May I cue in my recommendation of Inman when Deon Cain suffered his season ending injury way back in August : :)

Many of us on this board were wanting Inman. Nice to see we were right. He is playing really well and has gained good continuity with Luck.

I am SO pleasantly surprised at his production.

My brother and nephew are Steeler fans.  When Mitchell

was with them, it seemed like my brother was cursing him every week.

What a find.  Anyone know what we are paying him?

Vet minimum, he stated in an interview that he didn't sign for the money, he signed so he could play football this season and prove himself for next year.

  3. Could Ballard have done better in the last 2 draft...yes. I guarentee he himself would say the same. Every GM misses a few picks. However, anybody complaining about Nelson must have short term memory. Guard was a major need for this team. He is a very good player and was one of the best guards to come out in a long time.

If you want someone on your P.S., they must either be an already eligible FA, or a player a team waives that clears the waiver process.

Im know, i just didn't go into full detail. However, here goes...I would like the Colts to cut Pascal, sign Fountain to active roster. Then if/when Pascal clears waivers sign him to PS to take Fountains spot. Basically just swapping spots so we can see what Fountain can do. In 27 targets Pascal has 14 catches, 13 drops = not good.  The reason I'd keep him on PS is because he knows the play book.

Glad we dropped Pipkins and hopefully don’t have to play him again.  He was looking for a fight the entire time we played the Pats. Doesn’t sound like the signing is any better though haha

Yeah, after seeing his antics on the field Thursday night I knew he wouldn't last long around here. Ballard & Frank Reich don't tolerate those kinds of actions.

  6. BELL!! We haven't given Luck a premier RB sense he's been in the league. Give him Bell and he wouldn't have to throw 60 times a game or take quite the pounding game after game. If Ballard doesn't get us a quality RB and Tackle soon we may never see a Lombardi with Luck at the helm. Luck is elite and deserves better, the amount of throws and shots he has to take game after game isn't fair for any QB.

I don’t think Ballard will pick him up via trade or if he falls to us with the 3rd waiver claim.

Also I wouldn’t bet on Gordon all of sudden getting his act together.

With that being said, I would absolutely submit a waiver claim for him. This is an extremely low risk, but potentially a high reward move.

    - His salary is dirt cheap for the reminder of this year.

    - If he doesn’t turn it around, you cut him.

    - If he does turn it around (not likely) you have a stud talent.

No harm in taking a chance on this type of talent. If he fails again, it didn’t cost you anything.

This is an extremely low risk, but potentially a high reward move.

He's a vested vet, he will not go on the waiver wire. If released he'll be a free agent and free to choose between whichever teams want him.

  8. I bet he plays but if not this week he should be back next week forsure. He was Full participant today. It might be hard on that injured hammy sliding around in the wet grass though. Im worried Geathers will be out as well. He was a non-participant at practice today.

You do realize stewart was on the injury list too right? He's not guaranteed to play either

FULL participation...but ok. My only point in this thread was that it seems the coaching staff may be down on Ridgeway. 100% speculation on my part. I may be wrong. You obviously disagree and that is perfectly fine your entitled to your opinion no biggie.

They did it because autry is hurt and probably won't play it's simple doesn't make sense just have 2 DT'S active on gameday

That's not true. Read my reply again. We went into last week's game with 3 DT's = Woods, Autry & Stewart. Ridgeway was inactive. This week with Autry out we would still have 3 DT's = Woods, Ridgeway & Stewart. So....my point was the coaching staff must not have much faith in Ridgeway bc they were ok going into the game last week with only 3 but this week they are making sure they have 4. Like I already stated, I understand the logic though.

Denico is injured. Ridgeway is fine

Yeah, I know Ridgeway is healthy and Autry is banged up. However, last week we went into the game with only 3 DT's because Ridgeway being inactive. So if Autry missed this Sundays game and we didn't elevate Ward we would still be going into the game with same number of D-linemen as last week. Which tells me that they don't fully trust Ridgeway. I understand the reason behind the move,  just don't think it looks good for Ridgeway. I hope he balls out against Washington though.

3rd year in the program and if Clark doesn’t have the strength yet to play the position, he never will. I’m not sure why he was a healthy scratch but it’s a head scratcher with Constanza out for sure. Another one that is odd was ridgeway, just odd and Desir? Just some personnel choices that I wished could get answered but we shall see. Maybe it’s Reich making some statements on behaviors that have occurred and he is saying these can’t happen or you won’t play, if they continue, you won’t be here. We just don’t know.

I agree with everything you stated 100%. I hope Clark comes around but definitely not counting on it. I feel the same as you about Ridgeway and Desir. I was excited to see what Ridgeway could do in our new 4-3. I like Quincy but I'm also a fan of Desir and believe he would've played better than ol Club hand. Overall though I'm happy with the teams direction.

Wasn't Clark meant to be a backup for RG? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought he played guard for us before.

    :dunno:

No, Clark was drafted to play tackle and has only played tackle. He started a few games last year at RT but never guard. He's got the ideal build for the tackle position but doesn't have the strength he needs for the NFL.

I get that. But why not even have him dress when you’re already down an OT? Even if you’re carrying 46, you’d think with Luck coming back you’d take as many OL as possible. That means the only true tackles they had were Haeg and Webb. That tells me that they’re really uncomfortable playing Smith.

I’m aware that Webb started. But he got injured late and they went to Smith.

Smith only played tackle on the last snap of the game. Webb got injured on the Doyle fumble. If you look at the snap count you'll see Webb played every snap at RT but 1 and Haeg played every snap at LT.
