@danlhart87 is there an easy way to dig up old threads like this or did you go through all the pages?

Just having fun here...my prediction is not about who will be better than who. My prediction is that Hines is about as much of an NFL player as James was. Inconsequential.
I think you're right. Hopefully he can carve out a role in this offense but I think in the long run Wilkins will be a bigger contributor.

What is this screen pass you speak of? Short throw?? I don't understand...

Walker had some spectacular plays in that video. Chasing down Josh Dobbs and Bryce Love, and covering CMC on a wheel route. If he can makes those kind of plays for the Colts I'll be quite happy.

I think that ranking is fair. We are still at the bottom of the league in terms of talent and our QB is a complete mystery. With our current roster we are betting on a lot of players that are either inexperienced, coming off an injury, or both.
I believe in Luck and this team so I know we won't be last at the end of the year but I completely understand being ranked where we are.

Your draft analysis is better and more informative than most anything Bleacher Report puts out. Keep it up

Now we just need Saturday for the Line, Peyton for QBs, and Bob Sanders for DBs and we will be set!

Half joking... if his arm is too shot to play QB does want to play LB?
He did have a forced fumble at Stanford...

Boooooo! Misleading title got me riled up
While I like the idea of trading for a quality pass rusher or LB I don't want to lose future draft capital. Quite the conundrum

@NewColtsFan Drew Lock threw for nearly 4000 yards and had 44tds against 13 ints. This is mostly against SEC defenses. Those numbers are absurd and can't be denied.
If Josh Allen can go 7th overall I think Lock is a Lock for the 1st round

Who are the top ILBs? I'm looking for guys with speed who can cover the middle of the field.

Christian Wilkins playing safety in Clemsons spring game was both hilarious and terrifying. A guy his size shouldn't move like that and be able to tackle in the open field. It's was amazing

Sounds like a beast. What issues does he have? Technique, motor, of the field?

I hope Wilkins impresses this summer and earns RB1. Wilkins and Mack can then rotate in and out this season. I'd rather those guys play and develop than have a vet out there. Of course if they can't pass protect neither will see the field much...

I couldn't watch Luck play for any team besides the Colts. I'd have to become a soccer fan or something.

League is already half way there. Most teams want a SS/LB combo (run stopper on running downs and an underneath player on passing downs). Deonne Bucannon is the stereotype for this, but guys like Deion Jones (Atlanta) are what teams are really after. Or a Telvin Smith (Jags). If Skai Moore is even half the player those two are, we got insane value considering we picked him up as a Udfa.
He's not the athlete that those guys are but he does have great instincts and feel for zone coverage in the middle of the field.

Here is the UDFA tracker:
https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/4/28/17293694/nfl-draft-udfa-signings-tracker-results-2018
Allen Lazard, WR, Iowa State
Quenton Meeks, CB, Stanford
Eddy Pineiro, K, FloridaThose 3 I wanted are all with the Jaguars. Hate to say it, the Jaguars are the current darlings of the AFC South that players want to play for.
Their roster is stupid deep. If they had a better QB they would be unstoppable...

I sure hope so. We have abundant cap space and no CBs to really develop so it couldn't hurt.

how in the world does ismael not get drafted? Hes definitely a steal hands down
Watching him just now it looks like he's excellent at creating separation at the top of the route. His QB almost never hit him in stride though so he had to come back to the ball and make contested catches. Really good pickup for the Colts!

If Skai is 100% now, I think he'll be a UDFA for us that makes the 53. From there, he could improve a lot.
At the very least he's a perfect backup. Team Captain, high football intelligence, produced in the SEC, and most importantly he puts himself in a position to succeed on the field. I'm just stoked he has an opportunity on my favorite NFL team.
I know Ballard is listening to my fanboi raving and will put him on the 53

I had Skai as a 5th round prospect. Fell due to being undersized and neck injury he suffered in 2016.
I didn't know what to expect of him this past season coming off the neck injury but he looked the same to me. Hopefully he can carve out a role with the Colts.

You're taking this way too seriously. I'm sure he's just having a blast and enjoying his NFL journey. Even the toughest most professional players like JJ Watt joke around from time to time.
