our own math on the trade value chart!

He did have the 4th best pass rushing grade according PFF and has a lightning quick first step and is very agile....He was also PFF's 2nd highest graded Edge Defender. His size concerns are exaggerated though he does have to get a bit stronger. Most often when he failed against the run (which was not a lot) it was because he got caught rushing off the edge instead of holding contain. Floyd is not a must however, I'd gladly take Calhoun or Fackrell

Floyd has plenty of room on his frame to get bigger and stronger I think
I have read this along with many other articles, and watched him on DB...and read your many pro-Floyd posts...still not sold

I don't want to see Floyd and Castonzo or Floyd and Reitz 1 on 1.......That's not likely to end in the Colts favor
You're much higher on Floyd than I

He said he has heard from "sources" that Floyd could go as high as number 5 to Jacksonville.
I hope that is how they use their 5th overall pick

Surprise, surprise, you lack a sense of humor as well

1. Colts trade down not once but twice in 1st round
2. Colts O-Line from C-RT Holmes, Thorton ,Goode. Instead of losing 3 QBs we lose 3 RBs
3. Colts extra preseason game, 5th game ,cost us a starter to IR
35 minutes ago, richard pallo said:1. We trade our 1st. pick for an established young staring center
2. We draft Derrick Henry in the 2nd.
3. We draft the kicker from Florida State. I can't remember his name but he is supposed to be phenomenal.
You two are a couple of debbie downers, good lord

He didn't stick with him. He got beat, and if the ball wasn't underthrown that's a TD.
I'm almost positive they called pass interference on Ragland as well

The question then becomes why you would use a 1st round pick on that type of player. Ragland gets the annual Alabama bump, but in reality is he any better than Denzell Perryman who was a 2nd round pick last year?
Boom!

Lets hope the Jags fork out a large portion of that cap space for him

Holmes isn't good at all. If we take an offensive linemen in the 4th on back, that's just probably not going to work out again. haha. I think we need to grab one in the 1st or 2nd. I know there's defensive players there to grab but without a line, Luck gets hurt and Gore can't run the football.
Great rationale

i like tha tpick...and with mathieu man that is some secondary
Yep, my thoughts as well! My preference is to pair him up with Geathers though

Dude, A for effort...thanks for a nice format as well

With the 29th pick in the NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Safety, Karl Joseph, West Virginia
Secondary is one of the areas we were looking to improve so we went with the best Safety, and one of the best players, in the draft.
@Footballlax31 and the Panthers are now on the clock!

Well what do you know, I see in the body of the article another workout of Reggie Ragland.
I think that is referencing when he came in on March 15th, about a week after we checked him out at the Bama pro day...and maybe that is what you meant, just wanted to point out that it wasn't anything recent.

Shaq Lawson has become my fondest hope at #18, but it seems he'll be gone unless there is an ongoing concern with his shoulder. Of course, if all he needs is additional time, we can weather the wait with Mathis, Cole, and Walden all returning at OLB...

Would be great, but every single team has their own Team Physician and Athletic Trainer on site to do their own evaluation for themselves.
It was an attempt at humor...with your response I can see I did a poor job of conveying that.
