it would probably get us more points

That's what I was thinking.  Reich is pretty good at the 4th-and-short calls.  It might be easier to convert a 2-pt try than a PAT at this point.

Plus, the kicking has been so bad this year across the entire league.  More teams might start doing this.

Reich needs to start the Revolution!  No more kicking!  Take the Foot out of Football!

  2. This should have been an easy win in which we were honoring one of the greatest to ever wear the Shoe.

Should have been a blowout like the good ol days when Manning and Freeney were the best 1-2 punch in the NFL.

Instead we put that dumpster fire on display for all the old Colt greats...

Oh but being called a whiny * because I called this last week?

Im not the one insulting people.  is this your idea of handling the truth?

You are definitely the one insulting people when you call them pansy and arrogant in the same post.

Why are you on here trying to start * with people when everyone is in agreement about Vinny being done?

    Quit being immature.

People can handle the truth.  But if you start insulting people, then you're just creating problems.

It's not so much what you're saying, it's how you say it.

I think pretty much everyone is on the same page when it comes to Vinny.  Except maybe Reich and Ballard.  We'll see.  :dunno:

I hope all of you pansy fans are happy. All you arogant posters that ridiculed me for saying I'm done with Vinny. This organisation doesn't want to win.

I have a feeling the ridicule was more for posts like this, where you call people pansy and arrogant...  just sayin...

  6. I have an idea.  Stop kicking PATs.  Just go for 2 after every TD.

I would say keep Adam on the team for kicking clutch game-winners, but after the loss last week in Pittsburgh, I don't think we can even rely on him for that anymore.

So yeah.  Let Vinny retire and free up his roster spot.  Go for it on every 4th down, and go for 2 after every TD.  What do we have to lose?  More games?  The way I see it, we're playing with house money at this point anyway.  C'mon Riverboat Reich!

The NFL could and would survive with 31 teams.

How?  It doesn't seem logistically feasible.  Scheduling alone would be problematic with one division only having 3 teams.  Those 3 teams would have 2 fewer divisional games.  Would they each play each other 3 times?

That's extra divisional games that affect the standings in both the division and the conference.  Would the wins and losses be weighted somehow?

It seems like there would be a lot of issues with a 31-team league.

Honesty, if the Chargers can’t find a home, put them on the shelf.

Sorry, I haven't had my coffee yet.  I don't understand what this means.

You don't mean, like, shut the team down, right?  Only have 31 teams.

Do you mean just leave them in LA?

I have come to the conclusion that you just hate talented players in general.

You may have just hit the nail on the head, my friend.

It all makes sense now.  Any player drafted in the first round... any player that becomes All-Pro...  any player that leads the league in a statistical category... any Colts player considered the best at their position... any player (or GM) getting a lot of love on this forum...

The more successful/beloved a member of the Colts becomes, the more Doug finds to criticize...

  10. Would I like JB to have better anticipation and "throw receivers open"?  Yes.

Is that necessary in the offense Reich/Sirianni are asking him to run?  I don't know.

What I do know is that Peyton Manning was the best at putting the ball where his receiver was supposed to be.  They could be sleep-running their routes with their eyes closed and the ball would still hit them in the hands as soon as they came out of their break.  But PM isn't walking into a Colts huddle anytime soon, so it's probably a moot point.

Just run the damn ball and play some damn mistake-free defense.  That's what wins championships.

Skip em both and get Cam when he is released by the Panthers!!!

Im kidding. I know thats frowned up here

    I had the same thought.

Cam has similar measurables to Luck.  He had success with Funchess, and the chemistry is already there.

I don't think he is the leader that Brissett is, but I'd love to see what Cam could do in Reichs' offense.  But it won't happen, and this forum would explode if it did, judging by some comments I've seen about Cam in the past.

No offense, but do you know any descriptions other than garbage, hot garbage, trash, or stinks?

Ya but this line when it got healthy didn't look this bad last year at any point during that win streak with the old o-line coach this new * that Frank is so high on couldn't even fix denvers garbage line.

    Apparently, he does not.

lol it’s not that deep smh..he literally has the kicking power at such an old age but the weird thing is where he keeps pulling and a lot of the times it’s because of the Holders placement on the ball which has been an issue for quite a while and also the long snapper has been an issue allowing people to block the kicks more frequently have also been an issue special teams as a core this year has been horrendous compared to other years where we had NO ISSUES SNAPPING KICKING AND HOLDING THE BALL

    That's a long sentence.

I love all the over reaction after a loss.

You overreact to random tweets from third-rate sports "reporters"    (I kid, I kid)

But yeah, I know what you mean, this place gets pretty ridiculous after a loss.

Some people think half the team should be benched and the other half should be cut.  :grumpy2:
